Blood tests. No appt needed. Just turn up
The blood taking service is fine. But the website says if you are coming with tests requested by your GP you need to book online or phone. You don't. Just turn up. How hard is it to change the website?
Thank you to Neptune ward nurses
Thank you to all the lovely nurses on Neptune ward you have all been so kind and amazing to me throughout all my stays when I stayed in December one of the nurses did her hair like Anna and Elsa from frozen which I loved so much!! Another nurse when she saw me in January always sang into the unknown which made me very happy the nurses have inspired me to become a childrens nurse when I’m older so that’s what I’m hoping to do so thank you so much Neptune ward keep on Being amazing !!💕x
Please don't take your loved ones to this hospital
Please don't take your loved ones to this hospital. It will accelerate their death. It happened to my elderly father. I was desperate trying to find answers for my father's health and nurses were laughing on my back bullying me. My father passed away. He couldn't eat and they couldn't decided what to give to him instead. It took to long for the dietician to approve another form of feeding and he died. Traumatic experience I had. Two months on and I am still very ill due to my father's death.
I have been going to CWH as its my…
I have been going to CWH as its my local NHS hospital for over 20 years and the change in quality of care and time has gone downhill. The staff are amazing and the people who work their do an amazing job but their waiting times have increased and the AnE has become so disorganised.
IF YOU WANT YO DIE GO AND SIT THERE
They are taking people randomly based on their opinion of emergency regardless of your time of arrivals, so if you really sick, it does not matter until you come without your two legs you !!! OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE ROTTEN ON THEIR CHAIRS!!! THE WORST HOSPITAL OF ALL TIME!!! Waist of time!!! Not smart NURSES AND BRAINLESS DOCTORS!!! Stay home and die silently would have been my best option instead of going to these bunch of nonsenses brainless uneducated people
Results of URGENT Xray lost? still waiting 2 months later!!
My mother was sent for Xray of the lungs (not COVID related) marked "URGENT".
she went to have the Xray the next few days (no appointment) which was hopeful.
But it has been 2 months, not even the GP knows what happened to it !
LOSING AN URGENT XRAY , how is this even possible?
No info, no news to her or the GP.
Are we really in a developed country?
Not only that, it happened on several occasions for me as well!
Maternity Care - unbelievable
Absolutely breaks my heart that i didn't change hospital after having my first baby here. The prenatal care was none existent my final appointment was with a midwife who was paid to come in as a temp. i had no idea what to expect or even discussed my birth plan in further detail. In fear, medical notes all mixed up even after birth, baby didn't come on expected due date so i just rocked up the next day as advised by a very kind receptionist not midwife.
Absolutely traumatic birth ended with a emergancy c section. I was in agony, trying to look after a new born, ward was so loud it was actually torture being so sleep deprived. Barely walking like a cripple for over 3 half weeks after dispatch, with no understanding or support to what to expect when recovering from a c section. I didn't think my recovery was right, c&w only offered a zoom physio call ( which was also mixed up with prenatal ) and had to return to hospital where a saint of a midwife observed and advised straight away what could be the cause of my severe pain, she noticed my uterus had not gone down and the other doctors chose to delay urgency and did want to take tests, scan?! Ended up begging to leave, to find another a&e in desperation to get a scan.
Doctor, midwives kept saying i was a anxious person and was all in my head, even though i can barely walk and in constant firing pain. I persisted for a ultrasound scan to find out they had left clotting and pieces of conception inside me and had to have a emergency op to have it removed. Even after this op they forgot to give me some pain relief, keep me warm, eat, drink ... i ended up having a body spasm reaction screaming for help (understanding now caused from a lack of calcium) and only the surgeon could rectify what was happening to me and to take drugs, water ect. Whereas all the other midwives just watched and told me to breathe, as the reaction travelled round my body like cerebral palsy. It's been 4months+ now and I can't even walk at a fast pace. Just left disabled, seeking private as I cannot live in pain daily, with an ever growing baby to look after. I cannot believe this is the care for childbirth in 2021. RUN from this hospital. Maternity ward needs to be shut down and reevaluated - completely dangerous, this should not be dismissed.
No matter how busy this boots is
No matter how busy this boots is, its a 40minute min waiting time for a perscription. Why? Just because its Chelsea and Westminster? Absolutely hopeless for a hospital this size, they also make it as difficult as possible to reassign your perscription to your local GP. Also rude and a case of you better just accept it.
Incompetent Managers & Hospital
Incompetent Managers and Seniors. What a utter disgrace to the Deputy Manager James Manager Lee and Manager Lisa Fuller.
Wasted a great deal of my time, wasted my annual leave as well as money.
I was offered a job only to be told after 4 weeks that the offer has been revoked on information which I already provided the managers when applying for the job.
After the interview, references and all sorts, I was told your employment has been rejected.
Cost me my original job, cost me time, cost me money, fuel and a great deal of stress.
How can managers be so stupid or blind? Upon investigation, I was told a manager whom doesn’t work for the organisation made the decision, this person never met me, never took my interview and yet was given the power to made decisions. Lisa who took the interview vanished for over 4 weeks and left me hanging. James the deputy manager told me the decision is final and didn’t bother helping me in anyway what so ever.
I feel Racially attacked. I feel depressed. I am stressed. I lost money, time, fuel, annual leave and my job. What an utter disgrace to these senior managers who played with my career.
If these managers can’t make correct recruitment decisions how will they improve patient care??? How will they implement new innovations??? Remember these People, James Deputy Manager, Lee Manager and Lisa Fuller Manager. These people are useless and only there to feed their belly. They have no interest for the public or staff.
Incomplete response to Subject Access Request
I wasted a great deal of time and incurred expenses to try and obtain my blood test results via a SAR under the GDPR. I had twice been sent the results without the ref ranges, rendering then useless.
So I made a SAR and specifically requested the ref ranges. I simply received what I had already been sent 2 x, thus bringing the full number of incomplete responses to THREE.
I incurred charges for making the SAR and had to take time off work to queue to collecting the response at the PO. When I contacted the relevant dept about the incomplete response, I was stunned by the ghetto-style lack of social skills. An argumentative male said “We’re not medical staff”. That was his excuse, which is nonsense. They are required to obtain the info from the relevant department.
I have now given up because the OIC takes 12 weeks to investigate such service failures by which time the results will be so dated they are totally meaningless.
Staff need urgent training in understanding statutory obligations under the GDPR, as well as communications and customer service training. They should be reminded that we actually fund them through our taxes.

Chelsea and Westminster hospital -
Reception on the private session, they provide an absolutely disgraceful service. I booked an appointment and did blood test and I had to chase them to get confirmation about the appointment, no blood test result. Then, the receptionist told to transfer my call to the nurse without no success. They tried to get rid off you over the phone.
