I would like to share my disappointing experience with A1 Clutches. I took my car in as requested for a test drive to help diagnose a fault. The person who attended to me had such a negative attitude towards me as a customer. The manner in which I was treated was extremely unpleasant. This was followed by having my keys hurled at me, which luckily missed. It's strange how the CCTV footage was not available for this incident.

The owner's behaviour was completely unacceptable. The whole experience really shook me up, and it is paramount that this is shared on such a platform. I strongly recommend reading the reviews about this company and how Amrik Singh has previously treated other customers before considering using their services. As the owner of a business, you should be leading by example.

I strongly advise everyone to read reviews across all platforms to ensure you gain a clear understanding of how this company has acted towards its customers.

Called in to Derby A1 clutches couple of weeks ago as having issues with clutch pedal not returning and thought probably master cylinder which the fitter agreed with and i was given a competitive quote.
Booked in for new cylinder and although the job took much longer than they expected Tony the manager honoured the quoted price which was extremely appreciated.
Both Tony and the mechanic who did the job were very friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending A1 clutches and will use them in the future

Had been quoted twice as much anywhere else that would take a semi-automatic for a clutch replacement. They got the job done two days after I called and managed to fix it perfectly! Even has a 2year or 18000mile warranty included which is amazing for the price. Lovely experience and would definitely go again if I ever needed something for my car.

I Took my mitsubishi asx in for a new clutch it's was a Decent price the very friendly and helpful service.Got me in for the work when I asked for it to be done so very happy and 💯% would use and recommend A1 clutches.

Managed to locate the parts for my 1.6 Honda which included the Dual Mass Flywheel, something that other reputable clutch replacement companies struggled with without going to the main dealer for parts. Day to drop off agreed and work carried out promptly to high standard with a phone call to say when completed. Warranty explained well and nice to chat to the manager of the branch (Tony) when collecting who had obvious experience in clutches and enjoyed his job. Highly recommended place that lives up to its reputation.

Had a few vechicles done here extremely happy with the service my wifes car clutch completely and a1 collected the car repaired it and keeped me informed of all the work I highly recommend them and the turn around time is fantastic thank you

I'll start by saying how much of an amazing garage this is. Not only they booked my car in the next day after I called (other garages had a waiting time of at least a couple of weeks), they immediately identified the issue and were honest about it and the price. My car needed a new clutch and DMF and the gearbox was also leaking oil. They fixed it in a matter of days; driving it feels like driving a new car. All for a very good price considering how big of a job this was.
I would like to thank Tony and his team, they are great lads and I would recommend this garage to absolutely anyone.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Had my Audi picked up and was fixed in a day and a half. I was told exactly what was wrong with it and what was changed. Big shout out to Steve and Marni.

My clutch gave up on me 2 days before my holiday for my girlfriends birthday and with no way of getting there due to my car’s clutch smoking out I thought I had no chance of getting there, but I got recommend to A1 clutches and was amazed by how quick he got me in and identified the problem, he wanted to make sure I made it to Wales! Even offered me the chance to bring it back within 2 years if I had any troubles with it, which was a nice touch! Will definitely bringing it back to A1 Clutches if needs be!

Great first experience taking may car to A1 Clutches in Derby. Rang up and within 48 hours my car had been fixed with a new clutch. Would highly recommend and would definitely return to the team there should the car have any other problems occur in the future! The manager felt really trusting and I didn’t feel like I was being sold a dream! Thank you A1 team!

Great experience with Steve and Marni yesterday. Good, honest and straightforward people to deal with, and £150 cheaper than my local garage. There was a small issue with the wrong part being delivered, but that was out of their control and was quickly sorted. To be honest, there isn't any reason to go anywhere else. Well done to everyone at the Bradford Street branch in Birmingham.

After a quick google search I discovered A1 clutches (Birmingham) who answered my call promptly and we arranged for my car to be dropped off for a last minute clutch repair.

I was tight on time as I was going away for work on the weekend and needed my car back in less than a day.

They offered expert advice not only on the telephone but upon drop off as well as upon collection. They had discovered a few extra bits that also needed changing, so sent me a video and called me to discuss my options before proceeding.

Honestly one of the best garages I have visited, good at listening, explaining and most of all - a friendly service and stuck to promises (timing).

Would not hesitate to take my vehicle to A1 Clutches, they had my husbands T5 in on the 18th February for a Dual mass fly wheel clutch replacement and I was kept informed every step. Suki was amazing and we couldn’t be happier.
A1 Clutches are very reasonably priced also, 5 star to this company and we will be using them again.

Very nice, humble and experienced people. They know their job, capable of completing the service in a decent time with a fair cost. The guys take the time to explain everything professionally. Honestly not many garages that does that.

Marni and Steve fronted an excellent facility that replaced my clutch at short notice and completed the job in a day. Recommended.

Really great team. When I couldn't get my classic gearbox repaired they not only rebuilt it for me but then also fitted it very professionally for a very reasonable price. If ever I need work like this again I'm going here.

As what I thought would be just a simple Clutch issue turned out to be the Dual Mass Fly Wheel also. Now with most garages you would think they are trying to deepen there pockets but not with A1 Clutches. Video evidence showing and explaining the issue with the car and top class service from start to finish. You pay for what you get and that was certainly the case with A1. Thanks again to Gary who gave me the debrief on the car with advice going forward.

Received great service, booked my car for brakes and discs replacement. Given earliest appointment at 8:30 my car was done with 2hrs. Very pleasant staff explained what brand parts they used and 12 months warranty . This is my second time using them.Don’t hesitate to use them. Thanks A1 Team !

Do not hesitate to use A1 clutches, from the second I submitted an online quote to picking the car up, they were superb.
Suki needs special mention-he was personable, professional, and a top gent!
Nowhere local could do the job, the stealers wanted a fortune, and having seen A1’s set up, I was happy leaving my car in their hands-we were updated throughout the process, and the car now drives like new.
