I was recommended the Back Friend by my physio as I have been having treatment on my back and feet twice a month, and he realised that my body is out of alignment, my left hip up to high and my body twisting slightly to the right, this has most probably been for some time as I am 65 and have had problems with my back for some 20 years, the muscles on the right-hand side are very short and tense, because they are over-compensating for my body being out of alignment. I received the Back Friend the day after it was dispatched and have used it ever since. Straight away I realised it was automatically placing my spine in the correct position, and my physio noticed the difference as soon as he saw me a week after it arrived. I find I do not ache as much as I did previously and feel so much better in myself. The Back Friend is quite an amazing product.

I have been a new person since acquiring my Back Friend! After my back fusion operation, things started to improve greatly, but I needed to take a cushion for my back wherever I went. Then my husband bought me my Back Friend. FANTASTIC! It is literally 'My Best Friend' - having the handle really helps, such an easy thing to travel with - It has been a godsend!

I ordered a 'back friend' from The Back Shop one day, and received it the next! This is the fastest service I have ever had when ordering on line - and the 'back friend' is pretty good too. Their website also has some useful advice for dealing with these difficult backs.

Have just flown to Sydney and found this cushion to be brilliant. Made a real difference and enabled me to get a decent sleep without usual neck ache.

The wedge cushion I ordered arrived very promptly. I use it to sit on a wooden dining room chair, and it has helped with lower back ache and sciatica. It has taken a bit of getting used to, but I am definitely sitting up straighter!

This is the first time I've bought a back cushion from The Back Shop, and the service was excellent, with prompt delivery of the items. The cushion does not disappoint, in that it provides perfect lumbar support which means I can sit on virtually any chair. I have only one slightly negative comment, which is that it is a little heavier (though not "heavy") than the cushions I used to buy from Posture Curve, who have ceased trading now.

The service was first class. I ordered on Sunday, the order was processed on Monday and here on Tuesday. What could be better than that?
