While you wait repairs is a a scam! Contacted to fix an IPad 11 Pro to fix a screen Paid 190 pounds to fix. They wanted a day ahead. I like something that is not marked or cracked. That is the only reason I had it fixed. They replaced the creek but dent the whole IPad . Looks like they used a sledgehammer. Then they overcharged because they did not credit me the deputies paid the day before. What a huge mistake. Don’t go there! So, I never seen a company flat out lie to PayPal. They said I never said a word. So, I sent PayPal a copy of my complaint and they responded. Definitely do not go there!

I would highly recommend these guys..fast and reliable, affordable and very professional. I got my Samsing screen fixed and within 10 minutes.

Absolutely brilliant service. These guys had my iPhone 11pro max fixed in less than half an hour and for considerably less than any rival service.

The guys were really helpful and even told me where I could get free parking.

I’m not local to the area but was heading to ikea and made the extra trip. It was definitely worth it. There is parking on the high street and they even fitted a screen protector on for me for free!

I have had two Samsung phones repaired at While You Wait Repairs, the first a few years ago being a shattered screen replacement and then in May 2021 a new battery in the second handset. The service was very fast on both occasions and the prices much lower than anywhere else (I did a lot of online research). My phones are like "brand new" again.
I live in Brixton and travelled to the shop in Golders Green as in doing so I saved in excess of £80. The shop itself is bright and airy with a seating area, useful if you do wait especially if it pours with rain as when I was there.
I recommend you book a timed slot on their very user friendly website (where most costs are displayed); you will receive informative confirmation messages with directions.
I will definitely use this business again should the need arise and recommend others do too.

Excellent service. Following a recent repair I returned to While You Wait. The issue was rectified, without charge speedily and professionally.

I am happy with the service I received! I came with broken screen iPhone XS Max, it was repaired in 15 minutes, they did a neat job. The guy was very humorous and nice, I liked him, good bloke! Gave me trade negotiating tips as well, haha, appreciate that! :D

PS. Lots of people are expecting original screen for this price, quick reality check - for original parts you should go to Apple and pay their high price. I am happy with my replacement and my OCD is satisfied with not having cracks on the screen.

I had accidentally broken my ipad screen and took it while you wait repairs. They went ahead fixed the glass but when I got home I started using and noticed my ipad home button was not working. I took it back and they said would repair the home button. again when I pressed the home button next a black strip went through the screen. i called them again the assistant was very unpleasant on the phone. he accused me breaking my screen refused give my money back. i had take it to get fixed and pay more.
i was advised tge screen was damaged when whilst you wait put it on. if you got problems with ipads phones please dont use this company as they they cause more damage and wouldn't ever go near them again.

I needed screen replaced on my iPhone 11 pro max .good value quote.I was able to make a timed appointment .I also asked for screen protectors whilst in shop for good value price. Everything sorted out whilst we walked to a famous pub and enjoyed a good lunch to then return and all done. Friendly and professional service. I recommend .

Wish I could give 0 stars, this is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Smashed my phone screen and when I couldn't get a Genius bar appointment I took my phone into While You Wait Repairs. The screen was initially fixed however felt grainy and soon the screen started sticking and stopping working entirely. I took it back in to be told the screen has stopped working because it was only 'compatible' and not a 'genuine screen'. I asked if they could get me a genuine screen, which they told me they could for a total of £340 (more expensive than apple!) When this screen was put in the phone worked fine for 3/4 days and then it started to deteriorate quickly, and when it stopped working totally I had to take it into Apple who after running diagnostics told me the screen wasn't genuine. After discussing this with While You Wait they promised me a refund as they couldnt fix my phone, that was on 1/11/2020 and I'm still waiting for a £300 refund from them. After contacting Peter multiple times, I'm £640 out of pocket and have taken this to the small claims court in the hope to get something back. Moral of the story, JUST GO TO APPLE.

The gentlemen at the store was absolutely brilliant. He does an excellent job, and with a smile.
He worked on my phone for a while until it was perfect and everything was working.

Customer service was ace!
Fixing skills cannot be matched! He is quick and does a perfect job!

I would definitely recommend and come back if i needed. Wouldn't go elsewhere!!

Phone screen was shattered, so we took into the store to fix. We were provided with a fake screen, even though we were told it was a compatible screen. It immediately broke the phone, so we had to go in again and when we were told it was a genuine Iphone screen, we took it into Apple who ran diagnostics confirming it wasn't.

They confirmed we would get a refund for this service, and now we have heard absolutely nothing back. The customer service has been SO bad that we've had to take this up legally - As we were eligible for a refund.

Would not recommend this to ANYONE.

Please don't repair anything valuable here unless you want:
1) quick but low quality service
2) poor replacement parts that will mean your phone is never the same again nor do they last

I've learnt this hard lesson: "Cheap Man Pays Twice".
You can look Melanie's and others previous reviews on this as well as many others that share the same inevitable experience.

I had a screen for two and a half years which I took in to them for repair since they were the fastest.

That screen then died in only a week and it certainly wasn't my fault (my screen never died in 130+ weeks before but it died within a week with their new screen...). They then replaced the failed screen with another one that had yellow stains (very poor quality). Now I just wonder when this one will fail. Asking them to fix it again is futile and the screen will inevitably fail again.

I asked for about the stains and for a refund for this service (to return the screen, even the phone) but was instead blocked from communication.

Next time do yourself a favour and use authorised repairers since a cheap man pays twice.

I had a problem with the battery of my Sony Z3. Initially, after a full charge the battery would indicate about 75% of charge remaining and then power off. It would only restart by connecting it to a power source. I knew this to be a battery issue.
I checked out the online repair cost and took it to this company the next day. They installed a new battery and charged me £30. The phone worked but I noticed after about 2 months or so that the phone was getting excessively hot after about 10mins of use and then started rebooting. I then noticed that the screen became discoloured in a couple of places, due to the heat. I found out that the repair warranty was only one month so I could not take it back.
I decided to open the phone and check the battery. It was not an authentic Sony battery, it was smaller both in length and width. Unlike authentic Sony batteries (which has a black band which protects the PCB and attaches it to the battery securely), the PCB board from the battery that attaches via ribbon cable to the motherboard did not have any protection and was attached to the battery by nothing other than a couple of solder spots with all component parts visible. A cheap substitute!
I eventually purchased a new Sony battery and installed it myself. I haven't had a problem since.
In summary, the battery used was obviously cheap and low grade and proved unreliable and caused further problems. This company may offer a quick turn around but that’s about all that can be said. There are many mobile phone repair companies that offer warranties from 3 months to a year, as highlighted by other users in these reviews. This company is cheap for a reason and a one month guarantee and the use of cheap low grade components says it all.

Physically took my iPhone XR to the shop in Golders Green to replace my screen. The phone was ready in under 10 minutes and the new screen works perfectly (had it for 3 days so far). Although the shop keeper did mention I might notice a very slight difference in colour vs the original, I can't tell the difference at all. The cost was GBP 85, other shops ranged from 100-160.
