I have used blackhall for years now and they are the best plumbers we have had. Always professional and a good standard of work plus honest in terms of saying exactly what needs to be done and what is a waste of money so no point doing.
Recently we had Gavin and Shaun in to convert our upstairs hot water system and I could have asked for better plumbers. So courteous and professional plus very considerate of me having a baby in the house. Always warned me before loud bits of work and tidied up at the end of the day so you couldn't even tell they had been in. I would highly recommend blackhall as a plumbing service you can trust and rely on.

Quoted for two relatively simple jobs - leaks (kitchen sink) and to replace a shower part.
First visit - leaks not attended to...
Second visit - told everything was ok.
Third visit - leaks, that should have been dealt with during the first visit attended to... charged a further £250.00 - no quote in advance...
Query fell on deaf ears - best part of £800.00 paid, didn't have the time or energy to carry on, for two simple jobs.
Avoid this company and get any trades person(s) to agree to complete the job for the quote given...

Had given permission for these guys to attend my property in my absence to investigate a leak and correct on the basis agreed on phone that any skirtings removed would be put back in place afterwards. Plumbing work done but skirtings just left off the wall and I was advised that I would require to pay their not inconsiderable bill at which point they would reattend to fix skirtings they removed and didn't put back and this would be chargeable! Unbelievable! Needless to say I wont be taking them up on this offer

I called the engineer for my boiler going into fault for failing fan but he cleaned the boiler and I was told the fan is working at the moment but I told the engineer the fan needs to be changed but he left after a week or so I had the same problem but I phoned and explained it to their office eventually I said I think if the boiler is old I need to change the boiler do the office have me another appointment for few weeks later the weather was cold and the boiler was not working eventually another engineer came and told me the boiler does not need to be changed but I shall send you a quotation for the fan as soon as I get back to the office the quotation never came and I phoned but not any response. They were not interested at all since they had the money the first time .
I would not use the company ever again

We had a particularly difficult project involving the moving of existing solar panels from our house roof to our garage roof.
Other providers chose not to attempt the work for various reasons, however Blackhall approached the request in a logical, professional and intelligent way resulting in an excellent job.
Stuart, Michael and the team have the experience, know how and creative thinking to resolve such projects.
I would certainly recommend them.

Good and Bad. I had a toilet flush replaced and improved upon. The work was excellent. Quick and successful. A great result. I then experienced intermittant pipe noise after flush which they then wanted to raise a job for instead of just tightening the nut on the diaphragm washer that should have been part of the flush install. Still waiting.
