Order an oil filter it arrived with damage to it, made contact with a Dominic and he didnt want to know. After telling him and explaing they had to send out a replacement quoting the law the only way to get a new filter was for me to send it back to get a refund and reorder. How is this right

Much the same story as others have reported. Bought a coolant expansion tank for a Ford Fiesta December 2014 with "2 year warranty". By late January 2016 it had burst. I urgently needed the car to be reliable so had to buy another locally, straight away and fit it. My attempts to get a refund have been metr with delayed responses and the further delaying tactic of another question (or doubtful relevance) every time. No responses at all from them for more than two weeks now.

Delivered to the wrong address and blamed me. Will not issue refund. Rude and unprofessional in communications. Do not use this company. Reviews are automated in a positive way by AI. If no review is left by buyer.

sells stuff and dont honour the warranty. wants letter headed company info, wants my skilled credentials as a fully qualified mechanic. palms you off all the time . i provided all the pictures of the part took off and the new one fitted. just bombarded with waffle. dont buy anything from these crooks.

Purchased an abs hub off this company which when fitted turned out to be faulty texted company via ebay and various questions asked answered them all heard nothing for a week asked for update on this and got more silly questions asked which come across as delay tactics had buy another hub assembly from another company due to them messing me around they've now requested more information which is absurd so please avoid this time wasting company.

Terrible service.
Tried calling to order some parts.
But no answer.
Ringing out long time.
Give up in the end went somewhere else

I purchased an item (windscreen washer pump) in February and it stated it had a one year warranty. 7 months later it failed letting water into the electronics. When I contacted them they only replied at the end of each day with one single question then one more the next and so on. One day car reg next day order number next how many times did i use the pump, how many times have I used the car from it was fitted. After two 3 weeks of this they ask me for a headed letter from mechanic stating they fitted it. Next question would have been get the part inspected by an autospark im sure and send the report. This is an obvious tactic to steer me away due to the hassle involved. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS GO ELSEWERE !!! not worth the hassle. You have been warned. Cheap parts. I am surprised it lasted that long to be honest.

Like others have said do not use this company customer service is appalling no warranty on any part sold

Simply don't purchase any from this micky mouse unless you wish to waist your time and money. They are giving an fake 2 years warranty for fake cheap counterfeit parts.

WARNING like others have said DO NOT buy anything from this company!!! Wished I had read the reviews first.

Even if the item you purchase develops a fault within the so called warranty period, they will not honour it!

I bought a heater fan and it failed after 6 weeks. After weeks and weeks of ridiculous email questions from the seller, I too eventually received an email asking me to provide them with a headed letter from a fully qualified mechanic outlining the faults in detail. I DID THIS but they still refused to give me a new part.

You cannot telephone them. The email process took me 4 months.

I too have been left with a broken part, no heat in my car in the winter, no warranty, no refund and out of pocket.

AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I BOUGHT AN ITEM FROM THEM AND IT FAILED AFTER TWO MONTHS, AFTER WEEKS OF RIDICULOUS EMAIL QUESTIONS FROM THE SELLER, I EVENTUALLY RECEIVED AN EMAIL ASKING ME TO PROVIDE THEM WITH A HEADED LETTER FROM A FULLY QUALIFIED MECHANIC OUTLINING THE FAULTS IN DETAIL.



I'VE BEEN LEFT WITH A BROKEN PART, NO WARRANTY, NO REFUND AND OUT OF POCKET.

SO PLEASE BEWARE!! AND DON'T GET STUNG LIKE ME!.

Bought a part from this company when fitting found that it was poorly manufactured and i had to sand the plasic down where the radiator pipe connected as i was stranded without said part and would loose time at work if my car was off the road . Less that two weeks later the part has failed the electrical side of the part but the seller refuses to accept a return . Now left stranded and out of pocket due to this company selling inferior quality ill fitting parts that have now failed . Not a happy customer .

Let me tell you about my experience dealing with Carspares direct.
Via Ebay purchased a EGR valve 5th october. Delivered 8th october.
The packaging was a joke with grubby finger marks all over it.
On fitting this part noticed fumes entering the cabin. Spoke to carspares direct and they said send it back with a report. I took it to a Main dealer located around 45mins away. They checked my concern and agreed faulty internal machining was causing the fumes to leak. They kindly gave me an official report into there findings. Carspares direct told me to use there recommended courier EVRI which to be fair were reasonable. Photo's were attached with proof of fault and report. It had gone past the 30 days window but i said it was defective part and it has a 2 year guarantee. Because i had left them such a poor review they told me to amend this then the refund would be issued. Now i dont like falsifying reviews but did it with a view to receiving my refund. I was so wrong!
The messaging service on Ebay is a joke! Carspares direct stopping replying to my request for a refund once i had done this.
Contacted Ebay they could see every message i had sent to this company.
Now Ebay always asks buyer's to connect with the seller to resolve any issues, I did with no outcome accept contact Citizens advice or my bank.
I have given Ebay feedback 1 star as they have been useless even this morning. I received a email this morning from Carspares direct telling me they would block and report my emails as spam as they have no links to the carspares direct Ebay team. I explained they are blocking my messages also. All i want is my refund for the defective part that has been returned to them.
I found the Owners name a Mr Mohammed Gulzaar on companies house, he will be getting a letter too about the poor service i have received from his company.
As for now i will warn as many people on as many media platforms to stay away from this company.

Terrible tin pot company don’t use.
Just like all the other bad reviews oh in fact they don’t have 1 review higher than shocking.
Purchased an item from eBay item lasted less than 1 day, contacted them and yes they reply but just drag it out with irrelevant questions.
2 years warranty my backside.

I tried to return an item that has broken within a year of purchase and they just ask question after question trying to get you to quit.
It’s been going on for 15 days now absolute joke of a company avoid at all costs.

This company is an absolute shambles of a business. My personal experience of this incompetent company is that I ordered a part that didn't fit the vehicle, this company refused to refund and take the part back and then even had the audacity to offer to sell me the correct part. Please beware everyone and do not use this company, there customer service is shocking and just want to take your money. DO NOT USE this company and advise other people to avoid them.

Continued to refuse to refund for faulty part, obviously fake eBay reviews. I continued to complain to eBay even after 30 day limit and did get my money back. If you buy through eBay..don't give up on it. Shut down these scammers.

Absolute crap this company for car parts I would avoid like the plague I bought two rear wheel bearings for my astravan done less than 3 k and put it in for mot they were picked up as faulty and needing replaced the original ones were 14 yrs old and done 135k it’s just rubbish there selling so I contacted them with a letter from the garage and mot inspector and the said there not covered under warranty will deffo be looking into how to proceed they can’t get away with this
