I was treated to a Mothers Day brunch by my family. I ordered the avocado and feta on sourdough. When it came, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was one slice of toast lying on its own on the... See more

Just been to All Bar One in Cheltenham…
Just been to All Bar One in Cheltenham for breakfast with my wife and two nieces.
The staff were completely uninterested in engaging with us. Chatted among themselves. They were having a coffee while setting up some decorations, I think. Totally self absorbed.
When I asked for help with the online menu they were surly and unhelpful.
It's up to you ABO what you do with this feedback but it was a perfect example of what's going wrong in our service sector. The premises and setup were great. You're being badly let down by your staff.
Disappointing Visit - Edinburgh
I visited the Edinburgh, George Street venue yesterday afternoon with work colleagues and I must say I was bitterly disappointed. Service was very poor, we had to ask 3 times to order food, when food eventually came it was average, my club sandwich was actually 3 pieces of hard bread, fatty bacon and over cooked chicken. One poor bartender serving by himself on a Saturday afternoon lead to a 30 minute wait for 2 drinks. Will not be back. 😞
All Bar One Sheffield.- Avoud
All Bar One Sheffield.
We booked a table to “dine” on line. 8.30 arrival until 10pm. Options to arrive and eat were available beyond that time.
On arrival we told a member of staff we had a table booked and they confirmed we could sit anywhere.
We took a table and proceeded to order on line.
Drink and meal booked and paid for on line using the app.
A drink arrives, then a short time later a member of staff arrives and tells us the kitchen is closed.
We explained we had booked to dine at 8.30pm and had now ordered and paid for our order.
They couldn’t explain why the system allowed you to book order and pay for food when the kitchen was closed.
(We had arrived before 8.30pm, but hey !)
Staff, while polite, were indifferent to the fact we had booked ordered and paid for something that wasn’t available
A total farce.
Avoid and eat elsewhere.
Waterloo branch
Waterloo branch, 2.30pm 2/8/22. Ordered via qr code a light lunch and a drink each (coffee & a juice). The food arrived in reasonable time. My club sandwich was so dry I couldn’t eat it and the side salad was just lettuce and a cherry tomato no dressing. Really awful. My daughter avocado toast was also really dry and tasteless. We waited and waited for the drinks (it wasn’t busy), eventually I had to go and ask for them when we had abandoned trying to eat. They arrived and I told the waitress that I knew it was not her fault but that the food was awful, she said she would speak to the kitchen but never returned. Of course we had already paid (and had added a tip!). The loos were also a mess. Really unpleasant experience for £28. Don’t bother.
All Bar One, Leicester Square….don’t order food.
We recently visited All Bar One in Leicester Square for food, we had to clear our own table and hunt someone down to clean it. It was busy there but not many people eating so why it took almost 50 minutes for our food to arrive is beyond me and when it did it was stone cold. They took it back and brought out more food which was hot this time but it was so rubbery and over processed it was inedible. On the plus side….the drinks arrived quickly and it’s a great spot for people watching, just don’t order food!!!!
The customer service at All Bar One was…
The customer service at All Bar One was sensational. Alex and Julia were amazing and attentive. The food was great as well!!! Overall, the experience was second to none.
Worst experience ever at the All bar…
Worst experience ever at the All bar one in Reading in the Oracle. White folk get served before the black folk, doesn’t matter what time you came. Disgusted by the lady in a pink ponytail. Definitely racist! If you’re black, this is not a place to go!
Much worse than it ever used to be
Much worse than it ever used to be - slow disinterested service - 40 min wait for a sandwich - not worth the effort
Frankie @ All Bar One at New Oxford…
Frankie @ All Bar One at New Oxford Street is a superstar!!!! We booked bottomless brunch and she couldn’t have been anymore attentive if she tired! So friendly and kept up us topped up the whole time. Amazing! Definitely returning! Thank you Frankie
Had a wonderful time at All bar one…
Had a wonderful time at All bar one brunch at new Oxford street, food was incredible but Frankie really made the experience, so lovely, attentive and hilarious! Would absolutely recommend!
