Where to begin!
Where to begin!? Just to state this is a completely honest review in which I have emails and photos to prove (Sittingbourne branch, through Aviva car insurance)
- my initial thoughts from this company began well, I had a phone call promptly after arranging insurance details to arrange our car to go in to be repaired.
This quickly changed once I was told that they would only be carrying out half of the repairs - now I work with the same insurance company doing similar work, and I know the process of having the damage assessed, then agreed, then carried out.
For the two separate surveyors / assessors to completely misunderstand how the damage was caused, after I explained in detail twice, their reasonings have completely baffled me to why they would not be carrying out all of the repairs - their reports would have gone back to the insurance company who would in turn reject the work because of the assessors negligence.
I also gave the insurance company CCTV details which were dismissed, as at the time they didn't believe they had to figure anything out, the cctv was no longer available after 30 days therefore not viewed to prove the two points of impslact on my car.
Moving forward 4 weeks after the incident, the car was driven back to be dropped off at our home (we were initially told to come and pick the car up) the first thing that stood out was obviously the damage they didn't repair, followed by the shocking repair that they did carry out. The paintwork itself looks nice, and I am happy with the outcome of this, although I haven't been told if that panel had been repaired or replaced, what leads me to believe the panel was replaced is how poorly it was aligned up with the rest of the body work!
This car was immaculate prior to the accident, and I know for a fact every panel was lined up correctly, including this one that was repaired / replaced. We went down to Apollo last weekend, where a gentleman took images of the work carried out and agreed with me this was not acceptable! They ordered replacement clips without hesitating, and fitted them this morning.
How their work was accepted by quality control is beyond me.
My partner has been dealing with this whilst I am at work, so I can only view photos sent by her - immediately I could see they again only carried out half of what I was told and expecting to be done. The manager has had another look over the car, and insists he "isn't fobbing my partner off" which, when you usually hear this term, leads to believe that they are intact, fobbing that person off.
I honestly wish I had just repaired the damage myself out of my own pocket instead of going through the insurance company, even though I was not at fault and didn't have to pay, this has been more headache than its worth.
Photos include the opposite side, and the damaged panel which also shows how this panel sat prior to the repair. The damage was caused by an oncoming car hitting me whilst I was parked up, with his car and trailer. The damage which was not repaired were scuffs to the front plastic arch (which are at the exact same height, same markings etc as the rear damage) a light scratch to the arch, and also front wheel (images available on request if required, this was copied from my review through Google with the relevant images)
Wouldn't take my old off road car to have work carried out here, let alone our family car, could not be any more disappointed after 2 months and 3 trips here for them to rectify their work.
APPOLO CHICHESTER
I asked Apollo for an estimate for a minor repair to the front bumper, for which they quoted £1159, and told me they would need the vehicle for 5 days. Further enquiry revealed that part of the cost, approximately £250, was to recalibrate the parking sensors, I was also told that if I didn’t pay for this they would be unable to release the car for safety reasons!
I had the vehicle repaired at FMG In Havant who quoted £300, but when they carried out the repair charged £250, it took them 1 day.
LADIES BEWARE. I feel that Apollo tried to take advantage, and were dishonest because I am a woman. I doubt they would have tried it on in the same way with a man.
Great service, polite and very helpful
Unfortunately, I scraped the side of my car on a wooden plant box and took it into Apollo soon after the accident, the estimator was reassuring, kind and efficient in estimating the damage cost. He also helpfully informed me that the company was approved by my insurance company, which made the process very smooth too.
I was booked in very quickly for the work to be completed, they also quoted for some extra private work which was reasonably priced, so agreed to get this completed at the same time as the insurance work. Apollo provided me with a great replacement car for a week and the work was completed ahead of schedule.
I collected the car and when I got back noticed some stone marks on the bonnet, which I didn't realise were there before the work was completed. When I took the car back in a week later, they were very kind in providing me a little pot of my car's coloured paint, the mechanic also filled in the marks for me, so the bonnet didn't seem out of place on the emasculate rest of the body work.
From the receptionist staff, to the mechanics, and estimator, I found everyone polite, helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend Apollo Yeovil for their great customer service.

