Scam Beware

Reviews on actual website don't be fooled, I fell for this site by sending my new tablet to them (unwanted gift) they told me there was scratches on tablet BS! Gave me a counter offer of £28 instead of the £67 original price so accepted but no money sent to bank so will be reporting company to trading standards and ombudsman, they don't even reply to emails DO NOT RISK!!

Terrible company

Terrible company! Read the fake trust pilot reviews on their website but wish I had checked here first! Sent an iPad quoted £120 good £95 poor condition- had photo evidence of the very good condition it was in. The offered £47 then £55 then £64 and eventually £75. Or £20 to return it. I very reluctantly took the £75 as didn’t want to risk sending £20 and never getting it back. Never sent me proof/ evidence for their low offers. Absolute scam. Took 4 weeks to get my money. Please do not use this company they are a scam!

I wish I read reviews before sending my phone. It's the same outcome as everyone. No replies. Perfect phone in full working condition. I stated it had normal wear and tear and they've come back and advised it has a damaged screen which is a total lie and offered £40 and then raised it to £48. I am taking further action but the ombudsman have said I have to wait 8 weeks before I acn open a case against them. How disgusting that they can carry on operating while STEALING people's property and sending fake links that don't work. This has really upset me profoundly and is really damaging and distressing to my mental health. The ombudsman's website advises it has ti be 8 weeks before you can start a claim. I don't know what to do. If anyone is going ahead with legal proceedings please contact me hijjerry @ gmail.com . The more people they have the better to build a case. I don't know how to contact people on here.

SCAM!!

Please please please THIS COMAPANY IS A SCAM!!!!
My husband and I sent the our ps5 and a tablet without coming here first and we honestly thought we won’t get our money. They reduced the price drastically from the initial agreement saying there was wear and tear and other stupid excuses, we told them to return the devices and they kept increasing the price for the devices until we finally accepted an offer.
They refused to pay after several emails until we threatened to involve our lawyers and sue their company for all their worth before they finally paid!!
Do not use this company!!!

DO NOT

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this company they are fraudulent and have ripped myself and my partner off, they quoted us £175.00 for x2 used mobile phones in good condition. So far my partner has only recieved £60.00 as some sort of token gesture saying that the other one was not up to scratch and it was a "combined offer". I am looking to take this further as my partner has sent several email now with no reply. Absolute fraudsters!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Can't write a review without at least one star!

Recent experience much the same as those before.
Some vague response that my mobile handset did not meet criteria stipulated on the order, with a counter offer of £20 tabled that was quickly rejected ! That was 13 days ago.

No follow up from CYP thereafter to arrange the so called £20 fee in order to return my phone.

I sent a further email which was responsed to with an increased the offer increased to £23. I have since gone back requesting details and evidence to justify this so called 'assessment' carried out as to how they arrived at the original reduced offer of £20 and why this 'grading criteria' was not met. Unsurprisingly no response as yet.

Like others, wish I'd read the reviews. Now im in the same boat as everyone else trying to retrieve my property.

In my opinion, Cashyourphone.co.uk is a dishonest company with little or regards to its 'customers' to honour and abide by their own T&C's set out. Nor operate and conduct business in a legitimate, trustworthy and ethical manner.

Posting FAKE TRUST PILOT REVIEWS underpins and reinforces this view.

It's been nearly two weeks since I sent my phone off in good faith, expecting a service, resulting in the purchase of my Samsung Galaxy S20 handset, which has failed to materialise. They have basically stolen my property and have stopped all forms communication with me despite several attempts on my part to contact them. I refuse to pay the £20 fee on the understanding that they will return my phone, given what's gone before and zero confidence I'll receive it.

What to do next!?!?!? Thoughts welcomed by all those in a similar position.

SCAM!!

I waited until I received my payment before leaving a review. All I can say is that I wonder how this company has managed to continue trading; they are absolute cowboys.

I sent in a brand-new PS5 Disc Edition, which I won in a raffle, that retails for £480. It was completely untouched, unblemished, and still in its original box.

I obtained a quote on their website, which indicated I would receive £310 based on the estimation of the product, considering the console had not been opened.

