the backfriend arrived safely

The BackFriend provides wonderful support for my back on just about every chair imaginable. It is excellent value for money. Plus The Back Shop provides an excellent service. I ordered my Backfriend late on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24/12/13) and it arrived by courier on the day after Christmas (Friday 27/12/13). I was really surprised. If you need something to help you sit up straight and support your back, this is it.

I was impressed by:
- the different options for colour design on the wood and fabric of my chair
- the speed of delivery

I was not so impressed by:
- the fact that the delivery was taken to the wrong address
- the fact that the chair came in flat pack, which I do not remember being mentioned anywhere during the purchasing process

The correct goods arrived in the agreed timescale.

After too many years of slouching I decided it was time to do something & after research I ordered the 'Backpal' from the Back Shop. My order arrived the next day (can't ask for better than that) and it's really working. Even when I'm not using the Backpal I am thinking about my posture... I've only been using it for a week, but so far so good!

I ordered the backfriend. Its a good product for the office and at home. Delivery was very quick.

I bought this Backfriend for a friends Birthday ,who has had a very bad back , his Birthday was 2 days after the order was placed , so it was really amazing it came overnight , so the Birthday was celebrated in style & with less pain .Many thanks .

I knew it was a very good product as I have had 2 since year 2000 or earlier , & I use them on different chairs particularly on my study /computer chair , I have very few bouts of back problems now .

My order arrived the next day and I am delighted with my Sitting Partner. I have suffered chronic back pain for years and now have a compression fracture of my lumbar spine. This product is wonderful and has greatly relieved my pain when sitting.

I was rather worried about buying something that I had not tried, but it is everything that The Back Shop says it is.

Bought a Back Friend from The Back Shop and put it into practice in my car. The only way I can describe the experience is that it was like driving in a deck chair.

In fairness, it was the product not the company.

The order arrived next day as promised.

I am thrilled to pieces with my new office chair from the Back Shop. It is like a miracle: in only two days' use my back pain has diminished 90%, plus I am much more cheerful and more motivated to do all the writing and other computer-based tasks that I had been putting off for months. Any doubts I may have had about the cost have totally dissipated.
I contacted The Back Shop through their website messaging service and had an very rapid and helpful "conversation" about my needs (which were complicated by my height).
My initial assessment at the New Cavendish St shop was very thorough and helpful. Craig was very professional and I learned a lot about posture and seating positions, despite having lived with my bad back all my life. There was no pressure to choose any particular chair and I was given all the time I needed to select the best model and then dither over the colour of the upholstery.
I was subsequently kept informed of progress with my chair's arrival and paid a second visit to the shop to have all the features explained.
Delivery was on time and the chair arrived at the front door of my upstairs flat beautifully protected by plastic covers but with no massive packaging requiring disposal.
Both the product and the service I received were outstanding and I cannot recommend the Back Shop too highly to fellow back sufferers.

The 'Back Friend' is a friend indeed. It took a couple of days to get used to it as it does exactly what it is designed for, to make a person sit upright. After that, life got better day by day and I use it all the time, with great effect. It has done more than heal my back pain - it's put a smile back on my face ! Thank you.

Excellent product the 'back friend' easy to pick up and go - good for all those really uncomfortable sofas and chairs you come across and cant get a good sitting position in.

Placed my order on Monday, received product on Tuesday - £10 cheaper for exactly the same item in my local High Street (plus free delivery as it was over £50).

I was amazed at how quickly my order for a back cushion was delivered. Next day service - fabulous! How relieved I was to get it. Also the advice on the web regarding how to sit with back pain was extremely uselful, something that I have not seen before .
First aid for bad backs! Great!
I have not ordered from The Back Shop before but certainly will if I need to buy any other back aids.

I had tried other back supports to improve my posture, but as soon as you take them off you return to your original posture as there is no muscle memory. With this product the alarm makes you hold your muscles in position. I can already feel a difference after a few days and I am really looking forward to seeing the results after the estimated 4 to 6 weeks. The web site was really easy to use, the price was reasonable and the delivery was really quick. I would highly reccomend this product and company.
