Very pleased that we used Brian Dale and Daughter for our move. The quote was significantly better than the others we received. We had a number of failed moves but there were no complaints from the company. The packing service was very efficient and the move went smoothly on the day. Even with the delay in getting the keys, everything was moved in and all beds and wardrobes rebuilt by 6pm. The guys on the day were great. Nothing was damaged and they kept us informed of everything going on. I'd happily use them again if we moved house.

We moved house after 40yrs! Brian Dale and Daughters made the experience as stress free and easy as possible. We could not recommend the team higher they delivered boxes bubble wrap and on the day arrived on time took time and care moving our belongings from our longtime home to our new house. Excellent experience. Made our recent move absolutely stress free. Dropped lots of boxes, packaging, tape and labels to us few weeks before our move so we wasn't rushed into packing, needed more boxes and promptly brought them round. The lads on the day worked like absolute machines, I felt I needed a rest just watching them. Everything was packed in the van in record time and there was another crew waiting for us at the new house, everything was emptied and put in the right rooms as requested. Was all done by 14:30, yes we got lucky with getting the keys early but the lads were fully prepared to wait for however long it takes and we wouldn't have been charged "overtime" if solicitors stalled the key handover, so taking this into account as most other movers charge extra for this, Price was very reasonable and wouldn't hesitate to use again, Highly recommend. Fantastic service and thanks to all the lads involved 🙏

Absolutely fantastic service. Brian did our quote, was thorough and a highly competitive price. Dave managed the rest of the removal. He's friendly and helpful. Dropped boxes round at a time to suit us and then some more when we realised we had more stuff than we thought and needed extra supplies! Plenty of packaging provided and helpful guidance as to how to package things. On removal day the team were prompt, incredibly efficient and careful. They were really friendly and went out of their way to make the whole process as easy as possible. Huge credit to them for their patience and humour! They brought carpet protectors with them to keep our new house clean and only left when we were happy everything was in the correct rooms. I wholeheartedly recommend them - thank you!

Used Brian Dale & Daughter for a packing service and removal and found them to be reasonably priced, very accommodating and really friendly. Due to solicitor issues I confirmed the date quite last minute and despite having limited availability they were really flexible in getting people round to pack up and finding people for the move date. Everything was really carefully packed and we've had no breakages (so far, a few boxes still to do!), it was taken to the right room in the house and reassembled well. Excellent removals service from start to finish. Brian did our quote. No hidden extras. Competitive price. Dave managed the booking. Boxes provided well in advance and prompt responses to questions. On the day the moving team turned up on time and worked fast. We noticed how well they worked together and with a sense of humour. Everyone was courteous and we were asked to check everything was where we wanted it before they left. All of our possessions were treated with care. We have an 8 month old baby and both selling the house/finding another and the conveyancing process were drawn out for us so it was great for the moving day to go smoothly. It was a seamless service and I would highly recommend Brian Dale and Daughter.

We very recently used Brian Dale and Daughter for our move to a new house. Dave Powell led his team capably and he clearly has the respect of his team, a really nice group who are not afraid of hard work.

We had the full packing and removal service, with Nick and Sean packing one day, who together with Phil and Marcus, all arrived on moving day. The team were very professional, they didn't complain about anything (including the delay getting into our new property) and they were all nice, friendly guys, super polite and always asking questions about what goes where, which we really appreciated.

Moving home is without doubt a challenging time, we reduced an initial list of six removal firms to three (for quotations) and opted for BD&D because they were the most informed and thoughtful of our move, this was one of the best decisions we've made, they really did take the pressure out of this process for us.

They also provided a really helpful booklet filled with a number of common-sense questions (and answers), a bit of a "what happens if" guide, which we also found really useful and which they lived up to without question.

We're still unpacking, and so far everything has been wrapped and packed in good order, paper wrap around crockery, bubble wrap on electricals, large hanging boxes for clothes (cracking idea) and even a couple of one-tonne bags for logs they moved from the garden.

There were a number of items they dismantled and reassembled for us, again without any issue, including where some of that was a bit tricky.

If I was moving again tomorrow there would be only one firm on my list. I really can't speak highly enough of these guys.

We recently had Brian over to give us a quote for moving. He was due to arrive at 1pm, and arrived at 12:20. Without a word of introduction or apology, he entered the flat.

