Brake and Service World were so helpful to me when I needed to replace a rear light. They advised me on the part to order and were extremely patient with my lack of knowledge about cars. I have rarely come across such a caring and helpful business and will be going there for all future car issues. Highly recommended.

The team at Brakes and Service world are always very helpful and polite. I took my car in without an appointment which was no problem to them, they sorted my car and I was back out within the hour. Amar was especially helpful, nothing was too much to ask. Will always go to this garage with any car issues I have.

Very impressive service. Had an issue with brake noise and made an appointment for a brake test, the following day. This was carried out promptly at the arranged time, an acceptable price was given and I had the work carried out immediately and drove off, 90 minutes later. Will certainly consider for tyres and MOTs, in the future.

My partner has been using Amar and his team for several years and recommended I did too and I have no regrets. From reception through to the workshop everyone is friendly and professional. As a woman with limited car mechanic knowledge, I trust them implicitly as they take the time to explain what needs doing plus the cost is always acceptable. I also like that they invite you into the workshop, provide photos, and are totally transparent about proposed work. The place is immaculate too. Totally recommend these guys on every level.

I called up Brakes and Services and asked if they dealt with electric cars I spoke to the receptionist Mandy who was very helpful, explained my issues with my Nissan Leaf and she said to pop in and they will have a look. I took the car in at about 3ish and straight away she got someone to take a look at my car. Jamie had a look abd told me to go inside abd have a coffee whilst he checked tje problem. Amar then came back to tell me I needed new headlight bulbs and told me the cost and immediately got the bulbs and the mechanic Jamie put them in with great speed. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I even asked about service and MOT and Amar said there are always offers and he will honour the current price. I would definitely recommend this car garage. One happy customer 😀

I will continue to go back to this garage as they are fantastic, they are reliable, efficient and professional. I always feel comfortable using their services and trust their advice. 100% recommend.

AMAZING!
Malfunction light came on in my car so booked it in for a diagnostic. Light turned itself off but I still wanted to have the car checked. Took it to the guys at Brake & Service World who not only ran the diagnostic but did not charge me for it! Absolutely brilliant and will defo be using them again.

If you get an oil change check oil after,as I took photo of oil before and after,the oil was the same jet black and thin,the reply was that it wasn’t flushed so it would be black and thin,yes but it had only done 1 mike so should be a clear gold colour and certainly not thin and black,I suggest avoid !

They fit us in at short notice. Customer service was excellent and all for a competitive price. Can’t speak highly enough of the service we received. We are not local and found the company online. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here since 2021 and I feel compelled to write a positive review every single time. I trust them to do what’s needed and do it well at a great price.

Everyone you meet there is amazingly friendly and helpful and I’ve even been lucky enough to be charmed by Trevor (who started it all off ) a few times too.

This is not my nearest garage by far but I always travel from Shefford to this garage as I can trust them. They dont rip you off, their prices are competitive and they are so efficient. I would highly recommend this garage and the guy there Amar is an absolute asset to them the best there is.

I booked Service & MOT with AA SmartCare. On 11/06/2025, for the 13/06/2025, they picked up the car at approximately 10:30 am. Brake and Service World tried to contact AA Smartcare due to the car needed extra work to pass the MOT, but guess what? AA SmartCare opening times are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM, so Brake and Service World had to wait until Monday, 16/06/202,5 to contact me directly. I am a self-employed delivery driver. I use my car to deliver parcels for Amazon & Evri, so I couldn't work for 4 days. Finally, AA SmartCare contacted me via text, prompting me to approve the additional work of £146. 39 excluding VAT, but before that, the Garage contacted me earlier. I refused to pay AA Smartcare additional and insisted due there lack of communication, they should compensate me for the money I lost with no work. This is where I consider a business that needs to thrive, "Brake and Service World". I can say more about your company, but many may disapprove. Thank you very much, I can now go back to work. I had a great experience at the Brake & Service branch in Luton. The owner truly cares about the customers, making sure they feel comfortable and informed while waiting for their vehicle to be serviced. Amar, in particular, stood out with his in-depth knowledge about my car’s needs. He was not only professional but also very friendly and approachable, which made the whole process stress-free. MY CAR ON SERVICE WICH SHOULD AND PUT MY CAR ON MOT AS FAIL WAS TOLD ME MY JOB GONNA COST 225 POUND WHEN I COME TO RECEIVED CAR HE SAID ITS 225 EACH SIDE WHEN LOCAL GARAGES CHARGING FOR THIS JOB 160 POUND PLS AVOID MR IBRAHIM AND THIS COMPANY AND DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING WITH THEM NEVER DEAL WITH THAT WRONG PERSON BEFORE HE SAID ITS 225 FOR ALL... I have used the Letchworth branch of this company twice in the last 3 months and have been completely satisfied with them. Polite, helpful with very fair pricing and no delays. Dropped me home when I left car and delivered car when work completed. Very efficient method of payment online.

I’ve used this company twice-
1. At the start of winter 2024 when they checked everything, reset the car computer which showed the pressure was unbalanced / down in one of my tyres and didn’t charge me - “ as it was a check only”.
2. 26/3/2025 at 16.45 the car computer again showed in balance - Brake & Service World again inspected, found a screw in one of the tyres/ which they fixed & sorted in 20 mins - no fuss & very reasonably priced.
As a female in a VERY male environment I felt valued / appreciated and can fully recommend this company!

The best garage in Luton.
The customer service excellent, the service brilliant and also they offer you choices of repair prices and they discuss the plan with you, on top of that they dropped off my car home while I was at work.
I recommended the garage to anyone because I had a very good experience with them, they are very knowledgeable and friendly staff especially the management.

I called Break & service world ltd this morning for a Coolant Flush for my car which was recommended by the VW main dealer. Break & service world was busy but they were very kind to fit me in to their busy schedule on the same day to do the job. I waited a little more then an hour for the job.

First of all at your dealership you never get a same day appointment on top they did my work while I was waiting in their customers waiting area.

The customers waiting area is clean, cosy and provided hot drinks and the garage is very clean. The staffs specially Mr Amar and Mr Ibrahim were very professional, friendly and kind. I would recommend my friends and family for any auto related work to visit Break & service ltd. In my opinion/experience they are the best.

Very happy with the service I received at the Letchworth branch today(courtesy of RAC tyre cover). Friendly and helpful receptionist, great technicians, Thank you. I hope not to have any more tyre trouble for a while but I know where to go if I do.
