I didn't realize when I received an additional 10% discount (to match what Trail was giving me) that it cancel "installment" of fridge.
I tried Canadian Appliance (big mistake) and I will return to Trail Appliance now.

Not the best service, installation service they offer is the worst. People they work with are not competent and cannot install appliances properly. The sales managers are not responsive. After selling the product they do not pick up the phone, do not respond mails and not care about the client. Would not use them again and do not recommend to anyone!

The driver was an 1 1/2 hours away and called to give us the time they would arrive . We were treated very well and would recommend you to our friends and family. Good old fashioned service!!!!

The service and advice was excellent in the showroom. Amandir was very knowledgeable and suggested a perfect
option for me. Communication was great and he did everything to help me get my appliance before I went away. The delivery was efficient, and right on time. I would not hesitate to purchase my next appliance here!

Davinder listened well to our needs and showed us four excellent choices in refrigerators that checked all of our boxes. We chose the fourth model he showed us that had two small features the others didn’t have but it actually made us giddy. We won’t receive delivery until March 23 but we are very much looking forward to receiving it.

Arranging my delivery by phone for my newly purchased range was very easy and fast. Yudish R. made my experience smooth and pleasant, being very knowledgeable about the process. He explained everything clearly in a polite manner.

Delivery day
The installer was unable to install the dryer due to a missing drain hose assembly kit (heat pump dryer that requires a drain hose) - he called CAS during the install and I talked to a support person who indicated that my options were to either have CAS look in the warehouse to see if the parts were there, or to have replacements parts ordered on my behalf - I elected for the former based on the assumption that it might be faster. The support person indicated that they would follow up with me promptly.
3 business days after delivery
Phone call #1: I called the after sales support line to inquire about the status of the drain hose - I was first directed to submit a Returns and Exchanges request indicating that I needed a drain hose.
No update regarding my case.
After the phone call, I discovered that it was impossible to submit a Returns and Exchange request for the dryer as it was a floor model.
Phone call #2: I indicated the Returns and Exchange request was impossible to do, and was then directed to contact the after sales email.
No update regarding my case.
Email #1: I emailed the after sales support email inquiring about an update regarding my case.
5 business days after delivery
Phone call #3: After sales support indicated that I shouldn’t expect a response in less than two business days. Was told to expect a follow-up.
No update regarding my case.
Phone call #4:
Left a message with the sales person explaining the missing parts, hoping for assistance in resolving the situation.
No call back.
6 business days after delivery
Phone Call #5: Called during support hours and was disconnected after 10 minutes on hold.
Phone Call #6: Called again, was told there was no path to escalation.
No update regarding my case.
Email #2: Emailed again, asking for an update on my case.
Summary
Every phone call that wasn't disconnected involved a 20 minute hold time, so I've now spent over two hours on the phone, with zero updates regarding the install kit that CAS promised to supply, and no phone calls or emails replied to. It's now been over a week since delivery and I still don't have either a functional dryer, or any update or communication from CAS regarding the state of my case.

I purchased a new GE fridge from CAS that was delivered on September 27, 2025. Within the first hour, it flooded three times. I contacted CAS immediately but didn’t hear back for three days.
It’s now been over four weeks, and I still have no functioning fridge and no clarity on when it will be repaired or replaced. My family is using our old fridge in the garage and buying bottled water just to get by.
Every communication from CAS has been automated and impersonal. Despite multiple calls and emails, no one has ever phoned me back. This has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
I strongly recommend not buying from CAS if you expect any level of customer support or accountability once your product is delivered.

I was hesitant about buying from this company as the store was housed in a strip mall that had definitely seen better days. However, a relative reassured me that they bought a range from CAS in Calgary and they did not have any problems.
My experience was totally different.
The appliances that I wanted to order weren't in stock of course but the more expensive line was available. I ordered a four-appliance package, and the salesperson immediately starts with trying to get me to buy extended warranty packages for my "peace of mind". I declined and set up a delivery date which got switched around a few times.
When the appliances arrived the delivery people stained the carpet outside my condo and did not report that they had soiled the carpet while removing the old washer and dryer. They delivered a fridge that had significant scratches and dings on the side. They delivered a stacked washer and dryer without a back leg.
The post-delivery team demanded photos be sent via email. I did not have access to email because I was in the middle of a move. I went back to the store in Calgary to get the salesperson to send in my claim to the post-delivery team. The response I got from the post-delivery team was less than satisfactory. They offered me a two-year extended warranty on the damaged fridge because they didn't want to have to come out and deliver a new fridge. I asked for a price reduction if I consented to keep the fridge and the post-delivery person responded that they would have to talk to their manager. They would get back to me within 48 hours. It has now been five days, and I've heard nothing. When I phoned four times after the 48-hour period had passed the response from the customer service personal was to ask why I was calling and that they wanted me to send in further photos. Their attitudes were condescending and rude.
The post-delivery team has not addressed the soiled carpeting, nor have they addressed the missing leg on the stacked washer and dryer.
I will never buy an appliance from this store again. Nor will I ever recommend that anyone buy from this store.

