I bought this watch as a gift, relying only on their photos from the Internet; the store itself was found by the photo of the same watch in Google, as a result, everyone was satisfied!)) and my niece, who was intended for the watch: “very delicate”, and me: the parcel arrived as announced, although it was a holiday period, and also the store takes care that their goods correctly pass customs clearance! which is very convenient. I very recommend)

Terrible returns process
Terrible returns process. I echo the thoughts of others on here. I had to chance to be able to return an item I had listed as faulty. They then said no £free returns. which is actually illegal. Under basic consumer rights legislation in the UK (and Europe) you have to give the customer a £free return for a faulty item. I had to point this out to them. Then they asked for photos etc. etc. terrible customer experience for an online retailer. Policies and systems that are out of sync. Most items they sell you can buy elsewhere so I recommend you do that in case the item you receive doesnt fit or isnt right in some way.
Misrepresentation -
Was delighted to see that C&G stocked Anatole umbrellas (to avoid shipping from France). Ordered the ‘orange’. Arrived and it was in fact the ‘rust’. C&G admit they relabelled the colour - they don’t stock the true orange which exists in the range. Their picture also appears orange. Despite agreeing they had caused confusion and it is in fact Anatole’s RUST that they have sent they’re not even willing to offer free returns …. (I also paid expensive DHL delivery for a mislabelled product.)

Expensive postage and returns process
I like to try and buy from independents but the 6.99 postage and the lack of free/subsidised returns allied to the convoluted returns process (register return request then wait quite a few hours for another email confirming return has been accepted) means I won’t be likely to buy online from this store again in the future. I like their range though so may visit when I’m next near the physical store.
Something Beautiful
There is something beautiful and faith-making when a shop not only sells truly lovely things, but also responds immediately and with compassion and action to a customer need. Joe and Jason did that for me. And I am loving the product now even more. Thank you....

Very quickly returned wrong item that was sent, and offered refund after sale prices went up the day after. Great, friendly, quick service.
Helpful & Quick to Respond
Jason was very helpful, I was struggling with a gift card code and he was quick and informative, He attached screenshots that I found helpful. The only comment I would say is the chat function, you have to create a new chat every time to reply. Thanks again Jason for all your help.

Exceptional customer service
Recently bought a jacket for my husband which didn’t arrive. I sent an email to explain that I hadn’t received it, I was slightly concerned as it was low in stock when I bought it so didn’t think I would be able to get a replacement. I received a reply from Afua at customer services who was able to establish that DPD had mislaid the package and arranged for another jacket to be sourced and sent out. The jacket arrived today, my husband is delighted with it and I am delighted with the exceptional standard of customer service I received from Afua who kept me informed at every stage of the process! Will definitely buy from the company again.
Highly recommended.