My Wife and I visited the All Bar One…
My Wife and I visited the All Bar One in Birmingham. I ordered a pint of lager and expected to pay around £3 as it was rather a posh establishment but definitely didn't expect £5.75. If Wetherspoons operating in the same city with the same labour costs and overheads can sell beer at £2 or less a pint I don't know how £5.75 can be justified. Perhaps they should give a one litre petrol voucher with every pint.
We had Flow for our bottomless brunch
We had Flow for our bottomless brunch, she was so attentive and made our day !
Bottomless brunch
We came here for bottomless brunch. Ebony our waitress was lovely and attentive. Drinks were flowing and the food was really good. We will be coming back.
What has happened to All Bar One?
What has happened to All Bar One!
I visited Butlers Wharf today, my first post-covid visit and what a disappointment!!
The new outdoor seating looks pretty but is really uncomfortable, there is no discernible table service (scanning a barcode is a challenge with no wifi, and accessing their wifi is another obstacle!). The food was really poor value with a pad thai listed at £11 and then £3.50 added for some poor quality chicken and £5 for a few prawns.
It was a bit of a cheek for them to even try to add a service charge when there was no service and you had to go to the bar to order food and collect drinks. It is added to the bill automatically so you don't see it until you swipe your card.
All in all, a very, very different All Bar One from before and one you would only go back to for drinks and the view by the river.
Great atmosphere at All Bar One…
Great atmosphere at All Bar One Leicester Square. Staff friendly and helpful. Exactly what you want from a night out!
Went to Southampton’s branch
Went to Southampton’s branch . Great food & drink & was served by an extremely lovely lady by the name of Chelsea . She was very friendly & courteous & think she needs a pay rise for her attentiveness..👍..
Birthday fail at Worcester branch
Terrible service at Worcester branch, we didn't want to use the QR app, explained this when when we were seated and were told that was fine. We were then completely ignored for 20 minutes, even though 2 moody looking waiting staff walked past us on at least 7 occasions, and even took a drinks order at the next table (about 12 inches away!) We left at that point and ate somewhere else. Customers are clearly an inconvenience.
Smaller group customers were not important
On the 14th of March 2022 me a two of my work colleges decided to go to All bar One in Gunwharf Keys , Portsmouth for a work meal and drinks. We arrived to find the restaurant nearly empty par a couple of couples and a large group of around 15 - 20 people. We waited to be seated by one of the staff who came over and showed us to a table , however then we were told that they had to go straight after seating us "to more important" clientele in the restaurant ( assume the larger group ) this didn't put a good look on customer service at all. We then saw over the night realised the waiting staff were hanging around the large group only taking orders for food and drink and leaving us to do orders on app/ Qr code which was very hit and miss at best. I don't recall at any point during our time there we were asked if food was or anything was wrong which supported comments made at beginning of the night. The food was ok , but looking back on customer experience would say was not not good, they were not busy at the time and comments like this is only going to put people off dining there. I don't usually write Reviews or reviews for food establishments. This was fist time going to All bar one and it has certainly put me off of going again especially the one in Portsmouth.

I had the most emotional, negative, traumatic experience!
My family which included my husband, myself and my daughters aged 18 and 14 went for a drink prior to a meal. We arrived at the bar and there was no queue, we waited for a while and nobody appeared, so we proceeded to walk into the bar. What followed was atrocious and completely unacceptable:
We were told we couldn’t sit on a table because it was blocking an area, we were happy to move our daughters to an adjacent table. The initial member of staff who approached us was happy and said he would clarify this with his manager. Then another member of staff came out and said we had to go outside and join the queue, we politely pointed out there was no queue.
3 members of staff then appeared and the manager, said they would not be serving us drinks, she raised her voice and made us feel uncomfortable, which resulted in customers also joining in, we felt we were racially targeted.
We were very calm, but did ask why we were being asked to leave. I have never felt so humiliated and there was no need to speak to us in that manner.
A customer sitting a few tables away joined in and was extremely rude to my daughter. The manager did not intervene and instead applauded their behaviour.
She was very unprofessional and instead of being supportive and empathetic, she made the situation worse. Customer care is clearly not a priority, or does it depend on the customer!
