Fabulous experience.
This lovely house looks wonderful after been refurbished. Much more brighter, great facilities, super clean. Great renovation. Good value for money. Highly recommended. Definitely returning.

We had an incredible stay at the Holy Tree House in the Wye Valley in Wales. It's an extremely spacious 9 bedroom house with ample bathrooms and communal rooms. The house has been recently renovated and is spotless clean. It's fantastic facilities allowed us to really enjoy our time there with our family and friends.

The hot tub definitely was the highlight for the kids and adults alike and it was in constant use during our stay. Even the weather played its part and we could enjoy many gorgeous sunsets.

The feeling of togetherness and special events such as a birthday and an anniversary while being at the house brought us closer as a family.

The outdoor adventures available in the area made for a memorable experience. We were able to walk, bike, canoe in the river wye, it was an amazing time and we were able to take in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding nature.

Overall, we had an awesome stay and it was an amazing value for our money. We certainly will be coming back soon and can't recommend highly enough the Holy Tree House! We couldn't have wished for a better birthday morning or a special family anniversary celebration.
The experience and quality of accommodation was top-notch and we consider our weekend to be time very well spent!

We had a fabulous time in Orchard house celebrating our mums 80th birthday. The facilities in the property catered for everyone's needs. The children and adults loved the games room. The majority of the bedrooms had ensuite facilities and the easy access bathroom facilties for our mum was a bonus. The outdoor seating area provided us with opportunities to look out onto amazing views. Isla the dog loved running around the garden and the walks in the surrounding area. The tour of the cider making facilities was enjoyed by the party and was very informative. A brief description of the property and its history when we arrived was also appreciated. Locally produced honey was delicious.

Amazing house and Barn with stunning views in every direction. Lovely to have the outdoor pool during the mini heatwave that we had. Hot tub as well but weather was too warm to use it. We needed to cool off! Plenty of room for our group of 20 and everyone agreed it was the best weekend ever! It was nice to have the house for the older generation and leave the barn for the younger ones, we could go to bed earlier 🤣. The journey there was interesting through the narrow lanes but we all made it ok.

Pencraig Court is an all-inclusive holiday package! If you're seeking a 'home' feel in a tranquil environment and a scenic getaway, then, Pencraig is the right place!.

The Property is dated with a lots of history, well maintained and prestigious, local amenities are easily accessible with top class eateries. Local grocerers offers organic produce and are easily accessible too, such that you can cook yourself in a well equipped Kitchen.

Within the grounds itself, there's plenty to do and see. There is a short path to the river, where you can go on a short boat ride, a short and enjoyable walk to the "Goodrich" Castle.

Each room has its own unique, individual appearance and character; and for a large group holiday, it is perfectly ideal.

All I am trying to say is, seeing is believing!

Besides these, the agents at Bhhl.co.uk (Roscoe, Rogers & Knight); were exceptional in their communications and transparency, which, for me is a rare quality nowadays.

I am so glad that the property was available when I needed it.

Amazing Wye Rapids House! A gem in Symonds Yat. My family of 20 stayed at Wye Rapids House for a week. Alison was fantastic at communicating and Graham, our host, made everything so easy. We felt welcomed by everyone we met. It was perfect! The area is beautiful and the house had everything we needed. Highly recommended for family groups, it was definitely meant to be. A memorable visit for all of us. Thank you, Alison from Big House Holidays. Nothing was ever too much, we appreciate it.

We had a fantastic stay at highcloud farm. The venue was superb and perfect for our group. The area is beautiful and secluded and the facilities are great - a lovely pool and loads of space. Mike the house manager was communicative and very accommodating. All in all would recommend and I can see us coming back in future

Everything at High Cloud was perfect! More than enough space for all 18 of us and the place was immaculate. We just wish we brought our dogs along because they would have loved it!

Bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, it was nice that you can’t hear any noise at all from the barn when you’re in the main house, so it’s a nice private space for those who want it!

Hot tub & games room are just great additions to what’s already a lovely house & space. We didn’t get to use the pool as it was out of season, but it looked huge, and the garden area around it looks like it would be perfect in the summer.

We would have rebooked straight away for next year if there were any weekends free in the summer, as we’d have loved to use the pool, but seems a lot of other people loved it as much as we did so it’s booked out 😆

Mike was very friendly and made us feel really welcome when we first arrived and when we left; And very accommodating again the second time around as we had left some items at the house which he was more than happy for us to arrange to pick up at our convenience!