What happened afterwards can only be described as a textbook example of how NOT to sell a service.

Upon seeing our cat and us asking to ensure he was okay with cats, he responded "Well, I've got lots of firearms but I wouldn't hurt an animal."

Brian then walked around the flat all the while describing it as a removals nightmare and ensuring us he "won't be doing any favours" on the price.

Later on during the visit, Brian heard my own Irish accent and let me know of his time working in the military in Northern Ireland. He then told us that he has kept up us skill with firearms (as mentioned earlier), but that "unfortunately" he isn't "allowed to take them (his guns) down Ladypool Road".

Upon hearing that I was moving for work, and hearing that I work in the NHS, Brian then launched into a tirade on COVID19 vaccines and how they were all a conspiracy.

My wife and I could not believe that someone could be so unprofessional. In the short period that Brian was in our home, he demonstrated himself to be a racist conspiracy theorist who was happy to brag about his access to firearms and ability to use them.

I would strongly advise that anyone considering employing Brian's firm for their removals needs reconsider, and that Brian's daughter politely suggest to her father that it might be time to step back from client-facing activities.

Dave and his lads were exceptional! They all worked non stop and so hard on one of the hottest days, caring and lifting and being very friendly!

Dave and his team helped us move from Birmingham to Warwick at the beginning of August. They offer such a flexible service with no hidden costs which is such a relief at a very stressful time. They provided all the packing materials (and even brought more when we ran out!) at no cost to us and on the day the 3 guys were really friendly, hard working and most importantly, nothing was smashed in the move. Great company and would thoroughly recommend using them to move house. Thanks again guys.

Brian Dale and Daughter made the entire house moving process stress-free. They worked well with short notice, providing me plenty of boxes and packing materials to get my things ready for the move.
I was super stressed on the day of moving because I hadn't finished packing. But the guys who turned up were reassuring and told me to sit down and relax while they handled everything. They sorted out all the stuff I couldn't without any issue. The entire move was completed in 3.5 hours, it was a whirlwind of efficiency. They were friendly and polite and did a fantastic job.
The price I paid was well worth the piece of mind of having professionals handle the whole thing - made better by the fact that Brian Dale and Daughter were the most competitive on price out of all the quotes I got.
Honestly, my entire house-buying process was just months and months of stress, and I was so grateful for having a calm and professional presence sorting out the entire thing. Really put a positive end on what had, up til then, been an awful experience for me.

I needn't have had any sleepless nights worrying about my move. The guys arrived the day before my move and packed everything for me. They were friendly polite careful and efficient I couldn't have expected more. Next day they arrived as promised and by 3pm my new house was already looking like home. I have just used this company to move my stuff from my home to storage while I wait for my new place to go through. They were a fantastic, lovely and friendly team and nothing was too much trouble. We chose to use Brian Dale & Daughter based on 2 things, great online reviews and the attention to detail from Brian & David. Nothing was too much trouble and the lads on the day were superb, we highly recommend these guys and thank them for doing an amazing job.

We used Brian Dale & Daughter earlier this month for a local move. With two young children, we were nervous about a stressful move however Dave and the team made the whole thing absolutely seamless. We used the packing service and the disassembly/assembly service, and both made the day genuinely stress-free. The men over the two days worked efficiently and incredibly hard. They were careful with our belongings and took the time to put them where we asked.

We couldn’t find the rail for our wardrobe, and within a day or 2 of mentioning it to Dave, he dropped a new one straight to us. Excellent customer service!

We moved from Birmingham to East Yorkshire and the service from Dave and the team was brilliant throughout.

We had quotes from 5 companies, but from the moment we met Brian Dale and Daughter we knew they were for us. Great feeling of friendly confidence, hassle free, and inclusive of the things that other companies apply additional charges for.

Plenty of boxes, bubble wrap, paper supplied before, and more delivered when required. We had a 2 day move where they loaded up in Birmingham, then delivered to Yorkshire the next day. Unfortunately the lads had to wait 2 hrs outside the house before we got the keys, but they were still great, unloading carefully and quickly. They dismantled beds, tables etc and rebuilt in the new house saving us so much time and hassle.

Having read reviews for "established names" in home moving, I am so glad we chose a local company.
