What happened to their service? I have purchased clubs from Callaway Pre-Owned for years, including full sets of irons and countless single clubs. I have always had great experiences, but this has absolutely changed. I just purchased two clubs that showed up in markedly worse condition than I have come to expect. I have tried a dozen times to complete a return online and the website will just not process it. I have now tried to call six times over a week and have done nothing but sit on hold.

Have been waiting almost two months for refunds on clubs that were returned to their dock. Sent item in worse condition than advertised. Emails take 5 days to get a response and all they send is a canned form letter each time. No one answers the phone at customer service either. Never ordering from them again, a complete joke.
Terrible ordering experience
Terrible ordering experience. No actual photos of the clubs on website. Support staff are never available. Going on day 60 of my return and just saw they sent back a gift card instead of a refund as they told me. Golf clubs are expensive, service is important. This system they have sucks. Go to a golf warehouse.
Poor Customer Service
I ordered two clubs--they notified me a week after the order that one of them was out of stock. For the other, they sent a left-handed club instead of a right-handed club. I waited on hold for an hour to speak to someone and gave up. Abysmal customer service. I sent an email and will see if they reply.

This review is about Callaway, not the clubs. I have not played the clubs yet, but they are very similar to my old blades. First off, Callaway ships these clubs without any packing or protection of any kind between the clubs. They just put all the clubs in a box and off they go, subject to getting jostled around and banged up through the course of shipping. Upon inspecting the clubs I see some scuff marks on the backs that are definitely from the lack of protection, as well as a few little dings that could be from the shipping. Then looking at the pitching wedge I see a gap between the ferrule and the club head, and if I hold the grip in one hand and the club head in the other, I can wiggle the head an eight inch or so back and forth. So they don't even do a proper inspection of them before shipping them off. They called the condition of these as very good, but yet one club has a loose club head!! After E-mailing customer service about this, the rep says to take it to a shop and get it fixed!! He did say to send in the bill and they would refund me for it, but frankly I should not have to go get a club fixed, that's their job. I don't happen to live near a golf shop, so it will cost me a lot of time and driving to get a club fixed that should never have arrived like this.

Callaway Pre-Owned received my trade in iron set over a month ago. I still have not received the $500 credit on my credit card. I called and waited 35 minutes on hold before talking to a rep. He informed me that they moved to a new location and they were working on clubs received the day before mine were received. Totally unacceptable for a Company of this size.
Great Service
I ordered a two sets of irons in late February. The clubs were delivered within 5 days from the order date via UPS Ground. The grips on one of the sets were not satisfactory. (3 of the 8 grips were torn) I emailed customer service and within 3 days was issued a partial credit to have the grips replaced. Thanks for the great service.

I had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Jeremy Hylton — Sales Representative. I ordered the wrong club (senior moment) and Jeremy quickly addressed my concerns. Jeremy is a prime example of why I play with Callaway golf clubs and balls. I love dealing with Callaway Preowned.

I’m giving 5 stars on the fact this business has been amazing in the past. The last few orders have been terrible on shipping times. I’m currently still waiting on an order that was placed 1.16.2025 for next day delivery. I got ahold of customer service and the rep explained they have a new wearhouse and also about an ice storm in Texas. I said okay fair enough. Then said well I’m glad I’ve ordered in the past to know how good of a business this can be. I’ve ordered about 10 times from them and two out of 10 isn’t that bad. I wrote 1 star the last order I was pretty upset and didn’t know they reasons on the bad business. My word of advice is order with the mind frame it’s going to be a few weeks and don’t next day air anything. It won’t come any sooner than normal. The pre owned clubs come almost new and they have a high demand because they are cheap
Sent wrong club
They have been my family’s choice for three generations. But I’m sure if there customer service was like this years ago that would be a different story. You can’t get ahold of the customer service and only computer generated emails going almost a month now after they sent the wrong club with no refund exchange or contact.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. If I can give 0 stars I would. Never buy from this company again. The first sent me a left handed iron when I ordered a right handed. They then were going to send me a replacement for it but they canceled that order. I mailed the club back and still waiting over a month for the refund. They don’t refund you the whole amount even if they made the mistake. They do not hold up their end of a transaction and will just keep your money. And God forbid if you have to call them to fix the issue, you will be on hold for over an hour. This is the worst customer service.

Horrible experience !!! Ordered 2 used clubs on Dec 3...status was "Processing" 10 days later but my CC was charged. I called and was lied to, the guy said there was no problem and they were "getting shipped".
I received the cancellation email 10 more days later. No apology whatsoever. The clubs are now 3 times as much ! Awful business...STAY AWAY !
Callaway Golf - the Grinch that stole Christmas.
Ordered & paid for a set of clubs for my wife 3 weeks ago, and confirmed by email & a call to customer service that they were being sent. We called yesterday for the shipping status and were told Callaway had canceled the order without telling us and online order showed it was still being processed. One week before Christmas!! Many reviews with same issue.

Normally like what I buy here. They say preowned but is often brand new ( I always buy from the "like new" column ) My last purchase, however, has been a terrible experience. I ordered two clubs and paid via Pay pPal. After a few days there was no confirmation, so I called. It was one of the few times lately I've been able to reach a human, but I got lucky that time. I was told they were having trouble processing pay pal payments, and he said the best thing to do is to re-order with different payment method and he would cancel first order and payment for same. So I reordered as instructed, but they never cancelled the first order which resulted in them sending me what was supposed to be cancelled. Funny that Pay Pal payment worked just fine. Obviously, I don't need two of the same clubs, so I followed their process and returned the shipment. Despite UPS proof of delivery, it's been almost a month since they received the package and they still haven't refunded the money, even though I contacted them several times. Today I received an email which said I would receive the refund within 6 days. I buy a lot of things online, no one has ever taken this long nor treated me this way. This experience has negatively impacted my love of Callaway PreOwned, and I would have a hard time ordering from them again.

Do not buy! I purchased a used iron set from them 3 weeks before Christmas. I never received a shipping notice so I reached out through email. Their response was that they no longer had the set in stock, so my order was cancelled. They weren’t even going to let me know until god knows when of the cancellation & now I had to find a replacement a week before the holiday. Terrible business.

Not the Best Customer Service Experience.. But!!
When I recently ordered a paradym 7 wood, I received confirmation then heard nothing else. Fearing I was scammed I emailed them, but again, heard nothing. Then a few days later I received a despatch confirmation and within two days it arrived, beautifully packaged, fantastic condition. So not the best forward facing customer service, but 10/10 for the product etc ..
