Don’t expect sofa to last more than 2 years
Bought a brown leather sofa in 2021 , confirmed it was leather . ( messenger conversation recorded )
But today because the sofa has torn in places , contacted the company to be told its not leather ! Sorry hide leather …
That this is “ wear & tear “ after 2 years ! Knew it was ex display , but Not a bargain to be buying g PU leather at £1000 .
Very unhappy customer and would be no stars but don’t think the company cares about reviews .
Further to the reply below … we asked in a message “ was this real leather “ ? Answer yes !
All I’m my saying is double check

Awful
I bought a Sofalogy corner sofa online in March 2023 described as "new other" condition (ex-display) but they delivered a seriously frame-damaged sofa which had been repaired so poorly, unprofessionally and in clumsy non-standard way. Also, it's all headrests got issues as well (I got pictures of the defects, screen shots, CCTV photage and more evidence).
As soon as their delivery van arrived, they quickly unloaded the sofa and carried upstairs inside the block in order not to allowing me to inspect it carefully on the pavement or to not realise the defects involved. But I noticed these major faults few hours after the delivery because the frame is not visible to see from outside at first glance but you have to turn over the sofa and open the cloth beneath to access under the sofa and check it. While moving the sofa upstairs, I could only see it's outside leather cover and underneath cloth which was ripped largely, but nothing more. I asked him why the cloth is ripped and there are minor scratches on the leather, they said it could have happened during loading/unloading and I can buy the cloth and replace it on my own later on and also use some balm to fix the scratches... although I reluctantly agreed to what they advised, but thought it’s normal with an ex-display item to have minor issues and it's OK but I was totally kept unaware of the serious defects underlying inside the sofa which was the structural frame damage, it had been snapped badly and repaired again so defectively and incompetently just to make it stand somehow for a while. However, in our multiple contacts made prior to purchase, none of these faults (or possibly more) were stated at all but said it’s in excellent condition, all fine...
The guy (Nathan) who is probably doing everything in this company, was very persistent to be paid in cash so he can save Ebay fees and will give us discount instead (which was his dirty trick to deceive us). Once he got the money upon delivery, he then vanished and was not answering calls/texts whatsoever after I informed him of the defects found. These guys only try to maintain the appearance of the items to look good and tempting but inside where you can’t see visually is terribly repaired which you never know. They are not adhered to any ethics or trading law but self-interest. This dodgy company should be fined or shut down by relevant authorities as it's a total scam. Please AVOID this rogue trader at any cost and don't put you on hassle!

Bay Furniture Company, small company, big service.
Popped in to the Bay Furniture Company in Haverfordwest to look at sofas, ended up buying a solid timber sideboard.
Excellent service by Nathan on the day. He was more than accomdating over payment, storage and delivery.
Unfortunately due to mis-measurement by myself the sideboard was too large for it's intended space
Nathan was happy to cancel the purchase and refund the purchase as soon as possible. He even messaged me very early morning to tell me the refund has been sent.
You don't get this quality of service from big chain stores, it pays to shop and support local business.
Excellent service

The delivery was quick and the chaps delivering had great manners and helped us without question. I recommend them to any one wanting new furniture.

Sofa and Chair
Replaced a old 20 year old sofa with a purchase from the Bay Furniture Co. Absolutely fantastic experience, so much choice. We now have a 3 seater and single armchair with power recliners in the most softest leather. Absolutely excellent service, looks fantastic, superb quality bought locally from the Haverfordwest store, staff great and delivery guys made the experience effortless. Would highly recommend. Definitely worth a look. No long waiting times for your order and kept up to date about the delivery and were so flexible. Lots of other fantastic furniture in stock too.
