Air Con unit with no outside unit
Air Con unit with no outside unit. Easy to order and quickly delivered, but that's where the positives end, I'm afraid. The information regarding the the ventilation holes required has been watered down in favor of a quick and easy sale. The reality is somewhat different. It is NOT easy to drill holes into outside wall, and I would go as far as saying that it could be detrimental to your property. I struggled to get anyone to come and drill 180mm holes into my 40cm thick wall. When I called the customer service, I was passed around with people ablivious to what services they actually provide. In the end I returned the product. Do I recommended this product, not on your nelly.

Brilliant
Just bought our second electriq air on unit we got the first one for the garden room which was so hot I wasn’t expecting great things due to the low price but it works and looks perfect and it comes as a complete kit, the next big heatwave came and we got one for the house it took a little longer to come and I was worried the stock had run out so I contacted customer services who were great and apologised for the delay and it was delivered a few days after so really happy with the service and the products

Great radiator, slow delivery
The experience started badly because I paid for delivery on a specific Friday and it arrived the following Tuesday. Luckily the delivery driver left it outside and I got a refund of some of the delivery costs.
Now positives! The radiator is exactly what I wanted. It was relatively easy for a diy-er to fit to the wall. The instructions were easy to follow. All of the necessary screws and wall plugs were included so I didn't have to buy anything extra. It sticks out 10cm from the wall which is ok for my space.

AVOID AT ALL COST - HIDDEN CHARGES!
Paid £3000 pound upfront for a split A/C system. Waited few days until received a call about install where they told me I would have to source my own electrician to run power to the units. £2000 on the install alone and they can’t run a 16a isolator switch to power the unit. Also on the install pack I then found out it cost £100 per 2m for pipe trunking, something so little cost wise for it to be included they ask for it as an extra! Makes you think where does the £2000 actually go??? Immediate refund requested, will never ever ever use this company, AVOID at all cost!

Top quality service
Unit I ordered was on back order of 4 weeks and due for delivery 1st July 2026 right in the middle of the last heatwave, Aircon Direct messaged me on the day before the heatwave was due to hit 23rd June 2026 to offer to bring forward the delivery to next day. Hence I got the unit 4 days early and in time for 34c heat.
Our 2 dachshund were very pleased, great service.

Overall very good service
Firstly they had units available when no-one else did. Price was a bit steep but understandable. Delivery was excellent ordered on a Friday for an expected Monday delivery but it came on Saturday which was brilliant. The product box was open and damaged at the bottom which did concern me as no other protection but the product was complete and not damaged.

I bought this LG DualCool Pro A+ 24000…
I bought this LG DualCool Pro A+ 24000 BTU Smart Wall Mounted Split Air Conditioner with Heat Pump, and I am 100% sure that this is a fake Chinese version because I opened the outdoor unit and inside is Chinese compressor not Lg, even all components looks very cheap not similar to LG. I tried to contact them, but they don't answer. The units look different from those on their website. Stay away from this company.

Faulty £750 air conditioner, then deliberate obstruction - avoid, avoid, avoid
Aircon Direct sold me a faulty £750 portable air conditioner (10k BTU) during the hottest week of the year. Properly installed in a small office (13SQM), it ran for six hours and barely reduced the temperature from 29°C to 27°C, with weak airflow and almost no heat being expelled. Without question defective.
I supplied photographs, settings and full installation details. They then stopped responding properly and pushed me towards a paid customer-service line routed to an outsourced Indian call centre, where communication was extremely difficult and staff could not resolve anything nor speak English properly. I was repeatedly told a manager would call within 24 hours. Nobody did.
This does not feel like incompetence alone. It feels like a deliberate obstruction strategy designed to frustrate customers until they give up pursuing a refund. Truly disgusting. I have been left with a defective machine, no collection, no replacement and no refund.
The whole experience has felt scam-like: take the money, send faulty goods, then make meaningful contact almost impossible. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
