I appreciate that Win XP is an old system but I have a laptop from Valu-U-computers that runs Mozilla and Google so when I saw their advert for a Dell XP laptop with (I quote) 'Internet Connection' I assumed it would have a connection. It didn't. Internet explorer 6 is defunct, as is MSN. Therefore I have a blind machine, which the company must have known about. I called the contact line. The gentleman who answered said he would send me a memory stick which would arrive mid week. It didn't. I waited for today's post and am now returning the machine. I suspect I am past the return date but I would expect a refund and postage as the company must have known the machine was not fit for purpose.

I bought a XP game machine to play my old pc games.
I had a small problem setting it up but that was very quickly resolved by the very helpful people at Val-U.

The laptop arrived as per our order within a week. No issues.

If looking for particular features in a reconditioned pc, in my case a windows 11 laptop with DVD drive and at least 2 USB ports, Val-U-Computers, are as far as I could see, simply the only suppliers out there who give a clear and detailed list of what they have that actually fit my criteria.
I phoned twice with questions, each time, the call was answered promptly by someone who clearly cared about my calls and was patient and polite, whilst informal and honest, not pretending to know the answers to questions he wasn’t sure about, but eager to seek the answer or point me in the right direction.
My laptop arrived as scheduled and exactly as described on the website.
Val-U-Computers are a breath of fresh air in these globally digitised times we live in. I got the impression that they are a small number of very nice and competent people who just want to do a good job and deliver a decent service to their customers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It is grade A as stated arrived in the set time,only one downside,paperwork said comes with restore disk,which was not included,does not effect me as I have an XP installation disk,but it could effect someone if things go wrong

I am expecting a reliable device. the laptop arrived with a cracked screen and malfunctioning keyboard. The product description claimed it was in excellent condition, but this was far from the truth. Very disappointed with the purchase.

Pleased with laptop, arrived promptly. Too early to judge reliability. Only issue was lack of promised back up disk, a phone call resolved this and received this a few days later