Apollo Motor Dover branch 5*
Great service and after service. Reported some issues after accident repair. Car promptly recalled. I was kept apprised of the issues and steps taken to remedy them which included lengthy conversations with BMW on their part. Felt well taken care of. Special mention and grateful thanks to Amy (in reception) and especially Dan, the manager.
Picked up my vehicle for MINOR repair
Picked up my vehicle for MINOR repair, a couple of days later was sent an email saying its 68% complete, a few days later 93% complete, looked at the tracker fitted to my vehicle...hadn't moved since collection and no work had even been started. Another email stating my headlight was damaged and wouldn't pass an MOT...have pictures to prove zero damage to headlight cluster! May look like a top of the range company but no better than a back street garage trying to take advantage of people
The worst bodyshop I have ever used.
The worst bodyshop I have ever used.
It has taken approximately 5 months to have our vehicle repaired due to us having to return it because of poor workmanship.
Communication is a big zero.
The management are clearly to blame.
Very poor service all round.
My 2018 Audi A4 Avant Excellent service
My 2018 Audi A4 Avant was damaged on driver front side, phoned LV Insurance and it was sent to Apollo Body shop, Bournemouth, who looked after my car with an excellent service, car was repaired to a very high standard, looks great, gave me a decent courtesy car and I would highly recommend Apollo. which are based in Poole.
Taken to ombudsman and won
Long awaited update After 22 months of complaints and going through the ombudsman the ombudsman has found 110% in my favour.
To clarify apollo motor group lied to the end and have still never apologised for all the damage they caused they took the car for a cheap bumper repair and now have to pay over 5k in repairs to repair the damage to my car .
Please avoid them at all cost!
After calling to say my rear bumper was repaired, I arrived to find that the bumper colour was so mismatched a blind idiot could tell it was clearly the wrong paint code, when questioned the manager tried to tell me a pack of lies a blending witch just added insult to injury that he thought I would be that thick, left my car there and raised a formal complaint with insurance but terrified about the incompetency that aloud them to paint the wrong colour???
My car was damaged in a car park and…
My car was damaged in a car park and the person left a note to claim insurance.
The staff were very polite to myself and to each other.
They were giving me regular notifications of what was going on. The repair work which took over a week looked very good both in the rain and when it was dry the next day I was told I did not have to look at it when it was wet but could look at it the next day
and I was very pleased with the work.

An incredible services a very friendly place to take you car to be repaired, fixed my car to an imcredible standered, the receptionist amy was very helpful, always kept me up to date, would highly recommend to get work done
Yeovil
Yeovil - awful so awful that two hours after dropping the car off we are on our way to get it back. Admiral insurance informed. Timelines of repair work not inline with other quotes and only told after drop off. I drive an automatic and was offered a manual car. Staff rude. Keep clear of Apollo Yeovil.
Incredible service!!
Incredible service and always kept up to date on which stage they're at when fixing my car. Quality of repair was absolutely perfect! Would use these guys again!
Absolutely first class service
Absolutely first class service, staff were exceptionally helpful and did everything they could to ensure my car was repaired to the highest standard within a limited timeframe. Can't recommend them enough.
A bit slow, but complete
This repair was covered by the other guy's insurance (he dented my bumper in a parking lot). Seemed simple to just replace the bumper. Apollo was quick at picking up the car, but took much longer than expected to get it done. Took about a week to have it estimated, another week to get insurance to approve higher costs, another week or two for the bumper to arrive and be painted, then another week for some added parts ordered later (clips and foglight). Overall, took 5+ weeks. In the last few weeks, Apollo was good about calling with updates. The repair is done and complete, and I'm happy to have the car back.

Refreshingly high customer service and skilled repair - thank you
Apollo Yeovil repaired the damage to my BMW convertible following a collision whereby a trailer had scrapped down the entire off-side of the vehicle. The completed repair was first rate and looked stunning, additionally the staff are conscientious and attentive. The quality of both the job they did and their customer service was refreshingly high with a friendly can-do ethos.
