Great help
I already own a Volvo S90 and having it connected to the app is really convenient. That car came from a main dealer and so was already set up for me. Bought another S90 from a non-franchise dealer and phoned Taggarts Volvo Glasgow to try and help me set it up on the app. Elliott was a fantastic help and did everything required on their end to authorise the activation for free and within minutes. 10/10.
Outstanding service
I had a problem with warning alerts on the car while visiting the area. My car was fitted into the day's schedule and I was kept regularly informed of progress. The problem was identified and resolved. An excellent reception service and great teamwork all round. Well done and thank you
Taggarts Volvo not Taggarts
First of all I have to say I am not complaining about all Taggarts as I have purchased 4 Landrovers from Taggarts in the past without any problems.
The latest failing was with a roof box I ordered with the special offer of free roof bars. I telephoned on the 4th June to order the roof box and was told the offer finished that day and I would have to order it before 4pm to get the offer, I then checked the website to find the offer was not finishing until the end of June. I telephoned back and the person from the parts department then agreed the deal was on until the end of the month so I then ordered the roof box with bars, I was then told I had to go to the booking department to book the car in for fitting. I then telephoned the booking department and arranged for the roof box and bars to be fitted at 12:45 on the 8th June, I received an email confirming my appointment time with instructions to make sure I arrived on time. On arrival I was informed that the workshop people would be stopping for lunch at 1:00 begging the question why was my appointment for 12:45 but I let that slide. At 1:30 I was then approached and asked if I had known that I needed roof bars I informed the parts lady that I had ordered the roof bars as part of the Volvo offer she then informed me that they didn’t have the roof bars and I she would order them now. I think I will probably have them fitted elsewhere.
Service from this company is shocking
Service from this company is shocking. Engine Management Light has been on In my Evoque since I purchased it nearly 3 years ago. Been in to get fixed multiple times, however, still on. Now been told I will have to wait 6 weeks before they can look at it again. This is unacceptable. Promised call backs from garage have never materialised. Would not buy a washing machine from this mob.
All about money money with this company and terrible service.
Once again Land Rover proving that they aren’t willing to help customers unless it involves money. So I kept getting calls after calls about my service being due they quoted me over £400 for it so decided to go else where to another branded company who did this for just over £200. Since my service has been done I’m still to this day receiving calls telling me that my service is due and every time this call happens I end up with warning messages on my car it clearly states on my app which is linked to Land Rover that my service has been done and when it’s next due but they don’t seem to know that. Today I got a call from taggarts Lanarkshire about my complaint to be told if I want it reset I’ll have to book it in and have to pay for it. Clearly a fault here as the warning shouldn’t be showing up everytime I start my car. I’m so glad that in a few month I’m getting rid of this car and going to another manufacturer and I will never buy any Land Rover product again due to the hassles I’ve had since buying the car. Terrible service and unreliable.
Extremely dissatisfied with taggarts…
Extremely dissatisfied with taggarts Motherwell, returned on several occasions to have tail lights looked at and confirmed that they would be replaced on warranty only to be told on the day it was booked in for the job to be told it would cost over £800 as the workshop manager that agreed to do the job under warranty had since left , this car cost me a lot of money and I feel totally let down and disappointed with the service and communication I have received, I had been thinking about changing the car later this year but I will now be doing so elsewhere
Great service. Highly recommend
I had been looking for a landrover discovery for a long time. Finally came across one on the LR approved used website. However 300 miles away in Glasgow! I enquired online and Amir called me within 12 hours and sent me a personalized video of the car!
Within a couple of days without any pressure I decided to proceed. Amir was easy to contact via email, sorted all paperwork and arranged a transporter to deliver the car.
Arrived in superb condition. Slightly scent of pets.. which I’m sure I can soon turn around and after all It is a second hand car!
Only slight downfall, was the follow up!! Never heard from anyone since the final paperwork was signed! Luckily I’ve had LR before so know most of the features. But as I didn’t collect in person I missed out on the 1hr demo of it!
Also missing all the past Service & MOT History which usually comes with a car. But I’m sure LR will get that sent over.
Overall very impressed after being very nervous to spend a large chunk of money on a second hand car I had never seen!
Thank you!

Great car, great company…
I was very pleased with my overall experience.
As I was buying the car unseen from the south of England I had to rely on the photos and descriptions provided by the sales person Stephen Galbraith. He was a pleasure to work with. He and the team went above and beyond to facilitate the handover. When I arrived, slightly apprehensive, to pick up the car, it surpassed my expectations and I am delighted with it. Stephen was very personable and professional. It was great to meet him in person and on reflection I feel confident I have made the right choice buying a car from Taggarts.
Many Thanks, Michael.

bad service
So, having bought my car in Sept for the new plate im suprised that having messed me about with regard the in control system the licence has run out in march when it should run out in Sept.
It should have been renewed by Taggarts when the system was updated /fixed it seems they didnt do that and so on a car where it should be renewed on the aniversary of buying it (Sept) it renewed in March, 6 months early ...is there any contact with this place that goes to plan or well....so far i cant think of any.
Getting a new Volvo
Covid has stretched lead times on new cars, but during this time Steven kept me informed throughout the "wait" period. The whole experience was made straightforward and pleasant, and the customer service was excellent. I can thoroughly recommend Taggarts Volvo.

Taggarts were a great assistance in selecting a new car and offered great advice.