I can hardly believe a 4.2 star rating. Giving it a 1 star is over-rating I would say.
Customer Service Non-Existent – Buyers Beware!
I ordered a new range and ventilation hood from Canadian Appliance Source. While the range was delivered on time, I immediately discovered that the cooktop wasn’t working. I requested a replacement, and now it’s been five days with zero progress.
The issue? Their sales team, delivery team, and "customer support" all operate in silos — completely independent of each other. This might be convenient for CAS, but it’s a complete nightmare for the customer.
Their so-called “customer support” is nothing more than a call center. The agents are clearly not informed and have no authority. All they can do is direct you to email aftersales_at_canadianappliancessource.ca — and then you wait. Calling the support line (option #3) is entirely pointless and offers no resolution.
If you're considering buying from CAS, be warned — once they have your money, you’re on your own.

Just want to share some of my experience when purchasing appliances from Canadian Appliance Source CAS
Don’t buy the products from CAS
CAS are advertising for free delivery and set up, connecting water line, haul away. But thier policy didn’t work as they promised when I purchased the refrigerator. The delivery guys didn’t have proper tools to put the bottom of the refrigerator together. They Did not know how to connect the water line into the refrigerator. When I purchased the product at CAS showroom. I asked the salesman that I don’t want the fridge to be haul away but I want to relocate it to the basement, he told me the delivery team definitely will do that. But when we mentioned to delivery team, they told me that it not thier job. They left the new fridge and the old fridge in my kitchen and I can not use any of them. I call customer service, the first customer service representative put me back on hold for 30 minutes. The second one said he will contact the delivery team and call me back within the day of delivery but nobody calls me back. I call back the next day and the third one told me he will schedule someone come to finish the job but I have to wait until he can schedule some one. I told him I can’t wait as my food are on the counter I need the refrigerator right away. and I have to pay someone to connect the water line for new refrigerator and move the old one to basement. I want the refund for that cost. He said the service is free so no refund. That means thier service is terrible and they are lie to customers. I had very terrible experience with customer service of CAS. The 3 things they promised me, nothing gets done. It was my first time purchasing something from them and it’s the last time.

Worst experience I've ever had with The Canadian Appliance Source.
Purchased a range Bosch .We were told that installation was included. When the delivery guys came, they just dropped off the appliances and notice the range doesn’t fit .They leave it and left.
I called in right away to report the issue. But they wash their hands off you. If you open the packaging you void your warranty.
They did very good business with the Delivery Company together. The delivery guys took off all the packaging without my consent in the truck, I didn’t even see the box, so who knows if there even was one. When I called, they refused an exchange or refund. I told them that I wasn't the one to remove it, the delivery guys did.
Finally they said the restocking fee is 38%.From start and on site was 25%. After 2 days they sent an email saying 38% FOR A NEW, WITH ALL Packaging still intact and not touched INSIDE .We sent them all of the pictures.
This is their policy: As per our Return Policy CAS would take back appliances as long the request is reported within 7 days and as they are in their original packaging, at no penalty.
If an appliance is open and the request is submitted after 7 days, a 25% restocking is applicable..
Be very careful when you buy from The Canadian Appliance Source!!!

ZERO stars (won't allow a post unless at least one star is selected). BUYER BEWARE. On the long July weekend 2023, I walked into CAS, gave the salesperson the dimensions of the fridge opening in my kitchen, and was given only two models that would fit (due to height restriction). I bought one and it was delivered two days later. I had to leave it for 2-3 hours before unpacking it only to discover It did not fit because it was too tall. I had no choice but to plug it in and use it (or lose hundreds of $ of food). I reached out immediately but they would not consider exchange because it was used. For months I talked to multiple people at CAS to no avail. One of them suggested I sell the fridge and they may consider a refund for the difference. So that's what I did but the run around continued. At that point I had paid for two fridges and sold one at a loss. I contacted the BBB and after a lot of back and forth, CAS wore me down and I agreed to a $230 refund. I'm out $550 and months of trying to get results all because of a salesperson's error. I have seriously never experienced such horrendous customer service.
When CAS responds to this review I fully expect it to mean as much as it did when they responded via the BBB communication. It sounds 'good' but it means nothing. They do not follow up with anything they say. It is meaningless. Stay away from this company.
