I felt I should leave a positive review as after reading the negative ones as I have been pleasantly surprised given the circumstances ..... Wetheralds completed our conservatory insulation and tiling work 5 years ago and this was done to our satisfaction but recently we have been plagued by leaks during very heavy rain. It appeared that the water ingress was occurring via a sloped party wall the contour of which our roof follows. I made contact with Mike Green , the Wetheralds surveyor who sold us the new insulated roof and was very concerned to hear from him that Wetheralds would not be able to carry out repairs due to business having folded / covid 19 ramifications etc etc .. He told me that he had lost his job as a result of all these issues and recommended I fall back on the 10 year Consumer Protection Association warranty. I did however decide to make contact with Mark Pavis the proprietor of Wetheralds Insulated Conservatory Roof Systems and to found him both helpful and responsive .. It was arranged that Danny would drive the 300 miles from Yorkshire to Dorset with a view to rectifying the leaks .. He arrived on time and set about repairs which took some 3 hours .. So far these seem to have been successful. To summarise .. I can fully understand the adverse impact that Corona Virus has had on Wetheralds as a business and much appreciate the willingness to undertake a necessary roof repair involving a 600 mile round trip 5 years after the original work was completed. I have to speak as I find ... Thanks

Like all the other poor reviews on this website, we also paid in good faith and it now seems have lost nearly £5,000 in a deposit for 2 conservatory roofs before lockdown. Company out of the blue goes into 'voluntary liquidation' and despite filling in all the various forms heard nothing further back from the administrators. I just don't understand how they can then trade again and steal all this money from customers. Are these positive reviews real? I would suggest AVOID this company at all costs. Bizarre to have to give 1 star as obviously zero is the only accurate rating.

THANKFULLY NU-LOOK stepped in and did a superb job but we are still out of pocket.
We would be very very happy to have our deposit that you took at the end of March refunded... as you delivered nothing for this at all ...just grief!

Well done to Wetheralds in installing our new Conservatory roof. We researched various options/companies, and Wetheralds came out on top for initial service and quality of product as well as a price in our bracket.
The installation was done exactly on time and luckily we were blessed with good weather. The installation team of two fitters worked solidly for three days, early morning to mid/late afternoon without a break. We were very impressed with their work and the finished product was to our satisfaction. The team left completely tidying up around the site. There were a couple of minor items needing looking at, but Steph in the office dealt with these very quickly, with a fitting team returning within in a day.
A job well done and we are satisfied.

Mark and Shaun went above and beyond to ensure that we had a first class job - they were polite, helpful, very tidy and hardwrking. The end result has met all our expectations and we would certainly recommend Wetheralds to anyone considering replacing their conservatory roof. What a genuine pleasing company Wetheralds are! From Mark, Paul, Steph, Sean & Mark, we can't fault the way we've been looked after from beginning to the lovely finished job. Excellent service. We got solid conservatory roof installed by them. Two workers did the job and no mess. Done very efficiently. Even worked when it rained and they put a gazebo out to cut wood etc. I recommend them highly.

Great communication throughout the whole process from initial visit to completion. The men had some awful weather to work through but they carried on and completed the job to a high standard in the allocated time.
Everywhere cleaned as best they could before leaving.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Weatheralds.

We were very impressed from start to finish as the weather was a challenge the week we had it done. The fitters turned up at 7.45 am and began immediately and worked extremely hard throughout the day and this was repeated on the second day of installation. Full credit to all fitters for the amount of work involved. The plasterer arrived on the third day and completed his work also to the same high standard. We would highly recommend Weatheralds.

