The Rdp Epos system is awful

The Rdp Epos system is awful
The software is poorly written
The system is slow
Prices keep on changing and an embarrassment as customers are charged wrong prices
I would not recommend this system until the software is improved

Outdated System

Have been using this system for 6 months now still have major problems. Spent 2 days with Matt going through these problems, he has passed them up the chain of command to no avail. This system is basically flawed, it’s a very old system and needs a major overhaul. My old system was SinQa started by YP about 30 years ago I only changed because of the “features “ your system were going to give me. Hannah please get in touch with me ASAP so we can discuss this issue.

Awesome software and backup

Awesome software and backup. The best by far of the 4 systems I have used. So many useful functions, could not be without it. Only down side is the Paypoint software which is problematical( not Retail Data's fault)

Help when needed

The call was one of a number that I have made since the system was installed in mid July. The response on all occasions has been excellent. I'm listened to in an understanding and helpful way. Problems/Queries have been dealt with in a very efficient manner.

the system is generally stable but i don't fully trust its stock management system particularly with regard to category stocktakes where many of the discrepancies between opening and closing stock figures are due to system duplication problems.

Disappointed

Poor updates of price files, always somebody else's fault, low hours of support and out of hours very limited support, left us with tills down completely.

Please check if the leaflet offers are properly coming in when we scan. Ex:lifestyle offers McCoy’s pm £1 should be 2 for £1.50.
Lot of them doesn’t come properly. There are loads like that in every offer list. We can’t call you and tell you all the bar codes.

having just had a shop refit we had a chip and pin terminal installed had several issues with network problems,which meant we could not trade properly found the technicians very helpful and efficient and our problems was solved thanks very much
