Very professional service, polite, friendly from start to finish, I would highly recommend

Had to wait 12 weeks for my medium sized laundry basket but was pleased when it arrived.

The assistant was extremely helpful went over and above what I would have expected from a remote video call

We were welcomed on arrival and had excellent service from the lovely staff. One lady even gave my husband the title of a song on their playlist. Above and beyond service, thank you

Initial support form Shop (in Chelmsford) was amazing and staff were helpful. the problems came with our delivery. The boxes were absolutely covered in black filth which brushed walls on moving in and depackaging. this left black unremovable marks on our light walls. the next issue was the damage on the grand dresser and expanding table.
We contacted the company immediately about this damage and they offered compensation for the trouble and diminshed quality and experience, in addition that there 3rd party repair company "Emmiera" (group) would fix the damaged hinges (very bent) scuffed wood and broken shelf stops etc.
We waited some time and recieved two hinges in the post followed eventually by a call from Emmiera to arrange a repair appointment. They arrived and managed to patch the table (but as we pointed out) they needed more parts to fix the dresser so they did some remedial work on the damaged wood but a second appointment would be needed. So we arranged further and with further delays this went back to CWC who again refered to emmiera sent more hinges out to us. finally a fellow from Emmiera who was quite young turned up and attempted to repair the remaining work. The work was very awkward and i had to help hold doors at times to allow him to remove them, we also found that the drill driver he had had rounded off the heads of most of the black screws leaving quite an unprofessional finish.. At the end of the job i spoke to him and said that the work was not complete and further attention was needed, he showed me this on the pad and i signed to say the doors and wood had been sorted.
After this point it went quiet Cotswolds Co did nothing to contact and follow up, i emailed them 5 times trying to chase on which the last email said i signed a full report to say everything had been fully repaired (this is now several months post event) I explained that this hadnt been resolved and the wall despite cleaning was still in need of repainting. From that point we have had no responses despite emailing back on the helpdesk message.

My advice, go elsewhere

You did email us again (thank you) and as we pointed out you have all the pictures and two lots of reports from emmiera group. But despite this you think we should go round the loop again most likely to no resolve. It is clear you feel we are lying despite me stating what we were told by emmiera. You are not trying to help but are wasting time and energy in the hope we give up.

Got treated really well in the shop, arranged for quick delivery, that never happened as the delivery men turned up and only tapped on the door and had to arrange a new delivery.
Eventually received the table, that got installed they took all the packaging which i was extremly happy about.
I then was admiring my new table and chairs and was very disapointed to find a scratch on the table, i contacted customer services via email and advised them of this they contacted me and offered a soultion.

We visited both Chelmsford and Stow on the Wold shops to view and checkout sofa’s. The staff at both were friendly and helpful without being pushy.
We ordered at Chelmsford which again was an easy process with everything explained and gone through thoroughly.
The only fault in the process was the online tracking that wouldn’t let me register despite contacting the team!

So nice to be able to speak directly, to helpful and knowledgable staff. Leonora and Jackie were great.

Robert the sales person was great, took his time, helped us with choices and questioned us to qualify our decisions.

Being able to go into a store, touch and feel the products and see the quality of the furniture first hand was great. We need to use stores like this to ensure there is the ability to see before you buy.

We would highly recommend using The Cotswold Company at Chelmsford.

Love this shop beautiful products

We have been looking for two sofa’s and a dinning room table for a few weeks. We have visited several providers and two Cotswold Company stores. Having made our decision to buy a Hurley 3 seater and Hurley small 2 seater we were served by Robert who made the ordering process painless and straight forward. Delivery arranged and on course.

We went to the Chelmsford store and we were helped by a very helpful assistant, but cannot remember his name! A very professional chap, who was extremely helpful. We put in our order for our kitchen larder. Love shopping at the Cotswolds Company.

We bought a bed for our guest room.a quality bed surround with beech sprung slats. It looks amazing!
