From my initial enquiry right through to delivery of my new piano, Coach House Pianos were exceptional. Communications with all departments were prompt, helpful and polite. They made me feel like I was the only customer.
Delivery of my piano was on time and the guys were so good-humoured, even after a really long journey. They made lifting a grand piano look easy!

The London showroom I visited has a fantastic stock of excellent pianos. Gary, and his colleagues, are genuinely hugely knowledgeable about pianos and motivated to ensure customers get the best piano for their requirements. They are frank, honest and very straightforward - the quality and presentation of their pianos speak for themselves, and pushiness or 'hard-sell' tactics are not part of their business model. The piano movers they commissioned on my behalf were truly excellent, and very good value for money. I would advise any would-be buyer that unless you have an advanced technical understanding of pianos, and access to professional restorers, then the private second-hand market and auction houses are too risky a prospect for second-hand pianos and you should put yourself in the hands of this highly reputable dealership instead. They also sell new pianos, and I would certainly come here if I were in the market for a brand new model.

Coach House Pianos make the process of choosing and buying a piano as friendly and enjoyable as you can imagine. They have been extremely patient with my tedious process of trying and exploring all the pianos, have provided excellent advice and answered endless questions with utmost tolerance. They really followed me on this journey which led to purchasing three pianos and took over a year, but at no point did they show any frustration or rush. They have such a professional, friendly and helpful team that I will always go back to them. They have also shown incredible understanding and flexibility around payment schedules and delivery dates.

I just want to thank Coach House Pianos for making our piano purchase an unforgettable experience. On the day of our appointment we had an idea of which upright we were interested in but were introduced to so many to try out at our leisure. Lucas was so welcoming, professional and incredibly knowledgeable sharing many amazing stories and facts with us about the pianos and their origins. We were even given an opportunity to play several grand pianos which was amazing. All of the advice we were given was first class and I wouldn’t go anywhere else to shop for pianos in the future!

What a kind man Gary at Coach house pianos is. He called to see if I had had any further thoughts on buying a piano after I had visited CH some months ago.

I told him I’d bought a G5 Yamaha at auction, and Gary spent time talking about my purchase and offered his advice, with absolutely no hesitation he gave me the name of a technician he’d worked with to help bring the piano up to an even better standard with absolutely no agenda.

Professional throughout, from choosing pianos, advice given, and expert delivery, with very good communication at every stage. The end product has made a huge difference to our Music School.

We visited the showroom in London by appointment and both Dan and Lucas were very friendly and helpful. Having played various different pianos, I fell in love with the Steinway which is the one I chose after a few days. Dan is very personable and makes the buying decision very easy without being pushy in any way. A delight to do business with and a business I wholeheartedly recommend. Even presented my wife with a very thoughtful and insightful gift upon delivery of my new piano. For me, 88 keys of pure joy.

The whole shopfloor experience was excellent; Lucas in London and Aled in Swansea helped me to find the piano I would love. Lucas created a sense of understanding hospitality and honesty, giving me time and space to try out a range of piano models and answering questions patiently. We visited both showrooms; but the Coach House company will shift pianos from one showroom to the other if it helps the customer. There is a diverse range across two showroom floors in Swansea where the musical and intuitive Aled was really lovely and helpful ; he listened carefully to understand and get to know which pianos I might like to try and then left me to get to know the pianos I felt might be of interest. We did find my perfect piano ; and it was a good price, and I sensed, a fair overall deal.

With personal access to the London showroom in Chelsea for two hours or so, I was able to play a great variety of pianos and choose one that suited my requirements without any time pressure.

Lucas was very helpful and offered gentle guidance.

So much better than my three visits to other companies.

Delivery and siting was surprisingly easy.

I'm loving playing my piano and it sounds great!

Against my expectations I had very bad experience with this company in connection with the delivery of a piano stool.

This negative experience I have previously reviewed clearly, consequently giving one star.

Since then the company has done everything in its power to ascertain why things went wrong and to correct this where possible.

This included clarifying the failures in the packaging and delivery processes.

This also included on more than one occasion offering to replace the product at the earliest opportunity.

Bearing in mind the trouble the company has taken to investigate and correct the situation I am awarding four stars in this re-assessment.

It's a piano heaven - an instrument range from the finest makers which is out of this world in a showroom that's more like an art exhibition. It was a privilege to buy what was a high end instrument from these people, and even two+ years in, when I've needed it, the aftercare is simply exceptional.

Buying a piano is expensive and can be traumatic. Lucas made the whole thing so easy - I spend over two hours trying pianos in the showroom in Fulham during which time I had the entire place to myself so that I could think about it carefully. If you already own a piano you have loved, the thought of replacing it is difficult anyway, but he talked me through all the options without pushing me towards any one brand or price point. I finally whittled it down to two, then to one, and then wasn't sure, so he arranged another appointment for me to back for ANOTHER two hours to try both grands again, and even then told me to go and sleep on it and not make the decision then and there! The piano I chose was carefully stored for me until I was able to take it, and the superb piano movers were in and out in 25 minutes, talking my much loved old grand piano away kindly and efficiently at the same time.
I am letting the new piano settle in and then I will arrange for it to be tuned etc through Lucas. I cannot commend them highly enough. Thank you to you all!
