Used them for car finance ppi , they totally ignored all the other companys that have charged ppi and concentrated on my most recent purchase 10 months ago with no result .

Slater & Gordon, keeps us fully up to date with the progress of our claims.
We receive regular updates from them as to progress reports and make some of the legal jargon more understandable.

Bizarre service. Obviously doing the job which is why they get 2 stars, but from a customer service point of view, it's impossible to contact them by phone, and when you send an email to their generic ID, you have to wait weeks/months for a generic response.
Wonder how/who will reach out once car finance claims are finally settled. Thrilling.

I have contacted this company numerous times to inform them of my father’s passing and to ask them to stop sending me emails addressed to my late father yet they take absolutely no notice and continue to send them. It’s insensitive, distressing and upsetting but they still do nothing about it … maybe this review will help! I have been so upset over this

Myself and my son approached slater and gordan with assistance in a very sensitive situation. From day one we dealt with Lauren Ridsdale of the family department and from the onset were treated with compassion and professionalism. We were advised accordingly and the matter was dealt with quickly and with ease. We were kept notified and updated throughout and Lauren responded quickly if we had questions. We can’t thank her enough.

They have updated the progress of my claim in emails, which i appreciate, they are doing their best and I appreciate the servie they are offering.

Very poor communication between myself and case handler. I had to chase them for updates and always late for pre planned meetings. Slater and Gorden deliberately mislead me about settlement figure which was approximately 25% higher. I only found out true amount when third party insurers needed my consent to chase their client for costs. I requested a breakdown of costs. Slater and Gorden to date have not provided a detailed breakdown on their costs.
Overall I only received approximately 50% of my settlement for a very straightforward case.
Due to my experience I would not recommend Slater and Gorden for two reasons value for money or customer care.

I have held back making any claims worrying about scams. I now feel totally relaxed having used Slater & Gordon Lawyers. There web site is very easy to use and their responses are so quick once forms have been filled I .

Easy to sign up and log in. Waiting now to see if there is a claim.

Out of the blue, I received an email from these chancers stating that they were acting for me in respect of Car Finance Mis-selling arrangements and if I wanted to cancel the arrangement, I should pay, to them, £176 Plus VAT. I explained that I have no idea who they are or how they have got my details. To 'prove' that I had 'signed-up' with them they sent a screenshot of my signature which is clearly forged (it looks nothing like my signature and looks like it has been scrawled by a 3 year old. I have reported them to the police and the 'Report Fraud' organisation who are now investigating these fraudsters.
