Really poor experience so far

Really poor experience so far. Does no one regulate these clowns? When my airline changed flights so that connection was prevented, I contacted them and was asked so? Then had to convince them that 40 minutes connection time at Delhi wasn’t feasible. Now struggling to get them to help with getting me onto the same flight as my elderly father. Horrible experience with horrible company. AVOID

Update to this- the agent after several hours agreed to change my flight. I asked if it was definitely done, they confirmed. Then haven’t done it. In the meantime my father has changed his flight and I’m not on it. Typically they are uncontactable

Extremely disappointed with BudgetAir.

Extremely disappointed with BudgetAir.

It’s been days and I’ve now sent 11 emails with absolutely no response. Their live chat is just as bad — it never drops below 30 people ahead of you, and I’ve wasted hours waiting without ever getting through to anyone.

What’s even more concerning is that my flight from the Middle East was still showing as “scheduled” on BudgetAir, and I even received an email prompting me to check in. Thankfully, I had the sense to check directly with the airline, where I discovered the flight had actually been cancelled.

Since then, I’ve received zero communication and no refund for my cancelled flight.

I completely understand that there is an ongoing war and that this is a difficult time for travel companies. However, the complete lack of communication and support has gone beyond a joke at this point.

Thankfully, I was in a position to book another flight out of the Middle East myself and get home safely. Otherwise, I could have been left stranded in a war zone waiting indefinitely for BudgetAir to respond or process a refund.

This experience has been incredibly stressful and unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through BudgetAir.

What a nightmare

What a nightmare!
I had a flight booked. 2 days later they call me to tell me that my tickets were never actually boooked. Thanks to them a have wasted thousands of dollars in Airbnb and other airline costs. PLUS the best part is they won’t refund my return flight for the booking. What a nightmare. Won’t trust them again.

By mistake I wrote the wrong date. I tried to chat with one of your agents.. impossible..
Even though I paid to have a flexible ticket, I had to pay again.. not really good.. actually very bad 😞

Don't expect any help . Impossible to get any answers, fobbed off, left stranded and holiday ruined.

Booked a return flight for a special occasion. Now due to Iran war our return second leg Doha to Heathrow (which was a collaboration between Qatar & BA) has been cancelled. Although at the minute first leg Bankok to Doha is still showing as flying. Why would we fly into Doha with no hope of moving on ?. Airlines say because we booked with Budgetair they have to rebook and they wont help as our contract is with Budgetair . Tryed for 5 days without success to get through on live chat Budgetair, said same thing everytime "30 people waiting". Then they ignored first email. When they did finally reply on the second attempt was told that the airline would not let them rebook. !! Offered a refund which is about £800 short of figure it should be at. Think this was an easy option for them.My contract is with them. I wish I had checked their reviews before booking. Contacted them again but Harshal did not reply. Upshot is we are meant to be flying back home on Monday(5 days away)and we just are just left, stranded in South East Asia. There are plenty of flights out that day. We are an elderly couple who need to get home for health reasons. I know these are difficult times and I understand that . But this is such an easy fix. They just choose not to rebook. So before booking with this company please beware that if there is a problem you can not expect any help and any refunds will be nowhere near what are owed. Their treatment and lack of support have ruined the last 10 days of a very special occasion for us , celebrating our Golden Wedding.

A SCAM APP, I lost lots of money out of it!

You should avoid using this service as much as possible. I used this app to book a flight to Bangkok and chose the refundable option by paying an extra £20 because I knew my job situation might change. And it did. So I applied for a refund three weeks before the departure date.

However, their customer service was extremely confusing. They didn’t communicate clearly and told me to contact a third party, Refundable.me, to process the refund. This requirement was not even mentioned in the description beforehand.

When I contacted them, they said my reason did not qualify for a refund, so they refused it. £20 is not cheap, and this so-called “insurance” is conditional. They simply transferred the risk to a third party, which then brazenly rejects most refund requests. What a scam!

I just want to say BIG THANK YOU… budgetair

I just want to say BIG THANK YOU BUDGETAIR!
I purchased ticket through budgetair.ae. and then i saw reviews stating negative comments. I feel unease cause im done already with my purchase. I was afraid that Maybe i will not receive the right details on my ticket. As i have read in the comments. But after a day, i received our ticket in perfect details. And then i went back to the reviews. One thing i noticed is that , budgetair responds to almost all the reviews, negative or positive . Which is a good point.
And then this things happen,. Due to security reasons, our flight is canceled. Many things run in my mind, "what about my ticket?" Is "budgetair will respond" "what if they dont", they dont have office here, where should i go?"
But despites of those thoughts, still i send mail, an email for refund request. 1 on the first day and follow up on the next day,. Moving forward they reply after 4th day.
On the same day with seconds spart i receive three mails, the 2nd and third mail states that i needed to wait 8 to 10 weeks as the process needs airline approval. And the third mail says that good news, airline approve the refund request in full. I just need to wait 8 to 10 days. And on the fourth day i received my refund in full .. not even a penny less..
Big shout out BUDGETAIR, 🫡 thank you so much

Do not buy ticket through Budgetair

I wanted to buy my ticket at Air transat directly
BudgetAir almost blocked me from going to Airtransat. So I bought through BudgetAir. Soon after it was impossible to reach BudgetAir
At the airport airtransat received a warning for my ticket
My wife must return soon and airtransat charges 19.00 fee to change the réservation. When I called BudgetAir I was told that it is impossible to make any change bla-bla-bla
I told them why would a passenger buts with BudgetAir
Yes it is a very bad site to buy ticket

Wrong Contact Details with Airline

It is second time I have faced the same issue with budgetair. For some reason the booking team puts their own email and phone number while booking with airline. This means that the traveller can not access the booking at all, which is very inconvinient. When you ask them the customer service tells you to contact airline and airline tells that i need to contact the booking agancy.

The baggage for the 2nd flights was not…

The baggage for the 2nd flights was not added. The reference number for the booking is BAE-6677412 and Air Arabia is referring me back your website and your website is not assisting.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with BudgetAir and the level of customer support I have received.

My booking number is BAE-6330636 and the booking was made using the email arafatibnekaiyum @ gmail.com.

I have been trying to contact BudgetAir through their website support, chat system, and email, but it has been almost impossible to reach anyone. My messages are not being answered and my emails have not received any response either.

My flight has been **cancelled by the airline**, and I am requesting a **refund**, but I have not received any assistance or update from BudgetAir regarding my case. As a customer, this situation is very frustrating because there is no clear way to communicate with the company.

I am writing this review in the hope that someone from BudgetAir will see this and contact me to resolve the issue.