Like others who have posted recently I have been scammed out of over £3000. Thinking I was dealing with Wetheralds Insulated Conservatory Roof Systems I was visited by Regional Surveyor Mike Green who priced up the job and phoned through so I could pay a deposit to their office. I was told that I was 5th or 6th in line and the job would be completed in 6-8 weeks. Turns out that the money was funnelled into Wetheralds South East and within a matter of weeks this company (and Wetheralds South West) had gone into liquidation. A million pounds in debt and deposits taken from 156 people. To add insult to injury the Director of all these companies, Mark Pavis, announced he was starting straight up again with another company, Wetheralds Sherburn Ltd. I would urge everyone to avoid these companies like the plague. Mr Pavis is a serial liquidator and has no qualms about taking money under false pretences and then walking away from his responsibilities.

We had been dreaming of converting our very large conservatory roof for years but decided this was the time to act. Several companies visited and gave advice and quotes. Although Wetheralds wasn’t the cheapest quote we’d had, we did immediately feel that they were experts, as they answered all our questions with deep knowledge and understanding. There were enough options for us to really tailor our roof to the rest of our house.
The builders were dedicated hard workers, polite and respectful. Although we were out at work at the same time they were working, we felt safe in the knowledge that they were doing a great job. Despite a slight delay in getting a skip delivered (not their fault), everything was left tidy, exactly as it was before any work.
We have just finished decorating the room and its fair to say we are over the moon, it feels like a brand new room.
The admin team have kept us informed every step of the way and took away any nervousness, thank you for that.
I have no problems recommending Wetheralds to others.

We had our conservatory roof conversion three weeks ago and we're absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The workmanship and professionalism of the lads on site were absolutely first class and we would recommend Wetheralds without any hesitation.

Very pleased with the roof and the work carried out, however we have found out that they have not paid the council for the building regs documents and the council is now threatening action and stating that the new roof is not legal unless they are paid. Wetharalds please sort this out!

Just to repeat we have been very pleased with the work carried out.

Wetheralds were recommended by a friend who spoke very highly of them. We decided to have a proper roof fitted to our garden room and report that we also had a very positive experience. The communications both pre and post the roof being fitted was outstanding. The work was completed to a high standard on time and on budget. The workmen who completed the job were skilled and professional and lovely to have around for the week they were with us. All our friends and neighbours have commented on how lovely the roof looks and we are very pleased. We would highly recommend this company.

Work on the roof was scheduled before the lockdown with an internal door being fitted first. As soon as it was safe to do so, the team arrived to do the job in the reverse sequence, but it was not their fault.

The conservatory is quite large and has many different angles, but that was not a problem for the two-man team. Everything was completed within the time allocated and, to my untrained eye, to a high standard.

This is the second roof installation done for us by Wetheralds and both have worked out very well. We have yet to see how the winter months are in the new house but, if the old house is a guide, it should prove to be a good room to use in comfort all year round.

A job well done! Would recommend. Excellent service throughout.

I am highly delighted with my new conservatory solid roof that Wetheralds fitted for me. The whole process from start to Finnish only took four and a bit days and the workmanship throughout is excellent. Very friendly staff from the surveyor to the receptionist and the workmen who did the job, all were very kind and helpful to me. I would certainly recommend Wetheralds to anyone who is looking for a new solid conservatory roof.

We have received great service from Wetheralds. We had our survey for a conservatory roof, paid our deposit & Wetheralds took it from there. After their communication with our local Council it was found we had a planning issue we were not aware of. After much consideration we decided we needed to sort this out before proceeding so cancelled our order. Wetheralds were very understanding & refunded our deposit in full. We dealt with Steph whose customer service skills are 2nd to none. If we decide to have the work done in future, we will not hesitate to go back to Wetheralds.

I would have put zero if possible.
Absolutely disgusting company!!
Took a deposit of £2,256.00 in March 2020 off of us as a deposit to create a new roof in April. Never happened!
Almost a million pounds in debt and in my opinion should not have even been trading!! Total rip off as above!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

The only problem I have on this is giving any star. This company has just ripped me off and I have lost almost £5000. The documentation I have been sent states that they owe close to £1,000,000 with virtually no assets. I have been told that no creditors are likely to receive any money back. To see them still trading is really frustrating.
Please, please use another company so you too are not in my situation.