Get your wallet out!
Nice of them to pick up the car and deliver it back. Pity it took more than 3 weeks, despite having booked well in advance. The video analysis was good, but it requires you to approve costs before proceeding, and almost all costs were 50% higher than main dealer prices on the net, and many ‘advisories’ were frankly unnecessary. So you approve and then find the parts that you originally advised were needed were not in stock either locally or nationally. Takes a week to advise when parts are available and then I get put to the back of the workshop queue. Then told ready by Friday, but delivered the next Tuesday…..with a flat tyre!?
Online progress reports available, but the app said my case was not registered.
Just as well I did not need my car for three weeks, and had the £2k to get it back (£5k if I took the advisories).
Pleasant enough staff, but I felt robbed with a smile. Back to my local garage next time.
Appalling Customer Service.
Appalling Customer Service. Taggarts Land Rover Glasgow South.
Issues with car 1 year after purchasing. 3 years later still same issue, advised it is not being driven enough/doing enough miles. Low and behold after the manufacturers warranty expires, and you purchase extended warranty at nearly £1000 they then tell you the issue could be this or that, but it is not covered by the extended warranty, only the manufacturers warranty that has expired. Booked in for today for replacement of CVboot joints (that were replaced in June and needing replaced again in November). Whilst driving to Taggarts this morning I receive a message to advise they don't have the parts. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

If your jaguar develops an issue within days of paying your money do not expect anyone from Taggarts Glasgow to return your phone calls. Appalling customer service still waiting for issue to be resolved after THREE months.
5 star service!
I purchased my Jag E-pace over two weeks ago and the service from start to finish was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond at every step, my calls were answered/returned promptly and no task was too much for them. Vicki was my main point of contact and she was very hands on throughout, made me feel at ease and talked me through every step of the process. Having had the level of service that I received I would happily purchase from Taggarts again!
Having just purchased my Land Rover…
Having just purchased my Land Rover yesterday from Taggarts, Motherwell, I can only say that my experience with sales was very pleasant. Sales Executive - Danny was fantastic, very friendly, and helpful, and not pushy. Let’s hope the service department are as good when required!
Two faces of Taggarts
Taggarts were a pleasure to deal with when choosing my wife's motability vehicle however when it came to her first service the experience was terrible. First they wouldn't pick up and deliver. They then said they didn't supply a courtesy car. When we said we would have to go elsewhere they relented and said they would give us a loan car. Come the day the service reception person started off our conversation by telling me in unfriendly terms that "they don't usually give out courtesy cars" . She didn't want to see some if the paperwork they had insisted that we bring. She went out and brought an automatic vehicle to the door. She said it had 40 miles in the tank. The dash readout said 35. I asked if any of the nearby garages had petrol. She said "well I didn't have any problem on the way in" . I eventually worked out how to adjust the seats and drive this totally different vehicle...I had to as no help was offered. We drove to the two nearest garages and they both had no fuel so we took the car back and removed our own vehicle. My wife who is disabled and just home from 6 weeks in hospital was very distressed by this horrible treatment and we would recommend that motability drivers avoid this uncaring dealer

SO....I dont know where the 2.5 stars came from. !!
My experience of TAGGARTS, GLASGOW is the best Dealer we have ever bought a car from.
Emails answered within 30 mins, phone calls really prompt.
Couldn't have been more helpful. Video presentation really helpful. Delivery on time. Car immaculate with a tank of petrol. Good deal and will use them again.
Couldnt be better.
Thank you, Alan and John
Taggarts worst dealership I've ever used
Worst dealership I've ever used, used them years ago in Motherwell appears nothings changed. Back up, after sales and service and the attitude of staff with there dismissive manner.
Paint/laquer peeling, I thought straight forward warranty repair, car taken for inspection regarding work to be done, 10mins later told thats it we'll get back to you, car was parked on the street at Taggarts and at no point was the car looked at by anyone, I could see it at all times, after several phone calls to them over the next few weeks I finally was told "the car has been repaired before and that's why the paints peeling" oh so you sold me an accident damaged car after telling me when I was purchasing it, it had no previous damage" oh, eh or it could have been the products your using thats caused the paint to peel", make your mind up Taggarts,
UPDATE, car has now been repaired by Taggarts, soon after posting review, and they even had the valeters "TOUCH UP" (would this be covered by paint warranty) scratches that weren't there when they uplifted the car for repair, this was recorded on the dash cam, along with some audio apparently debating who's fault it was, a copy was sent to them to explain, they got back to me and I was told they could not explain why this was done,
4 months later still awaiting update regards previous possible damage prior to my purchase of the car.
Now use Volvo Stirling more pleasant and professional.
Time to forward all to Volvo UK now, had enough.
After recent 'comedy of errors' in…
After recent 'comedy of errors' in dealing with Taggarts Jaguar Dealership in Hillington Glasgow, I though I would check reviews on Trustpilot. Suffice to say their neighboring Volvo Dealership has far from glowing reviews.
From initial contact with dealership, for a warranty fault on a nine-month old Jaguar XF, to final repair at the end of July, I have never seen so many errors and downright misleading lies in dealing with the After Sales Team.
I cannot fault the repair to my car but this was done by their Parent Company Lookers Audi Repair Shop!
The constructive feedback given to the Aftersales Manager (at his request) did not merit any comment and the subsequent follow-up to Lookers Complaints Dept. again appears to have been given the same level of attention.
In nearly 40-yrs of motoring I have never dealt with a dealership with such a lack of professionalism and competence and certainly would not trust them with servicing my car when due. i only hope I do not have any other warranty issues that may force me to use.
I JUST HOPE TAGGARTS ARE TAKING HEAD OF THESE REVIEWS AND PROVIDE FURTHER TRAINING AND BETTER PROCEDURES FOR DEALING WITH THEIR CLIENTS.
