Following one of my visits to the clinic I spoke with Dr Strawford about implementing a more formal skin care regime and asked him for his advice on dealing with my problem skin . I was recommended clinicare which they stock in the clinic. I have been using the cleanser , the pure liquid moisturiser and finally the pure essence serum , all for inflammation prone skin daily for 2 months. My skin is much brighter and I haven’t had a single breakout since I started using them ! Thank you once again to Dr Strawford and the team for your recommendation, extensive knowledge and advice on treatments.

I’ve always been a moley person, but over recent years I’ve developed quite a few moles on my back and one under my arm pit which became a bit scabby as it rubbed on my clothes. I was becoming increasingly down with the ones that were raised and also slightly concerned.

I spent hours on end researching mole removal methods that would produce the least amont of scarring. I came across radio surgery and found that Dr Strawford was practicing this in Wells, which isn’t too far out of Bristol.

I had the procedure done in October. I was incredibly nervous, as this is not a method that is well known in the UK. I turned up to a beautiful surgery in a stunning location. Dr Strawford was confident there was nothing sinister about the moles. If there was, they would have been sent off for checking.

The procedure was very quick. I had about 8 moles removed. There is a slight amount of discomfort when the moles is injected and after that, it’s like a rubbing sensation.

Tanys was supporting Dr Strawford and helped put me at ease. They were both very friendly. Tanys even kindly gave me a lift back to the bus stop which was above and beyond.

The wound took very little time to fully heal. There are still pink marks where the moles were, but they are fading away nicely. According to the aftercare information, they should fade pretty much completely after 18 months. I am so much more confident already and am delighted I made this decision.
I paid outright but payment plans are available.

I highly recommend Dr Strawford and this method of removal. I think it will become more popular in years to come. I will probably have a few more removed, but have learnt as well to be extra careful and always wear a hi factor sun cream!!

I am currently having hair removal treatment at Skin Excellence. They have been informative, professional and sensitive. The treatment has made a huge difference to my confidence already. The clinic is comforting, calm and beautiful decorated. The staff ensure nothing is too much trouble and I find them all very trustworthy. I couldn't recommend this Dr Ian's Strawford's enough.

Where to begin .... so I had two moles removed on the 5/02/2020, one on my face and one on my back. From start to finish I cannot fault this lovely company, the receptionist who I first spoke to (very knowledgeable) right up to treatment they were fantastic. Absolutely faultless... now I have searched for a very long time to find the right place to get my moles removed as I wanted limited / no scaring given that one was on my face so when I found this company and read the treatment I knew they were the ones to do it! Met at door by Tanys, she was absolutely lovely made me feel so at ease, very chatty, the place is absolutely stunning and immaculate, set in a beautiful place it’s gorgeous! She came in and assisted Dr Strawford, he is a brilliant doctor very knowledgeable and very experienced, answered all my questions, very clear and thorough. Treatment was quick no pain at all. Wish I found them years ago... currently healing at the moment which is going very well, I was a little worried but honestly ... Dr Strawford and his team are extremely professional. The clinic is beautiful and provides a calming environment. I was a little nervous about having a silhouette soft thread lift but I was made to feel calm and relaxed from start to finish. The procedure was virtually painless (the numbing injections are basically all you feel) and the results are incredible!

At 33, after the birth of my daughter and a little weight gain and loss, I started to notice sagging in my lower face (jowls) and neck, making me look older. Many people view this treatment as something for slightly older women. After speaking with Dr Strawford and a lot of research, it’s clear that treatments like this are beneficial for younger women too. I have used fillers to improve the look of my face and they have worked very well but I was never completely satisfied and didn’t want to overfill my face. This treatments brings the areas of volume back to where they are meant to be.

The treatment has completely transformed my face. I could not be happier. It’s taken 10 years off!

I had Botox treatment in my face and I am very happy with the results; it was surprising to see my face not looking grumpy or tired. It softened my brows and made my face look more accordingly to my personality and mood. Highly recommended.

I was recommended to contact Dr Strawford by my Trichologist. I had been suffering with hair loss after having my two children and there was no sign of it improving. At my initial consultation Dr Strawford discussed my options and was clear to point out that with hair treatments, particularly in women, results are relatively unknown but the science is definitely there to hopefully work. I opted for the PRP hair restoration procedure. I have had good hair growth and thinning areas found by my trichologist are definitely improving. It’s not a quick fix and there’s a long road ahead but from my positive results I chose to have another treatment 3 months later and I am currently waiting to see the outcome.
