Very good product with excellent support.

ShopMate has proved to be a very competent product. I have been particularly pleased with the Technical Support. I can get through almost immediately to helpful people, who are able to fix most problems remotely in a matter of minutes.

£3,500 system

£3,500 system, which they advertise for £1000 and then £3,500 for over three years for system maintenance that you can’t get out of.
Hi Hannah,
When I did cancel the monthly maintenance payments, you guys sent someone to the shop and bullied my 55 year old MOTHER into start repayments again as we are not aloud to cancel and when we didn’t you start messing around with the till so it wouldn’t work and therefore had not option in paying again.

Used the system for many years

Used the system for many years. To much emphasis on producing upgrades that can be charged for instead of making the system workable. Any requests for upgrade or bug fixes take months, years or never happen.

The launch of the PPOS was not TRDP's…

The launch of the PPOS was not TRDP's finest hour. Months of crashed tills
and weekends with problems as very little support available made us very unhappy.

We have had this system for over 3…

We have had this system for over 3 years now and have found that the customer service is exceptional especially the out of hours service who when contacted phone back usually within 30 mins. We would highly recommend this system.

Disadvantages

Price files not uploaded, promotion files not uploaded, tills being updated during day so chaos caused , transactions being duplicated and so session reports not balancing with till contents . This is a few problems in last 3 months !!

Cost prices coming as zero for…

Cost prices coming as zero for cigarettes, tobaccos and groceries as well. Asked to sort these out thrice but still no luck. It makes the financial summary report completely false as the profit is calculated wrong as well. I was told that these are locally managed so I have changed the price plenty of times, but still it comes back to a penny (0.01) for outer or case price. Very disappointed.

Highly Professional and Reliable Team

Highly professional team. Very helpful. We have been their customer for 7 years and never had any trouble at all. Sometimes they have helped us with tailored made hotkeys etc with no extra cost. I will recommend to any retail shop for hassle free and reliable service
