The OVO solar team were excellent. They worked hard and were very considerate. They explained how to use the new equipment patiently.

Contacted OVO for a quote and some queries and immediately felt valued . Was put directly in touch with the area install manager who quickly and efficiently put a proposal together , visited the site and explained everything . It was a breathe of fresh air to deal directly with a real human single point of contact to answer all my queries and help with the whole admin process .. on acceptance the install team were up within a month .. really nice guys who did a great job ..no messing about and pride in their work . After care personal contact continues with the same team which is very reassuring .Very very good service and highly recommended.

The experience from the start to finish has been first class. No pushy sales just an honest conversation, tradesmen who turn up on time who are polite and efficient and great scaffolders that even cleaned my guttering. The solar kit is excellent and working really well. Comms throughout was great. Highly recommended

Work was carried out on time and to a standard that more than pleased my very critical eye. Such a friendly bunch to work with as well. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent installation from start to finish. The team installed our solar panels perfectly and worked with me on positioning the panels and batteries and routing the cables as I liked them. They worked tirelessly to get the job finished in the rain which was very appreciated. Dallas, the electrician, was especially helpful in the cable routing and checking the installation was set up correctly. Thanks to all the team. Would definitely recommend them.

Great experience with Modern Renewable solutions through emails and finalising over the phone.
I had a few quotes from other local and long-distance companies; we decided on them for being local and answering all questions.
we had 17 panels 475, 9 kw inverter with 2 x 10 kw battery storage.
The Scaffolders also worked quickly
we can’t fault the standard of work, they left the site tidy, friendly and trusting as I wasn't always around.

The OVO SW team (Modern Renewable Solutions) were great to deal with from the first point of contact. Having answered my detailed questions, they gave me a couple of alternative proposals. Of the 4 companies I approached for quotes, I felt the OVO system offered the best value for money. I really appreciated dealing with a local company with their own installers rather than sub-contractors. The entire process was seamless and went very smoothly. I can't fault the team - everyone from the scaffolders, roofers and electricians where friendly, hardworking and brilliant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

OVO came to us in south west Cornwall. We had 24 panels fitted, an 18kWh battery, 12kW inverter and a gateway to run off grid if needed. The whole process took a week from building scaffolding to taking it away. The fit itself took about 2 1/2 days. The job was competitively priced, incredibly neat and professional. The installers are knowledgeable and experienced with the product that they fitted. Storm Goretti hit us and the power was off for 5 days. The system allowed us to run the heating, keep the fridge and freezer running and keep our sanity. This is an excellent professional team

Highly professional team, from initial quotation through to installation and aftercare. Both James and Danielle in the sales team were able to answer all my queries and offer expertise and advice when designing my solar system. Josh, Declan and the team of scaffolders and my Installers, Stuart, Drew, Taz and Cam were all highly efficient, respectful, collaborative, competent and happy! remarkably they worked quickly in sub zero temperatures to get my system up and running within 30 hours of first arriving to site! Incredible work guys! Rhys in aftercare - has been very supportive guiding me through the next steps of my solar journey. Very good service from initial conversation through to installation and after care. Very professional and personable and answered all my questions. The team from the scaffolders, to solar panel engineers to the electricians were very professional. The team behind the scenes also were available when I had additional queries. Totally satisfied.

This is about my Solar and battery installation. Communication throughout the whole process was very good, and Greenscape, the installers, were fantastic and did a great job with the installation on the 31st October 2025, very hardworking and cleaned after the job.

Excellent right from the start. No pressure once the quotation was raised. Very informative site visit prior to accepting the quote.
Everyone I spoke to during the process was polite, friendly and most helpful.
