The store was beautiful, we draped different fabrics over the sofa we had chosen so that we could feel the materials and see exactly what the upholstery would look like in person, rather than guessing with an online purchase.
Helen was very informative and helpful, laid back with no hard sells.

The table looks beautiful – the quality is outstanding, with a lovely oak top and sturdy painted frame. It extends smoothly and is perfect for family dinners or when we have guests over.
What really stood out was the delivery and assembly service. Mark Scott and Mark Fage came to our house and did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and careful with everything. They assembled the table and all the chairs on the spot, making sure everything was perfect before they left. Top job from start to finish – it made the whole experience stress-free.
Highly recommend both the furniture and the excellent team at Cotswold. Would definitely buy from them again!

staff at Chelmsford store were helpful and friendly. No long waits for delivery.
Joey and Ant delivery staff were efficient and again friendly and took away a bit of packaging from a previous Cotswold delivery, (I had asked for as room wasn't ready).
A suggestion would be delivery charges for large items to be free, although cheaper than a lot of other companies.
Very happy with furniture, very sturdy too.

After a little persuasion the delivery guys placed the drawers into the bedroom as promised. Very pleased with the furniture itself.

We went to the Chelmsford store 13/03/2026. We were specifically looking for a duvet set. Whilst walking around the store, a staff member, who was seated at a desk, asked if we needed help as we looked like trouble! How rude.
My husband and I are of a mature age and have never been told this before. We chose to ignore this comment and were on the verge of walking out and going to The White Company when we saw the duvet set we wanted.
The lady at the checkout was much more pleasant and courteous and made up for the rudeness of her colleague.

Showroom beautifully presented and very helpful staff. Got what I needed too.

Both drivers were professional, polite, and extremely helpful. They asked if I wanted the items unpacked, checked where everything was going, and even took their shoes off without being asked. Very helpful store assistant and bought in store vs online which is never normally do as felt v comfortable due to the service

Our furniture arrived earlier than expected. The delivery team, Asher and Richard, were very nice and placed our sofa and chair just where we wanted them and also took the time to adjust the legs so that they were level.
The sofa and chair are very comfortable and look great in our house.

The staff in store were great, very knowledgeable and helpful.

The staff are always welcoming on arrival to the store, always willing to help without being in your face . The store is always clean and well presented.

Absolutely brilliant as I was able speak to a lovely sales advisor (Yujung) in store through a live video link to my phone, who took me around the store to find the sample which was able to see before making the purchase
I was then able to order the sample and placed my order online.
I heard straight away via email that my 2 set of chest of drawers would be delivered on 17/2.
2 days before delivery I got an email telling me the time slot and they were delivered on the day between the 2 hour slot they gave me by Matt and Santos.
Super helpful guys that took the boxed drawers straight upstairs to bedroom.
The packaging was second to none and no sign of damage.
We purchased Berkeley black chest of drawers x2 - they are perfect - exactly what we wanted and so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all round!
