Simply no support when issues arise. No way of contacting SIRO. When reseller can’t really fix the issues and Airwire doesn’t have a Sunday service so left in the dark.

I've had an outage in my area since April 5th with no sign of it being fixed. Fine when it works, a horrid company when it goes bad.
Staff do not answer emails.
Their customer support team do not answer emails. I am trying to get a simple issue solved (add my property to their database) and it is going on for over a year. Absolute madness.
It started off with Yulia not reading the questions and then simply ignoring all communication sent. Unfortunately, this is now resulting in a serious complaint being raised about the staff.
Also from reading Google reviews, I am not the only person to be ghosted once an enquiry was made about the adding and address to the database.
Worst experience
Worst experience, pathetic install of the Vodafone modem hung the modem via the LAN wire off a plug
If I could give no stars I would.

I have signed up for broadband in a new build. It's 3 weeks now siro say no room on port for me. Yet the whole road has broadband. So disappointed and without internet. Seem to be getting nowhere with trying to contact them.
AlBad internet company ways lost Internet connection!
Always lost Internet connection!
Impossible to contact
Impossible to contact, they don't have a phone number. They say they'll get back to email queries in 10 days. 10 fricking days! And in the meantime, their box is broken and we have no internet.

I'm waiting for SIRO setup in a new build estate. There is no phone number for SIRO so email is the only option for reaching out.
I've emailed multiple times and not received any update or response from SIRO in over 2 months. It's understandable if it will take some more time but zero communication in over 2 months is disappointing.

Very slow to get services from them
Very slow to get services from them, if is not them is the ESB. If is them no news untill they decide to do something.

No support to fix internet issues. Vodafone are the provider and use SIRO box for fibre optic
Storm last year damaged the fibre optic. Connectivity issues since. After 3-4x calls to Vodafone to fix it. They tried to upsell me WiFi extender without addressing the problem.
Then eventually they said we need to contact SIRO directly despite there being no support. Mental

I made a request on 19th of May for fibre connection. It is now the 18th of August. I had to wait for Siro/ ESB to bring the line over to my house. As it's a government agency they dont take accountability of any time line and push it back to the provider. Bad form and not customer centred.
I have no broadband since 24th October
I have no broadband since 24th October, 2024. Neither SIRO or broadband provider provide a service, totally dependent on ESB to fix lines. Siro service is absolutely deplorable.
2 days without broadband
2 days without broadband. Vodafone say it is Siro issue...no communications and no indication of when it will be fixed. my son is in the midst of his leaving cert and impacting his online notes study. I've had 2 faults since moving to Vodafone/Siro. Buyer beware....great at marketing...pity about the actual service!!
Wanted to move from eir because eir…
Wanted to move from eir because eir fibre is actually worse than copper (go figure). chose Virgin.
On the phone we were told it would be a simple switch and we assumed they would use the existing fibre line. They sent out the router and when we contacted them to say it won’t work we were told there ‘must be a small issue on the line’ but they could not attend for 4 days. SIRO engineers arrived this morning and told us the truth - got to get ESB involved and the whole process could take a month. Have to go back to eir now and cut my losses. Customer service agents haven’t a clue, tell different stories and refuse to escalate the issue. One week wasted without broadband. Beware
Over a month later, no broadband, no advice, no follow up.
20 Jan – I registered for Virgin Media 500mb Broadband
22 Jan - 3 Siro crews arrived to install the line. They returned to another job midway through for an hour and a half. Then one crew returned to draw the line in. He did not terminate the line as he said there was no connectivity in the line so there could be a break in the new line.
29 Jan – I phoned Siro to query the delay and was advised the crew would return to resolve the issue in the next couple of days.
31 Jan – I telephoned Siro as the crew did not arrive and I was told they could not confirm when the crew would return and they could not provide appointment dates due to the storm.
06 Feb - A Siro crew came to confirm the line to the house does not have a break. They mentioned first crew should have correctly terminated the line but did not. The break must be on the mainline or splicing.
12 Feb – I phoned Virgin Media regarding the delay and they advised the issue would be raise to Siro. A Siro crew would return to the house to terminal the line while the overhead crew resolve the connectivity.
Stable service so far through Digiweb
I connected to Siro with DigiWeb (they have great customer support). It seems that people forget that Siro only provides infrastructure. You going through same networks regardless of actual provider you choose. Difference between them is your monthly price and type of router they provide (usually some cheap unit with mediocre wifi). The only complain about SIRO I have today is it's 10 times lower Upload speed that Download. When they rolled out they were offering 200mbps Upload but later reduced it to 100mbps. Now, when they roll out 2Gbps service to more places they still did not increase it which does not add any real value when upgrading from 1Gbps (I work from home and upload speed does mater a lot). It seems only in Ireland this is acceptable (compared to rest of Europe).
Still no access to Siro network
Still no access to Siro network. Would love to know how they decide what areas to expand to. I'm in Kilbarrack with no access yet it's available in surrounding areas (Donaghmede, Raheny, Baldoyle, Sutton and even Howth). We're still not on the planned towns. No phone line so stuck with Virgin Media - which is so expensive.
We are based in Wicklow Town and been…
We are based in Wicklow Town and been given the absolute run around. We have been without Internet since 1:30 AM on 7 December (one of apparently 12 households impacted), so a full week now. Two adults work from home in our household, so there has been massive harm done professionally - one of us works in healthcare, so client care has also been compromised, but there is absolutely no estimate or communication on when our broadband will be restored.
I signed up to sky through Siro website…
I signed up to sky through Siro website as there was a deal for a 50€ voucher if you signed up. Asked for my voucher and no reply in a week.
So yes 1 star for false advertising.
No Internet since July
We have had no internet since 26th of July. Infuriating we have 4 different internet providers boxes at the house all of the can't set us up because of the stupid SIRO issue. Basically we have been told that there is some nationwide fault with SIRO and new builds and we can't set up. We actually had internet for 2 years before this but in changing providers we have not been able to set anything up. We have been told basically nothing any company can do SIRO is the issue and we should contact TD or Comreg to sort out!
