They lost my order and then asked for a "small fee" of £15 to send me another. Absolute scam.

Crap quality. Better used for fire kindling than as a gift. Completely different finishes than what's shown in advertising photo. Classic Chinese bait-and-switch. Tried to return but they didn't honor their own refund policy. Scammers.

UPDATE: I successfully disputed the credit card charge with Amex and received my payment back. I suggest trying the same if you’re dissatisfied. Put a side-by-side picture up of the advertised goods and what you received. Enumerate each area of dissimilarity and inferior quality. Show proof of requesting a refund of the merchant and having articulated the dissimilarities. Also provide a copy of refund policy from their website where you’re eligible to get funds back if unhappy. Those three items are what I provided. After a few rounds of back-and-forth with Amex, I won. It’s only $40-something returned to me, but F this merchant! It was worth it. :)

Scam!!! Never received and never refunded

Hi so I ordered my product from them on the 8th of December didn’t look at the reviews I saw it a thought it would be a fantastic present for my partner then looked and the reviews and started to worry but I can tell you now there is nothing to worry about yes it felt like ages but I got it and it’s perfect nothing wrong with it what so ever so I would like to thank you very much because me and my partner love it

Not made in US, comes straight from China. Poor customer service. The shipping is horrible, takes forever even with upgraded shipping.

Avoid like the plague. Awful quality and writing wonky. Hearts don’t even look like hearts and bears don’t fit together correctly. Do not use.

It's a scam. Don't order. You aren't sent an email confirmation which means you don't get an order number so no way of logging in to cancel. You also can't contact them.

If you expect the same high-quality results this "company" advertises, run! Don't walk, RUN! This company is a bait-and-switch operation. My order confirms it. What I received was a piece of wood with splinters sticking out, the names were laser shot in, not beautifully engraved and the heart was not even shaped like one. Makezbright & Thewoodoo is the same place.

They claim to have 4.9 stars from trust pilot, obviously you cant even trust trustpilot to have their score update. My bear came with no ink in the names of the bears. There was so many splinters still on the bear that i had to sand down myself. It came from asia. NOT FROM AMERICA. Obviously there is a lie happening here and someone is stealing credentials from a company in the USA

Do not order product never came very little customer service. Ask me to ring track my own order says delivered but never came. No contact to say will resend. Too late as was suppose be Christmas present paid for and no response about a refund order on 12th November it is not 21st December

This company is total rubbish. Sent a small wooden figure with the wrong names on and when I complained they sent the same figure again with the wrong names on. The email I have for them no longer works. Have asked my creditcard Company for refund.

Further to the above. I have checked out the address given on this company's website. It is based on an address in Montana in the USA. I have spoken to the company based there and they are a bonifide wood work company. They are very upset that their details are being used in this scam.They have reported Woodoo/Makezbright to the FBI and other Scam prevention orgs. BE WARNED they are scammers!!

Has anybody had joy getting refund off bank as company do not reply to anything.
Tracking number doesn't even exist.

Text is not as it appears on the photos, I also had 2 names printed onto one bear and another bear blank. A replacement was sent but exactly the same. I am now being ignored as I mentioned a refund. Total rip off and the quality of the actual product and finish is really not good. Certainly not something you would want to display even if the names were correct. They display a photo of the staff as if it’s a local business handcrafting, the product is clearly digitally cut and printed and also comes from china when you get the tracking information. Don’t give these thieves your money.

Don’t understand all the nasty reviews. Yes the wait time was a while as it had to come from abroad but the engraving was spot on and the wood was obviously cheap quality pine but definitely not chipboard as some reviews say

You keep sending emails on offers from you, but do not reply my email.
I have been trying to contact you so many times, but I haven’t got any response.
I have not received my packed, but can see that the money is withdrawed.
I have written to the emails which is written in PayPal transaction twice and than through the contact formula on your website. But gave still it heard from you. I was looking forward to receive my bear family.

Absolute garbage product. Nothing like the wood advertised. Like chipboard. Product arrived damaged and names incorrect. Still waiting for a refund after months. Avoid at all costs.

I have been waiting over a month and was told my product had the wrong address. The address was right.I have emailed several times over 4 weeks to be told they are still looking into it. It’s a complete Scam!!!!!!!

Ordered in October. Still haven’t received my order. Contacted the company several times regarding my order but heard nothing back. I have a feeling this company is a scam. Very disappointing.
