Could be better

They have a good range of products, but the price is high. Only the deals can be interesting, but then you have to be lucky to find the product as things are sold out easily. Also, the fresh food goes bad too quickly. Especially the fruit. And it’s a real hassle to have to return products when you don’t have time to go back to the store. They count on that.

They called me mostrous names such as prostitute trash all sorts 2 employees that were willing to take my money from me in a ripped coat Karen etc. I have it all who wants to sue? Unilever is suing for the knock off products they sell!!! Disgrace. I only wanted my money back but now I guess I’m suing because I’m the Facebook chat they highlighted that I’m a terrible human being etc. for wanting an apology and money back???!!! I mean I was happy with the products not the scam… don’t shop there for real!

Like going back in time to 1980

I am sorry to say, even in 2022, reaching alsmot 2023, the payment methods in Albert Heijn, are like tavelling back in time to 1980. That's so emberrasing! You get the groceries and when you come to pay, you find out that they don't accept Visa or Mastercard. Same with online delivery, You can't just enter your card and have the order delivered. You need to wait at home with cash...

Awful experience

It was good until now. Today I was receiving an online ordered that I did. The person that was doing the delivery wrote on his terminal that I wasn't giving the previous boxes back. But I had these previous boxes to give back. So, I told him that I didn't want the deliver in this case. He went away.
Then I received a call from the customer service that told me that I have to take the package without the boxes, being charged, and on the next order we could solve it. I asked him to do it now and change the bill, he refused, and now it looks that I'm going to be charged without receive anything.

Scamming a refugee

Hey everyone! Please keep in mind that the Delivery Bundle and all this company is a scam. I cannot get rid of it for two months and they keep taking my money and ask for more. I have paid everything and have invoices, tho it does not count. They even sent my fines. It is a horrible experience and it is the worst service in my life. It’s been two months (!) of my talking to their customer support and still there’s no result. And you know, I am a refugee from Ukraine. My life is already difficult and i don’t have the extra money to waste to this supermarket.

Please keep away from this company. It is a scam.

I have been ordering for over 3 years…

I have been ordering for over 3 years at this company. And all was good until about 4 months ago. The one reason I order is because of the mozzarella they sell. I buy this as part of a dietary need that I have. Last 6 times that I ordered they claim its in stock, the website says its in stock and then about 1 or 2 hours before delivery I get an email 'Awww sorry, we don't have it.. PSYCH' ???? So naturally I get fed up with it after so many times, so after being in chat with a customer service representative, I get told that I can get 10 euro's?? For what? On my next order probably right? So I have to continue ordering stuff from you, so you can give me a fugging discount? Not the current order that is about to arrive in 30 minutes, no the NEXT order. Not to mention when I asked this ^ I was just flat out ignored for 20 minutes, when I asked if I was being ignored I got a response within 1 minute with "We are not ignoring you, its busy at the moment, my apologies." What? So I am not a priority, gotcha. I fully hear you AH. I'm done, no more orders, no more store visits, from me family, friends, acquaintances and every single random person I can find or meet.

Overpriced, bad quality, poor service

I cannot stress enough to not purchase any "fresh produce" nor any AH housebrand products EVER! My husband and I have been ill various times and we came to the horrific conclusion that it was always after consuming said products from AH. We have had rotten Meat very often and the fruit and veg is so old before it reaches the store its inedible and is toxic from pesticides. If you value your health whilst in the Netherlands, DONOT SHOP FOR FOOD ITEMS AT THE AH. Opt for fresco markets, butcheries, bakeries, fruitstalls, bio markets instead. Even go to farms or the veg and fruit growers for your greens. You can also go to German supermarkets, their foodstuff is excellent!

Extremely poor customer service and the…

Extremely poor customer service and the website does not work well on mobile phones. I have been trying to contact customer service for several hours, wasting a lot of time on calls and whatsapp, there is literally nobody available to help... seriously? If I can give a honest piece of advice then do not buy from this supermarket online as the service is extremely poor.

Never use AH Mobile

Never use AH Mobile. You will add money to account, buy bundle and take nothing. No bundle, no money, no internet, no call minutes.
This 20Eur+30Euro bonus is also a big lie. You will get only sms that you got it. But you can not use it. And after a few days, without any phone using you will get sms that you have 0 balance. Bu11sh1t! NEVER USE AH Mobile. It equals scam.

Theft and negelgance

Despite their overpriced products, they fail repeatedly at supplying adequate service, in short, avoid Albert Hijn whenever possible :
1-after breaking my tooth with a stone in AH lentils, they refuse to take responsibility for products they bring or carry the medical bills and refer me to the international supplier as it's my task to check the quality of every import.

2- despite endless delivery delays from their side and removal of products from the delivery list because they failed to hold it for you (although ordered and reserved) they have the rudeness to hit me with a 50 euros surcharge for a delivery that I didn't receive because of error in selecting the address

Worst supermarket to order items in the…

Worst supermarket to order items in the NL. They just deliver what they feel that day. Half of your order doesn’t arrive but you still pay. Every time you need to check one by one all items before you pay apparently.
Just order from Jumbo or Plus etc.

Bad Ham, high price

Bought Ham, so called Bone Ham.
Rather expensive, 30 euro a kilo.
when I got home it was the most cheap glued ham.
All small pieces clued together.
I made pictures and sent it to Customer service.
Their reaction, take it to the shop.
I used it because I needed it for diner.

The Ham was bad, the customer service worse.

Once the best supermaket in NL

Once the best supermaket in NL, completely failed, actually double failed as ultra profits are made in these times:

-smelly food/expired date is more frequent than ever
-grapes without pits are not healthy, why has God given us pits? Why not also normal grapes, so we can choose?
-no nice offers and surprises for customers like years before
-poor bread quality, stookbrood has reduced quality
-crazy priced know washing products
-some products always sold out, empty shelf, was unimaginable before - is it so difficult to provide botterham zakje?
- products that belong to garbage bin are sold out with 35% discount - thank you very much AH !!!
- Soft & Mild Griekse feta with strong sheeps/goats taste (was not like that). Poor maintenance of quality and taste.
-expensive tomato without any taste

Sneaky company

Sneaky company, do NOT use their Bezorg Bundel! I canceled it but apparently if you cancel before the last month it will automatically extend anyway. Now I need to pay 72eur for a service that I don't want. What a SCAM COMPANY.
