I used bags ahead to transport my skis to Austria when the airline said they were full to capacity. The service was very efficient , informative and cost affective . As it turned out the price was very similar to transport the skis as the airline but without the hassle. Door to door service and no trudging with skis through the airport and waiting and wondering where they will be offloaded in the airport. I will almost certainly use them again. Top notch customer service too.

Just like to say what an amazing service we received from Chris and the team at Bagsahead. We used them to send our coffin snowboard bag to Austria as we'd previously had a bad experience with an airline delaying our snowboard bag, almost ruining our holiday! The bags were waiting for us when we arrived so we didn't even have to lug them to airport. Great service, would recommend this to anyone going skiing!

Chris was so supportive through the whole process Australia made the delivery very challenging

I was dubious about using the service for our holiday, but friends gave it a go and were pleased so we did as well. Great service, had lots of updates, but main thing was a real treat not having to carry our stuff with us. Will deffo use again for our summer holiday to Spain, far less stressful than previous holidays which pleased the husband :-)

Bagsahead were very professional from beginning to end. I used them on several occasions and the result was always the same - prompt efficient service. I will use them again and recommend same to anyone else needing this service.

I was dubious at first but went ahead and sent a huge bag off to Australia with clothing inside
The bag reached Australia within 4 days and was at their customers for 6 days I was called from DHL Australia to ask what was in the bag Once I explained it was clothing. The bag reached its final destination within 24 hours I’m happy with everything

Chris was very helpful moving some family estate items from the UK to the far side of Canada. Very smooth process on the UK side, but became a bit more complicated in Canada. Although there were a few issues with the “local” agents here, Chris was always available to help and provide guidance and support. Would definitely recommend BagsAhead to others.

The Bagsahead team were fantastic! They answered my initial questions on live chat immediately and processed my very last minute booking quickly and efficiently.
I was kept informed on the status of my bag throughout its journey, they liaised with my hotel to advise of its arrival and then confirmed delivery, it even arrived early!
On checking in it was already in our room.
I will be using this service every time I travel with my children as it made it much more manageable.
If you need to send anything in advance, this is the company to use.

We had booked a 3-day tour leaving from Glasgow. Since our tour was dropping us at Edinburgh on the third evening, we weren't sure where to put our luggage. It seemed the only option was to check out of the hotel before the tour began at 7 am, rent a luggage locker, return to Glasgow after the tour, pick up the luggage and then take the train to Edinburgh. I wasn't even sure that the left luggage facility was open that early in the morning-it was too much to accomplish before 7 am AND still make the tour. I was referred to Chris Boddington of Bagsahead by the tour operator.Chris told me not to worry, they would handle everything and he did exactly that! Chris told me that our luggage would not go to a holding facility but they would deliver it straight to the guesthouse and since I was concerned that the guesthouse would not have the room to store luggage for 2 days, Chris personally called the owner and coordinated everything so I didn't have to worry. Bagsahead also sent us explanatory emails every step of the way. It was a very stress-free transaction and I would definitely recommend them again. Excellent customer service!

I spent hours trying to find a company to ship my luggage that wasn't going to break the bank. Moving back to the US from the UK wasn't going to be cheap so I needed to budget wisely. Bagsahead was the last company I found after doing some digging and I read the independent reviews first. Once I felt confident enough I booked my 4 suitcases to be shipped from Minehead, UK to Chicago, IL. The price was cheaper than every other company I looked at. The next morning after booking I received a call from Chris who walked me through the whole process. When I was confused at 7pm about the paperwork for customs, I emailed Chris and he called me immediately and went over each line one by one. FedEx came the next day to pick up my bags and Chris emailed me regularly to keep me updated on my bags whereabouts. This company was so great, so friendly and so professional and my bags arrived in good shape and on time. I highly recommend using their services. 10/10
