I have been part of Tutorfair as a French tutor for six months, and it has been a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. After teaching French language at the school and university levels, I wanted to work with an agency that was both very well run and dedicated to a worthy cause, and I have found one in Tutorfair. As a tutor, being part of the sleek and very well organized Tutorfair platform has enabled me to effectively connect with current and potential clients and have effortless control over scheduling, class planning and payments. In addition, supported by a whole team of educational consultants and support staff, whenever issues arise, they are solved quickly and efficiently.

As well as providing an excellent web platform, Tutorfair organizes training days to provide a wealth of experience to its tutors and get them connected to the Tutorfair Foundation, which allowed me to volunteer in two academies in central London. It was extremely rewarding to be offered the opportunity to provide tutoring free of charge to children who need it most, and to observe the transformation that just that little bit of one-on-one tutoring can have. We can have a real positive impact on these children’s’ learning and development and I look forward to continuing to work through the Tutorfair Foundation to make this a reality.

TutorFair has allowed me to tutor in a safer more vetted way than GumTree. Since you are vetted and the clients are as well, one worries less about scams and issues with clients. They totally earn their percentage with quick replies and attentive staff that want you to book and flourish in your work. They always pay on time and keep it all easily organised for you, so you can safely report for taxes. Plus, an easy to use profile to book appointments and refer future clients to. I have recommended them numerous times to my fellow colleagues. Truly a stellar company.

Tutorfair is really easy to use and makes the whole process of matching a student with the best tutor for them super easy. The ability to browse through hundreds of tutors, chat with your favourites straight away and then make arrangements for lessons directly, massively improves the chances of making a perfect match first time and hence saves a lot of money and time!

The personal approach adopted by the team at Tutorfair, shows that they not only value their employees but they are keen to encourage tutors to share ideas and network. Through their management of such events everyone is included and unconventional friendships are formed. Much of my Tutorfair experience has been extremely positive and I believe I have learned a lot more about the tutoring world. I wish them all the very best.

TutorFair have been extremely helpful every step of the way with creating my online tutoring profile with their service, from creating a 30 second video to advertise me as a tutor from my profile, to swiftly responding to my service queries. They are a fresh, dynamic company, and the opportunities for career advancement as an independent tutor are great with them! I have recently completed over 20 hours of lessons with them and now pay less commission, which was already far less than most traditional tutoring agencies.

Our experience of Tutorfair has been completely positive. We are lucky that we are able to make this investment in our daughter's maths education and she has benefited in terms of skills and confidence. Bought two chess lessons; tutor was fantastic - kind and accommodating. Website was easy to use and also had very helpful interaction with those working at tutor fair. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

It was easy for me to find the tutors I required using Tutorfair . I could easily find someone who is local and check whether they have been actively looking for students recently. Some of the tutor profiles included videos which really helped me choose the right person for my daughter. The booking system was easy to use and its been the most satisfying online system I've used so far.
Its great that Tutorfair don't take a big cut out of the Tutors fee.

I am a tutor and have been using tutorfair as a 'broker' for the past year. I always find the staff friendly, helpful and extremely responsive to both their tutors and clients, especially the on-line chat help feature. They have helped keep me safe from bogus clients and I have full confidence they root out bogus tutors too.

Tutorfair beautifully balances the way that they care for both customers and tutors. As a tutor I feel very supported: I know that I can contact Tutorfair at any time if I have questions; I have found their training very useful; and the monthly socials are a great space to bounce ideas of fellow tutors.
Whenever I have any contact with a member of the Tutorfair team they are extremely friendly and professional. My feedback is always taken seriously and having seen how the tutor interface has evolved I know that Tutorfair are constantly trying to improve the experience for tutors and customers. The transparency that Tutorfair has with regards to commissions is very refreshing and definitely makes me feel respected, especially when I know that a portion goes towards the charity which I think is a great cause.

I've been with Tutorfair for around 6 months, now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Setting up my profile, in the beginning, was nice and straightforward, and I felt that any questions I asked were answered quickly and fully. Finding clients, in the beginning, was also very straightforward.

Despite not needing any face-to-face assistance so far, it's been very reassuring to always run things via the kind people at Tutorfair HQ. As lessons are always booked online, through their website or app, you know that you'll always be paid in full, on time. The online interfaces are both extremely user friendly, making setting up lessons, chatting with clients, and keeping my profile up-to-date a breeze.

I also enjoy the charitable ethos; it's nice to know that for each lesson fully paid for, hopefully another child will get a 'free' lesson! Same with regards to the volunteering; I appreciate having the options to undertake charity work, particularly in fields and subjects close to my heart.

I'd gladly recommend Tutorfair to other tutors (new or experienced) and certainly to parents looking for a tutor.

From a tutor's perspective, Tutorfair has provided me with an excellent platform to discover and work with students who are a great fit for my experience and skillset. I highly value the work they do in both qualifying and matching tutors with students, and it really does simplify the process at both ends.

On a personal note, Tutorfair has also gone above and beyond my expectations regarding training, feedback and the community. From the start, I could see the passion the team have for education and I have been personally contacted on several occasions and asked for feedback. These personal touches go a long way.

Finally, it is their attention to detail which makes a real difference. For example, incorporating a system which enables a tutor to be able to review their session with a pupil immediately after, is fantastic. Not to mention countless other tools and resources they provide.
