Scammmers

Scammmers. Booked a ticket for 270$ timing got changed. I got an email scrolling through the email they have put a confirmation button in the email so someone can accidentally press it and when calling them saying this tgey want to charge an extra 44$ per person and an additional 77$ per person as per the ticket . To change booking. Called airline they said budget air have access to change the booking for free anytime they want

Tickets issued incorrectly and no fair resolution offered

We purchased two international flight tickets through BudgetAir (booking BAU-9437657) for travel from Thaniland to France.
Unfortunately, the tickets were issued incorrectly: both tickets were issued with the same passenger name instead of one ticket per traveler. As a result, one of the passengers does not have a valid ticket and would not be allowed to board an international flight, as airline tickets must exactly match the passenger’s identity.
We contacted BudgetAir within 12 hours of receiving the tickets to report the issue. Since then, we have been repeatedly referred between BudgetAir and the airline (Oman Air), without either party taking responsibility or offering a clear resolution.
The only solution offered so far has been to cancel the ticket with a cancellation penalty of around 70% of the total price, which we find unacceptable given that the tickets were issued incorrectly in the first place.
Because the issue remained unresolved, we opened a PayPal dispute which has now been escalated to a claim while we wait for a fair outcome. We have also sought guidance from Australian consumer protection bodies including Consumer Affairs Victoria and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Fortunately our travel date is still some time away. If this flight had been imminent, we likely would have lost the entire booking due to an unresolved ticketing error.
Based on this experience, travelers should be cautious when booking through BudgetAir (Travelix) and carefully verify all ticket details immediately after issuance. Resolving ticketing issues through an intermediary appears to be significantly more complex than expected.
We still hope BudgetAir / Travix will review this case and provide a fair solution, such as correcting the ticket or issuing a full refund. If the situation is resolved, we would update this review.

Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with BudgetAir. I contacted their customer service weeks ago regarding a flight issue and have received no response whatsoever. Not even an acknowledgement of my email.

When customers are dealing with cancelled or changed flights and significant amounts of money, companies have a responsibility to respond and provide support. Completely ignoring customers is unacceptable.

If this continues, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter through consumer protection channels and my payment provider to recover the funds.

I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines rather than using BudgetAir, as their customer service appears to be non-existent when problems arise.

Very frustrating and extremely poor customer experience.

Flight cancelled, refund already issued by airline but no response from BudgetAir

I booked a round-trip flight through BudgetAir (Booking number: BUK-42205773). The outbound flight was operated by Pegasus Airlines and has been cancelled by the airline.

According to the airline’s system, the ticket has already been refunded, yet I have not received any update or refund from BudgetAir.

For the past four days I have been trying to contact BudgetAir:
• The live chat always shows 30+ people in the queue
• My emails have not been answered
• I am still waiting for a promised callback

At the moment I have no information about my refund or next steps, even though the airline has already processed the refund.

This level of customer support is extremely frustrating, especially when dealing with cancelled flights and significant travel costs.

I would appreciate immediate clarification and processing of my refund for booking BUK-42205773.

Customer service is an iron wall

Honestly I waited weeks to get hold of them. Since the troubles in the Middle East I've been desperately trying to get information as the our flight to Bangladesh is going via Dubai. My colleague is flying with Key Travel and three days ago got confirmation our Emirates flight is cancelled, but I had nothing from Budget air, despite continuous emails which went unanswered and a useless chatbot. I was not once put through to a real person in those weeks despite constantly sitting on the chat transfer and there is no phone number. Finally today I got through on to an agent via the chat. They issued an email saying it was cancelled and requested a refund from Emirates. This is why I've put it up to 2 stars rather than one. Honestly the stress isn't worth the lower price. I'm sure things are worse because of the difficulties at the moment but it's been ridiculous not being able to get any response for so long.

STAY AWAY-Not worth it

I cannot stress enough to anyone that will listen to ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY from this organization. They lie, cheat and steal.

I have been dealing with a flight that was delayed 6 hours and canceled by JetBlue back in December. I had to go to Jet Blue to ger PROOF of the refund and I provided it to be told that they will not give me the money refunded. any no one can tell me why. Complete and utter fraud.

If I could give it a -100 I would!!! These buggers made me purchase travel insurance in case I had to cancel n the next day I tried to cancel and they told me it had to be for medical reasons!! They indicated for any reason up to 24 hours before flight take off!!! The world has gone MAD

Refound

Good day,

I have booked air ticket from budgetair.co.uk dated 07.03.2026 from Bangkok to Muscat dated 08.03.2026 17.10 LMT with 304,6 pound, I selected cancalable prices, due Iran-USA war, there was note at the cancelable prices, cancel due 60 pound, then I canceled on 8.03.2026 early morning, then budgetair.co.uk sent mail and advice, they cut 191 pount, 60 pound their fee, 113,6 pount airline fee, I have tried same ticket from Indigo airline with cancaleble ticket and I saw there their cancel fee 4500 indian rupi from 3-24hours before, I also receive one letter from Indigo airline they have deducted 121 SGD and refound 402 SGD, all are attached. 402 SGD is 234 pound, so I accept 60 deducted for them and refound me 174 pound

I would give them zero stars if I could. Booked flights to Bangkok via Doho that have been cancelled by the airline but there is no way to speak to Budgetair. No acknowledgement of emails, phone number is silent and live chat has permanent message saying more than 30 people in the queue that never changes. Do not book with this agent. Any saving you make in price will not be worth it. I have wasted days trying to get in contact.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support from BudgetAir regarding a change to my ticket. My ticket is listed as changeable, yet BudgetAir representatives repeatedly tell me that the airline is not allowing the change. When I bring the airline onto the call with BudgetAir, the explanation shifts—either the time was entered incorrectly or some other issue is cited.

I am currently unable to travel due to global geopolitical circumstances and need to modify my booking. My booking number is **BUSA-227296****.

Over the past **three days**, I have spent hours on calls with both the airline and BudgetAir. The front desk team at BudgetAir keeps submitting the request, while the backend continues to respond that the airline is not permitting the change. However, when I speak directly with the airline, they indicate that the request should be possible.

This circular process has been extremely frustrating and has left me without a resolution. I would appreciate clear guidance on how this can be resolved promptly. At this point, the experience has been so disappointing that I regret purchasing the ticket through BudgetAir.

Please advise on the next steps.

No support received during global crisis

Dear BudgetAir Support Team,

I am writing regarding my booking BAE-6489198 for the Indigo flight from RAK to COK (PNR: G7UQ9G).

The flight has been cancelled by the airline due to the ongoing geopolitical situation in the UAE. However, I am currently unable to process a cancellation or refund through Indigo’s website, and despite multiple attempts, I have received no response to my emails or chat requests from BudgetAir.

This lack of support during a situation caused by a major geopolitical crisis is extremely disappointing. Since the airline has cancelled the flight, I am entitled to a full refund, and I expect this matter to be handled promptly.

Please process the full refund immediately or provide clear instructions on how this will be resolved. If I do not receive a response within 48 hours, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter through formal consumer protection channels and my payment provider.