I received an email stating that due to the box being "damaged," they could only offer me £140. I informed them that this offer was completely unreasonable and requested my console back as soon as possible.

They sent me a link to pay a £20 charge for reissuing the console. When I tried the link, it did not work. I began to panic and checked their Trustpilot page, realizing that the positive reviews were likely fake and the genuine reviews were overwhelmingly negative.

I threatened to involve the police if they did not provide a working link to pay for the return of my item. They then increased the offer to £164. I reiterated that this was still unacceptable, and they raised it to £190.

Realizing that this negotiation could go on indefinitely, I decided to accept my loss and agreed to sell it for £220.

I had to email them multiple times this morning before they issued the payment, citing an "error" with their systems last night.

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Please stay far away!

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. I sent over 3 tablets. Perfectly fine before sending. When receiving the items made some silly remarks about the device's. So I requested to send back my device's. Been 5 days no response from them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Completed the form online for a quote for my iPhone 11 Pro Max, was quoted £240. I sent my phone off to them and they then said my phone wasn’t up to standards and is only worth £70 because the battery was 85%, I can either accept the offer of £70 or have the phone returned to me by paying £20. I’ve searched their Terms and Conditions on the website and NOWHERE does it state that your battery has to be 100%, it advises that if your battery has to be replaced due to the phone not switching on then the phone is classes as ‘faulty’ hence the lower offer. The battery on my phone works fine, I’ve had the phone for almost 5 years and had no issues. The T’s & C’s also state that there is a fee of £20 to return the phone WHERE THE INCORRECT ADDRESS has been provided - this is NOT the case, they have my correct address as that’s where they collected the phone from. I’ve put all of this in emails to them multiple times attaching screenshots of their own terms and conditions and had no response other than I owe them £20 if I want my phone back. This is an absolute scam - avoid avoid avoid !!!

BEWARE - DO NOT USE THEM

Whatever you do it is imperative that you do not go through this company to sell anything.
They are not trustworthy and are disreputable.
My experience is disastrous having sent an iPad Pro
with a valuation of £470. A counter offer for £210 was rejected as there was nothing wrong it. I then contacted them to ask for the iPad to be returned but for some reason they sent me £210.
No more communication with them for over a week now and I have stated that I will be contacting Greater Manchester Police.

Brokenhearted what a scam

I'm grieving so much going on in my life but found this site praying selling all I had as an option for money made me lift with hope. I treasured my items. When counter offer came through on text I was so ready to feel faith to have heart shreadded they offered me COMBINED £60.00 OFFER NOT £161.00. If I reject £20.00 charge this is from company who has free delivery pick up??? To everyone that struggles this site has abused us and shown no compassion truly vile disgusting and ill human. I have no family, my dog has just died and also suffering hate crimes and explained so friendly what this money would mean and they con us ignore emails and have taken our items hostage plus made us feel even worse than we do. HOW COULD THEY DO THIS I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THIS COMPANY.

Firstly I’ve only marked one star as that’s the lowest it will allow me to.
I valued the iPhone 13 Pro and was given a price of £360 as the condition was good and matched the criteria in the selection box. The phone was picked up and received an offer of £130 which put in the poor category despite not meeting any of that criteria on the website. Declined and they made a further offer of £156, the value of the phone is worth more but can’t be bothered with the runaround. It has been a week and have still not received payment. Received emails blaming other departments, but and I can’t stress this enough this company is a scam and extraordinarily dishonest.

This company is dishonest

This company is dishonest. Send you a different valuation once received your goods. A valuation which isn’t listed in any of the three they send you. When declining the offer they do not respond as to how to get your goods back. Silence from over 10 emails then respond saying a different departments fault they will sort it. Then pay a low amount into your bank even though you’ve declined offer and asked for your phone back!

UPDATE - Contact Greater Manchester Police

UPDATE
I haven't received any money from them or had my phone returned. I used them based on their 5-star Trustpilot rating, but I think they copied and pasted it and made up the names to look genuine. I've reported my phone as stolen to the Greater Manchester Police. If enough people do this, maybe the sheer number of complaints will lead to a prosecution. Whether we will get compensated or not, I don't know.
