I visited the shop today
I visited the shop today and the customer service I received was of a high level . I purchased 2 pairs of trail trainers and I was paying for one pair with a gift voucher . The shop had experienced a fault on their tills and I couldn’t pay at the time as it wasn’t being read by the computers . The staff there were helpful and put my shoes aside and I returned later to try agin and bingo it worked . I have rated this shop and their hard working staff with 5 stars

Good Service
I went into store looking for a ruck sack for my very petite 15year old daughter. Malcom, the store manager, served us and he had a good understanding of DofE and what my daughter would need. He took his time and from his very limited stock managed to find a good fit for my daughter.

Victorinox mini penknife
Needed to buy replacement mini penknife for my key ring. Staff very helpful and willing to open locked cabinet to show me the penknife. We did have a little bit discussion as to colour - was it black or a really dark blue. My previous penknife was a lighter blue - hence the discussion.

Bought trousers in shop
Bought trousers in shop did not have so staff helped buy on line, paid money when I got home had recipe by e mail thanking me for custom . Then had email canceling order, and telling me that I had to go back to shop to get my money back.

Long overdue review…
I had a last minute panic getting my daughter ready for cub camp when I realised the backpack we had was too small to fit everything in. The Manager gave me so much help with finding the correct sized bag and even helped to pack all the packing cubes and sleeping bag into the new back pack. I was very grateful for the help that I received as I had no time left to get the job done. The manager was very kind and for anything else outdoors I need I’ll be going back to this shop.
