Fantastic quality & colour

Gave up and cancelled after 12 weeks

I ordered a bed on 20 May 2025 and paid the full amount by Paypal. Delivery was stated as being "Approximately 4 weeks". After waiting over 12 weeks I cancelled the order.

On the plus side Soren's House offered a temporary replacement bed and a voucher for £100.00 neither of which I accepted.

On the minus side, I was not updated and given a progress report unless I contacted them first and their telephone always went to answerphone so I had to use e-mail. The bed I ordered was still being offered on their website throughout the 12 weeks as being available in approximately 4 weeks when I randomly checked several times.

Their customer service is woefully inadequate despite being described by them as "Customer happiness."

In short, although I gather they have many satisfied customers, in my case, I never felt that they were prepared to keep me in the picture about my delivery without prompting. As mentioned by another customer on Trustpilot, I found the tone of some of their communications somewhat passive aggressive.

At last I have received a full refund via Paypal and I shall never be ordering from or recommending Soren's House to anyone in the future.

I am so sorry that your original delivery was damaged, so that we had to re-order this for you. Our customer services team offered a free replacement bed and compensation for the wait.

As stated in our previous reply we have also experienced some delays over the summer with shipments from Europe.

This has been a huge learning for us as a small family business, and how we manage timescales for shipments during July and August.

We sincerely apologise for any frustration and disappointment caused.

10 weeks for something advertised as 3-4 weeks

10 weeks for something that was listed as 3-4 weeks. Poor customer service with no proactive updates and had to chase a lot for any updates. Good product but won’t be using Soren’s House again.

Thank you for leaving us a review. The item that you ordered quoted approximately 4 weeks for delivery.

Unfortunately, we have experienced delays over the summer with some shipments from Europe, as businesses close down for summer holidays. This has then caused a knock on effect with transport and customs delays.

I am so sorry that this affected your delivery and for the frustration caused. I’m pleased that you are happy with your item, but the delay was so disappointing.

This experience has been a huge learning for us as a small business and we will be sure to factor in this experience to delivery timescales next summer to avoid this happening again.

Great shop!!

Well pleased with Soren’s House. I wanted to try the Ehlée products - a French brand, well know for their good quality silicone baby bottle and I was not disappointed. Pleased to see this brand amongst other great brands. The order were arrived quickly and well-packed. Highly recommend. I didn’t wait to write this review to order again.

Went Above and Beyond

Purchased an item from Soren's House as it was cheaper than direct from the manufacturer.

Great price, packaged well and quick shipping.

I did have an issue with the item (it was defective) and contacted Soren's House to ask for some assistance. They were very quick to respond and helpful. Contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and arranged for a replacement to be sent out, direct from the manufacturer.

I cannot fault Soren's House at all - they were very helpful and the level of customer service was great. I would highly recommend them and will shop again with them in the future.

A very good shopping experience

A very good shopping experience. Quick and efficient delivery of a beautiful rug which was not available anywhere else that I could see, and is exactly what I wanted.

Still No Refund – Extremely Disappointing Experience with Soren’s House

I returned an item to Soren's House back in April, and despite their policy stating I would be refunded, I still haven’t received anything. I’ve reached out multiple times through phone, email, and online chat, and have been completely ignored every time.

I’ve now had to contact my payment provider to try and get my money back, because Sorens House hasn’t followed through on their promise to refund me for the return.

What’s even more frustrating is that it seems like the only time they actually respond to customers is when someone leaves a bad review. That’s not how a trustworthy business should operate.

This has been a stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend Sorens House to anyone. If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect any support or accountability.

Great independent store with gorgeous selection of products!

Great experience with Soren’s House - our order was delayed through no fault of their own (caused by a manufacturer delay), but communication about the issue was honest and helpful, including trying to find solutions as an alternative. When the item finally arrived it was exactly what I was hoping! Wouldn’t hesitate to shop here again.
