Time wasters. From receipt of quote it took over a month and I still have not received a fitting date. For some reason the fitter had to visit and he sadly forgot the appointment (although he said he was stuck in traffic but offered no rearrangement time). I think Brian Hawkes perhaps quoted wrongly so his response to my email saying the fitter had forgotten and I wanted a booking date was "I suggest you go elsewhere". Unreliable, unprofessional, indeed, go elsewhere.

The hampstead branch are very professional and the advice given was very helpful. From sales through to my fitted Amtico flooring was a pleasant process. Would definitely recommend.

We hired The Flooring Group’s Islington branch to source and install engineered walnut flooring back in July 2017 in two bedrooms for a total cost of £6.5k. The experience can only be described as abysmal!

Here are just some of the issues: installed wrong underlay and placed on-top of the carpet underlay to save time; cut the skirting boards at the incorrect height damaging them to the point they needed replaced; dented the walls; scratched the bed; installed scraped and dented boards; took months to address poor workmanship; ignored and then obfuscated when asked for basic information when a claim was issued; installed two different colours of floorboards from different product runs, factories, and countries leaving obvious different woods in the master bedroom and the smaller bedroom being a different colour than the master; installed different thresholds in the two rooms with some being damaged at point of installation and took over a year to settle the claim.

After sheer exhaustion of dealing with the ‘jokers’ that are the management of this firm I accepted a settlement from them after issuing legal proceedings in the County Court. While I gave up the fight of trying to get the different woods installed ripped up and replaced, I did get c. £900 back after about a year of arguing. The default excuse for poor product and workmanship from this firm is “within industry tolerances”, see the photos of their work, the different wood and thresholds are not within the tolerances expected of a firm that purports to be experts and who say they check wood before installation to make sure it matches to avoid many of the issues we faced.

Avoid these people at all costs!

I met here the lovely Ornella (wonderful manager). She provided an excellent service to put our carpet. She is very professional and very experienced. She helps us to put a wonderful Sisal carpet. We are extremely happy with the service and with the great results. We don't have enough word to recommend this place!!

I was so pleased and impressed with the service we received from The Flooring Group! They were quick to respond, explained the process in detail and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Anytime I had questions, someone got right back to me and were always very friendly. Nice people to work with.

Very pleased with Hampstead Flooring. Worked with Liam and he was a tremendous help, knowledgeable and very patient when I was trying to pick out carpeting. He was very willing to point out variations in different carpeting and pointed me in the right direction. The carpet fitters were excellent as well. If you wish to have things done right the first time, look fantastic and at a competitive price, there is no reason to look elsewhere.

The work was fine but two different employees of this company insisted on addressing only my husband in emails sent to both me and my husband - even when they were replying to a query from me. I guess they assumed he was paying for the work so he was the one they had to be polite to (not true in this instance, and shouldn't make a difference anyway). Just weird and rubbed me up the wrong way.

ETA the surname you have for me is Jones, you did the work this week. Not sure what you are hoping to achieve by implying that I am lying - it would be a weird thing to make up.

Great service. Liam was helpful from start to finish. The job was completed within a week of ordering. Even for a small job, he was enthusiastic and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the work is great and we're really pleased.

Work carried out on time and all to a standard expected. Very happy with the carpet and accessories supplied. Advice in the shop was helpful and fitter did an excellent job.

I have no hesitation in recommending Knightsbridge Flooring Company 100%. Mike supplied and fitted a parquet floor in our living room. From the very first meeting, he turned up exactly on time, did a fantastic job and could not have been more helpful during the process.

These guys did a great job. They removed old carpet and underlay from all 3 bedrooms, landing and stairs. Replaced all underlay, rods and lay new carpet with bars to all doorways. Very happy with work carried out.

Delighted with the standard of work. The Karndean flooring looks great. These guys are very professional and easy to deal with. Would recommend and use again. Reasonably priced too.
