Great customer service friendly staff and quick

Good from the AA but garage didn't return my car until the next day using some poor excuse about oil and oil filter not arriving on time, IT'S A GARAGE WITH NO OIL OR OIL FILTER "REALLY" but they did bring it back to me by 10am the next day

Rather too Expensive…I liked the slight discount for membership bookings but would have preferred it to be £10-off; & then repairs seemed a bit on the steep side…like: £100 for an Alignment&Polish… where in the past the Polish alone has been only £30…
~but other than that the booking-in process was generally efficient & pleasant…

I had a torn seat afterwards. They denied saying that it’s been there before. But I can’t recall having a torn seat. I am disappointed.

It was very convenient to have the vehicle picked up, but I was expecting some kind of update before the car came back.

Very happy with the garage i used. There was some initial apprehension on my part as it was the first time i had used them. But i felt i could trust them to do a good job because they are AA approved.

Easy to navigate, clear instructions. Garage couldn't have been better.

I would have liked to have a report on the service that was done.

AA Smart Care didn't contact me at all to let me know what time to pick my car on the day, which was 07/10/2026. I however strangely received a message on the 09/10/2026, which said my car was ready to be picked up. I had already picked up my car on the 7th. If I had relied on AA Smart Care, then that would have been a problem.

There were no issues with the garage itself.

I booked my car for a diagnostic.
The mechanic came to me and confirmed my suspicions of a faulty alternator, but was unable to do the repair himself.

I called out a second mechanic from the AA and he immediately said that it can't be done roadside. Annoying that the first mechanic didn't know but alright.

The AA offered a full refund but said it can take up to 21 days which is ridiculous.

So I booked a garage to replace the alternator and took my car there. The next day the garage says that they can't do the repair and that the AA should not have sent the job to them.

So the AA arranged for it to go to another garage, which fortunately was close as my battery was near enough dead by then.

Just a lot of hassle and stress for something that could have been solved much sooner. Why they sent me to a garage that can't do the repair I'll never know.

I wouldn't use the AA again and would rather go directly to the garage instead.

The confusion between The AA and The garage on work needed and parts required gave me an estimate that then changed and added £1000.

The process was painless and easy, I did not feel that any unnecessary work was being carried out or that I was being patronised. When I asked a question I got a straight answer! Very grateful to the helpful and friendly staff I encountered.

The work was done well (eventually!)

However the appointment was “rescheduled “ four times, meaning that i was without my car for two weeks. It would have been quicker to use a local garage.

Great service - garage was quick and communicative. Great value for money.

Quick and easy to book. Garage I wanted had availability. Reassurance of AA recommendation. Great service, reasonable prices and MOT discount though the AA. Very happy.
