Slater and Gordon Lawyers - Liverpool Reviews 

I took my accident claim case to the Slater and Gordon Lawyers. Linda Taher, my Legal Advisor was very helpful throughout this journey of almost three years. She helped me understand every step of the claim procedures, from vehicle damage, to therapy treatment and to injury claim. I highly recommend this company and particularly Linda Taher if you have an accident claim.

They did everything for me when I put a claim in when i had a accident at work

I’m only giving one star as they deserve none.
As a retired Detective I implore people to stay away.
I approached SG some 2 weeks ago to investigate my mother’s death after the hospital had admitted negligence.
Upon speaking to an Irish female call handler and giving a detailed account it became obvious she was lacking any competence and was not fully engaging to record all the relevant material. I even told her she was not giving me confidence in her ability. A few days later I got a call asking for further information (I had already covered some of these points previously) I provided the information and the call terminated. A few days passed and I received another call asking the same questions? It transpired that the call handler had failed to record the conversation? I asked to speak to a manager with no joy but they said I would get a call back on Friday? Guess what no call was forthcoming. I called again and no manager was available and the complaints department completely closed for lunch? It transpires that they rejected my claim as the costs outlay the likely payout as she was 76. I get that but SG you would not have been given the opportunity as you are nowhere near professional enough. If this was you canvassing for business wow!

My case dragged on abit as it was started through covid , I had a few solicitors within the years but all had good correspondence with me , I can now say my case has settled and would recommend slater & Gordon and use them again if I ever needed .

I would like to say a huge thank you to Sian Thomas and Michaela Cregan from Slater Gordon, you made a distressing experience so much easier, both were always contactable and they kept me up to date throughout the process, the whole process took 3.5 years due to the claim however I was always kept in the loop

Took out Home & Contents insurance with Saga who appoint the RAC (yes really) to handle claims on their behalf. Told wrongly by RAC that my fall was before they took over handling Saga claims, so a good start there ! RAC appoint Slater & Gordon Lawyers for Personal Injury claims. I had a fall in October 2023 so made a claim against the offending company via Slater & Gordon. I've sent them at least 3 letters (3 signed for by them) with info about my claim, 5 photos of my injuries, 3 or 4 photos of the tree stump that caused my fall and how its recently been removed and covered with earth. I sent them full details of the owners and management companies and a copy of letters i sent to same informing them of my fall. I sent a copy of a letter i sent my GP informing them of my injuries. I have not had one single letter back save for one saying my claim wa outside their criteria for acceptance ! So I wrote to their CEO and received a reply saying it was a mistake caused by not being able to contact me yet they have my postal and email addresses ! I prefer those to be used as there is proof of what is said and a telephone number I had was said to be a scam number by many people online.Additionally when I first reported my claim by phone the first adviser was fine and understood but then passed me to someone else with a strong accent that i wasn't able to understand fully and seemed more vague. Hence I prefer correspondence by letter/email which is my right. I have previously been with LV for many years who have made errors over the years but always put them right and I really regret changing to Saga for the sake of saving £60 I think it was and the lure of a fixed price for 3 years. When that's up I'll go back to LV who use Lyons Davidson Lawyers who have been excellent at handling several injury and uninsured loss claims, far far better than this experience with Slater & Gordon. What has become of all the info and photos I've sent them ? It had better not be no trace or I will complain to The Legal Ombudsman

I had a car accident 2 years ago and was injured by it, Slater and Gordon Lawyers handled my claim. I couldn’t be happier with the way it was carried out, specifically by Ria Eaton. Ria has been brilliant throughout the time of the case, she always kept me up to date and was always professional whenever we spoke by email or phone and most importantly she made sure we got the best in our claim.

Used Slater and Gordon in 2017 for a no win no fee claim for an accident I had in a shop, it was a positive experience. However more recently my father had a negative experience with the Mercedes claims team. I recommended them to him so it was a bit disappointing to hear that the communication was so poor, there isn’t anyone you can speak to directly on the phone, he had trouble with the online portal. So we contacted the customer service team and asked them to remove him from their mailing list and he no longer wanted them to act for him. Some time later he kept getting communication from them. I then contacted client care, someone called Lee Jones was great from start to finish. He was understanding and reassured me he would contact someone to look into this, he kept in touch with me via email, he really took all the stress away. Then someone called Emma Schumacher from a team called Collective Actions finally contacted me reassuring me that no further action is needed and my father would be removed from all communications and actions for this matter. If it was not for them I would have given Slater and Gordon 0 stars for this recent experience. I have seen that it may just be flaws in one area of their teams rather than the whole company.

Emma McCosh at Slater and Gordon was great. Extremely helpful and always available to help and answer questions despite lots going on. She kept me fully informed and made the whole process of my claim much more straightforward. I would highly recommend her specifically to act on your behalf. She is extremely knowledgeable and pragmatic. I dealt with a couple of other consultants during my claim with S&G, and previously Jigsaw Law, and Emma was by far the best - I felt like she always listened and had my best interests at heart.
