The lady who showed us the property we purchased, Fatima was lovely and helpful. She gave us good time to view the property.
I have high rated this review because I managed to purchase my first home with Chancellors , although it was a bumpy and stressful experience for me..For once after placing our offer which was accepted, instructions were not clear , or rather did not come in a easily explained way to a layman who has no experience of purchasing a property, on the next stages. We were not well informed about how to verbally instruct the solicitors to go ahead with the sale although we had paid some payments. On another point there was no information regarding progress coming from the solicitors meanwhile we were happily waiting for progress when infact we were informed we had not instructed them to progress with buying the property. I felt Chancellors could have done better than this such as 'holding the hand 'of the new buyer and letting them know of each and every step so that they are in the know of what is going on. It took 2 weeks before we were told that we had not instructed the solicitors to move this our case and therefore , there was no progress. This broke my heart.
I was not particularly happy with the solicitors Chancellors referred us to, Convey Law.. we had to chase up the solicitors asking them how far our case was going on. This was disapointing as i was expecting them to make this purchase their project. Once again we were delayed by 2 weeks and some days because exchanged reports were said to have been gone into spam. This once again broke my heart.
Things were eventually speeded up by Convey Law much to my surprise, although i was already distresed and quite anxious. The sale was eventually completed and Convey Law completed the work with amazing speed..

Finally, do Chancellors not give cup cakes to the new landlord/lady as a thank you for doing business with them? My 2 cousins were given 'Well come to the new home'cup cakes on the day they picked up the keys.

Our experience dealing with Chancellors estate agents has been fantastic. The whole team have been great, all very friendly and easy to deal with. We have sold our house in 10 days and are over the moon.

Fatima has been unbelievable for us throughout this whole period of buying a house.
We had an awful experience with another Estate Agent and Fatima absolutely done everything in her power to stop this happening again.
Fatima has been there for us from the day she showed us around the property to now the day before we are due to complete.
We know it's not Fatima's job to take care of us when it gets passed to the after sales team but she continued to go above and beyond after that point.
She kept checking in with us to make sure everything was ok and we were on track.
She replied to every single query very very promptly and no question was left unanswered. Fatima completely changed our house moving experience for the better and honestly we will be making sure we return to her in the future when we want to sell our own house. She is a absolute credit to the team. So personalised and just overal a lovely women. Thank you for everything!

Fatima was brilliant throughout the whole process and really informative. I had so many questions from the get go but Fatima was efficient and professional when it came to providing me with an answer.

As an investor I was highly satisfied with the service I received during negotation and viewings with Fatima. She was well informed about the property and those involved which helped me to make a quick informed decision for an offer. Fatima, along with Leandro, were able to negotiate with the vendor very quickly even with a slightly complicated situation, and always keeping me up to date so I wasn't left waiting and wondering. Post offer-accepted Faitma has continued to be helpful in all regards answering questions, liaising between myself and then vendor, setting up follow up viewing and all done in a timely fashion. I feel confident with my purchase having Fatima to call on knowing I'm in very capable hands with someone who is prepared to do the necessary to give a valuable service on behalf of Chancellors.

Fatima has gone over and above my expectations, she's very easy to talk to always available to talk about any issues or concerns about selling my flats. Chancellors were extremely helpful in arranging viewings and providing information on the property. If you had a question which they were not able to answer immediately, they were upfront and honest about it but would always find out and come back to you fairly quickly. Someone was always available on the phone if you had any questions or just wanted information around the buying process. Great service provided by a friendly and professional team at both the Hemel Hempstead and Chesham branch. I would highly recommend Chancellors to anyone looking to buy a property, as the service they provide from outset is excellent.