The stay was excellent from being greeted by Mike on arrival. The property had everything we needed for a truly memorable family get together. The hot tub was a fantastic way to enjoy the scenery and there was always someone in the swimming pool! Thanks for the memories.

Great stay at Lowe Farm. Was glad to have everything I needed in the kitchen. Also the lovely bedrooms & bathrooms. We put together the two dining room tables, the second evening, so that we could all see each other & talk across the table, which was wonderful.
I can't think of any improvements. It must be lovely in the summer months to be able to sit outside, as we were mostly inside, apart from the hot tub.

We stayed in Monnow Valley Studio for a week (19th to 26th August) 20 of us in total, my entire family ages ranging 7 months to 95 years.
We had our family Christmas gathering, full Christmas dinner complete with tree and presents.
The house was perfect for our party. What a beautiful place. Steeped in musical history which pleased the musicians amongst us.
The only thing worth noting is that the 2 ground floor bedrooms are interlinked, they have their own bathrooms which is great but you have to go through 1 room to access the other. Wasnt a problem for us as we're all family but could be an issue for others.
All in all a fantastic stay. Thank you

Myself and 23 other ladies stayed here 26th August - 29th August. Music is my first love and this house is beautiful and steeped in rock music history and memorabilia. It was perfect for us as a party house. We certainly did party like rockstars! The soundproofed disco room with sound system was amazing. Loud as we wanted with no worries about upsetting neighbours. We had a grease night in the cinema room which was a lovely way to wind down on the last night. The hosts are very communicative and were lovely and accommodating. I hired the hot tub and this was very much enjoyed. We had a paddle board on the river and although it was cold as expected it was clean and very much enjoyed. I would recommend this house to everyone! Loved, loved, loved it!!!!!

If you are into music and music history this is the place. You can plug into the sound equipment in the very same room
Oasis recorded ‘definitely maybe’. Everyone has been there and recorded, Tom Jones was there 2 weeks before us recording.!
The house is spotless and has all the amenities you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high spec. Jo and Phil are amazing and are there to help if needed without being pushy, they are lovely, thank you.

Fantastic holiday in a perfect setting and plenty of activities for the whole family inside and out. Well equipped house with everything you need for a stress free break and a sanctuary that we have visited before; and plan to again!

22 of us stayed at Forest House in July 2022. So much space to spread out and even with 22 of us in the house we certainly weren't treading on each others toes. Garden was lovely to BBQ in, the hot tub worked really well, and the owner was very helpful with a query I had during the stay. We would definitely recommend to a large group looking to relax in a quality house that is very well appointed clean and tidy. And surprisingly cosy for such a big place. Lots to do in the area too

Just returned from an amazing few days at Monnow Valley Studio, 20 of us ages 5-75, what an absolutely stunning place this is, our grandchildren voted it the best holiday house ever and we have stayed at many over the years!
Brilliant location on the banks of the River Monnow, house is extremely well equipped, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, we plan to come again next year! The games room, entertainment and party rooms such a huge hit, massive kitchen and dining room. what a great place!
Thank you to all the staff at BHHL, our trip all together had to be postponed 4 times since Summer 2020 but it was well worth the wait!

We had great service from the Big House Holidays from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for them. The house we stayed at (Orchard House near Monmouth) was amazing...lots of space, lots of facilities and provided everything that a group of 20 people ranging in age from 11-83 could wish for! The owners of the property were incredibly friendly and ensured that we made the very best of our time in the house. This included us being introduced to their horses and grabbing a trailer ride to visit the beehives in the neighbouring fields. We highly, highly recommend both Big House Holidays and Orchard House

Beautiful house set in a very peaceful location, we had lovely weather so the pool was used massively. Very clean and extremely helpful with showing us around. Would use here again without a doubt

I initially booked the River Wye Lodge for 2020. BHHL were happy to move the booking first to the same dates in 2021, then to 2022 (I was stuck in China for 2 years). When it got to 2022 and I was able to start organising the trip, my queries were responded to quickly via email. I found the booking portal to be helpful and moderately easy to use.

The property itself was well-maintained and well-stocked and we found the house manager really polite and helpful.

Overall, communication was prompt and clear.

We used the River Wye Lodge for our first Team Away week for work. The establishment was excellent in every respect and the team loved having their own bar! The rooms were really comfortable, the location was perfect and the table tennis table saw some very hard fought over matches! Also your recommendation of using Gaynor at the Rumbling Tum was spot on. She provided the whole team with high quality tasty food on time each day.

The whole team loved being there and most didn’t want to go back to work (but don’t tell the boss!).
