I really have to say this company is…
I really have to say this company is very helpful and after some mixed reviews I decided to take the plunge.
I was very interested in a few properties available on their website and although I was moving down from Glasgow at the time they managed to arrange appointments for me on the day of my arrival into Heathrow. All I had to do was inform them of my availability and although I was sent to a few different locations I really did not mind as I got the best property I could find at the time (for me) in Central London.
Although I was not a 'place finder' member very long, I will definitely be joining again once I need a property again. Comparing these guys to the few similar agencies nearby (I signed up for a couple) the 'place finder' properties were local landlords who had tenancy agreements ready for me to move as opposed to other supposed landlords who were asking for a £100 payment just to process my application as well as credit checks etc.
Thank you for sending me to the nice properties, even though I requested them at such short notice specifically by text and email.
My advise is, if you want to live somewhere decently and cheaply just keep an eye on the 'place finder'. Its awful when I think now of the time I wasted looking at other agency websites day after day. I didn't even bother to continue viewing places with other agencies as the 'place finder' helped me to open my eyes.
The propertyfinder absolutely fake and…
The propertyfinder absolutely fake and fraud. They told me pay first. I paid £79. Whenever I call them they don't pick up the phone and said leave voice msg, then I left voicemail about i am available for viewing. They even don't replied or get in touch. They didn't help me to find property. They just steal people's money. I asked them refund me because they never showed me any property, still they didn't reply me at all. I suggest never use this the property finder website ever. If you use them you will lost your money.
I after seeing many ads for flats I was…
I after seeing many ads for flats I was interested in, also I have only two weeks to find a flat. I thought by paying and calling them before 12am I could get many viewings for flats I wouldn't have to pay a fee for. After calling the first morning they say they would text viewings within two hours but four hours after still nothing. I had a mobile phone number too and the person is texting back but without giving me viewings. I find myself having paid but lost a day off to search for flats and having to do the search by myself. Never never never use their services is my recommendation.
I wish I had done my research better…
I wish I had done my research better before paying The Placefinder any upfront fee for a very bad user experience. They do not reply to messages. And when the phone is answered they speak to you like you are a burden. I was promised a refund, I hope they do the right thing and refund me my money.
I was looking for a housing benefit…
I was looking for a housing benefit room around the New Year and these guys managed to find me one within days - Thanks again!!
.
obvious scam.......
This company is asking for a upfront fee to find a property and no business address. Basically if you have half brain then alarm bells should be ringing. Do not pay up front fees and if you do expect to lose your money. I tried calling them no answer if they do they ask you to fill in online form which asks to pay a fee. You will lose your money so don’t bother. I didn’t pay because I know it looks like a money making scam and it is.
I paid placefinder before viewing flat…
I paid placefinder before viewing flat which was small compared to big as said by agent, they do not answer calls or respond to emails quick enough I do not have time for reviews but anyone reading this do not go to placefinder bad company and you can find place without paying the worst company i have dealt with in years they dnt even deserve a star.
The Placefinder service was very…
The Placefinder service was very helpful in finding the flat I wanted. It lessened the hassle of searching through ads and organizing viewings. On days I was free to look, I simply let them know my hours of availability and they let me know by text the flats I could view. Worked out well for me, was worth their price.
Stay away! Go to Rightmove!
This is just a joke! I've tried calling for 2 days now, and no answer!! You have to call on the day for viewings that evening, and if he doesn't answer you're screwed!
This is a scam! You have to subscribe and pay up front! Left many messages and he has never gotten back to me either!
Stay away ! This is SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!…
There is not such a company and an office or even a real phone number. The phone number is a virtual one!
This is a total scam run by a scammer! All the information, texts or emails you receive for viewing are just taken from a subscription list from other rental agencies. The guy behind the scam just copy-paste the information and almost all of them are not based on your search criteria. If you call him first, he will ask you to subscribe first! But that is the trick ! because you never get anything reliable. He just tries to keep you busy with expired and false information until you are exhausted and forget about your money! He always gets backs to you with another stolen address to keep you quiet. The business is not legitimate and none of the legit agencies knows the guy and doesn't even want to have any connection with the guy. he uses fake names to introduce himself. I don't even think he is a British citizen!
He promised to refund the payment after a few days when he saw I am persistent. However, he didn't refund the payment. My advice, subscribing to the website is equal to throwing your money into rubbish bin because you don't receive anything for that Don't pay the fee because he got nothing to provide This is SCAM! Don't bother yourself to even think about the veracity of the website or you lose your money! I am taking legal action against him in a few days as soon as I find some time to go to the police station!
He thinks he is clever! What he doesn't know is that when the time comes, he will get caught and sentenced for his crime. Soon will be his turn!
My expectations were wrong....
Since my first review place finder did send me to a viewing. I have not found anything yet but they explained that I need to call them every morning, no later than 12, and then they send me to viewings. They don't call you or send you properties that fit your criteria which is what I was expecting when I paid. Maybe I was expecting a lot because I had to sacrifice a lot to pay the fee.
