Worst delivery company
Worst delivery company. I spent $82.10 to feed my family of 6 and only got 3 of the meals. Was refused a refund and hung up on twice. Live chat was useless, every time I got connected and mentioned my issues they would disconnect and I'd have to wait for another agent.
Horrible customer service and extremely rude.
Theifs!!
Go else where.
Stick with Uber Eats - Poor customer service
Questionable customer service.
A $50 order of a popular fast-food chain that's no more than a few kilometres away took almost an hour to arrive. When it did, the order we were given was for another customer. When I called customer service they offered to refund my order as a credit or to redeliver the meal if I was happy to wait another 45 minutes. I can understand companies like amazon offering a refund or replacement for problems with deliveries but it's not appropriate for food service. If I go to a restaurant and they make me wait an hour, screw up my order, and then make me wait another hour - you had want to bet I'm expecting a discount.
We have hungry children that aren't going to wait another 45 minutes and need to go to bed. A credit on my account with a three-month expiry is not a refund.
After asking to speak with the agents' supervisor I was told that they would say the same thing, when I politely pressed to speak with them anyway I waited on hold for 10 minutes to be told by the same agent that they'd be offering me a $15 credit on my account (with a 3 month expiry) and would arrange for redelivery. I accepted as monetarily I consider this to be almost reasonable, but it's the bare minimum they could have done.
Given that the credit is just enough to cover the cost of my kids' meals, which they are unable to eat as we've had to feed them something else. They will be asleep by the time the food arrives, and I had to push the issue to be heard. I'm still paying full price for a meal that should have been here 90 minutes ago.
Super late, false tracking status, no way to contact them or delivery person
I have order my food at 8pm. The arrival time has updated thrice since then and currently expected at 9:30pm. App says delivery person is ready to go at the restaurant and the restaurant is still preparing food. I called the restaurant. They said food is ready and there is no delivery person. I believe them because I have ordered with them before, and it has never taken this long. Also if a delivery person is engaged, waiting for my order at the restaurant, why is there no name or contact info of the delivery person? Why can't I contact him/her?
Deliveroo is clearly lying about the order status or the system is plain worthless.
Terrible Service.
Terrible Service.
Constantly receiving wrong orders or even cancellation an hour after placing an order. Rider arrived at a closed restaurant half an hour after receiving and confirming order.
Closed my account as there's no point in wasting more time with their unreliable service.
Terrible.
Terrible.
They cost $50 more than another food delivery company for the exact same order. I didn't even get my 'first order discount'.
I called to have them cancel my order and I was told I'd get a call back from the manager. The manager rang for one ring and hung up before I could answer. The number he called on wouldn't go through when I called back.
My order arrived before I could cancel it, even though I ordered at 1pm for a 5pm delivery.
Absolutely disgraceful customer service and ridiculously overpriced.
I wouldn't recommend deliveroo to my worst enemy.
Disgraceful
Disgraceful
After failing to get an order delivered through uber eats, i tried deliveroo. What a farce that was. Seems these companies only want to rip people off. I gave them a second chance after the last order was left on my steps...IN THE RAIN! Never again for this lot. Is there even an honest delivery company out there?
Fair play to those guys and girls…
Fair play to those guys and girls riding their pushbikes in the rain to bring me my kebab. Good on you guys.
Slow and poor customer service
Had to call three times to get my order delivered
Just diabolical
Just diabolical... Rang me to tell me the order had been spilt by the driver and that they would be reordering it for me, so another 30 to 40 minute wait. Then I get another call 10 minutes later telling me that the resteraunt rejected my order (with no explanation from deliveroo on why) , so after over an hour of waiting they cancelled the order and refunded my money. What a joke.
Deliveroo might scam you too
Last week, we used Deliveroo to order pizza from Palm Springs Pizza, which is 1 km from my home. The pizza shop owner said the order was ready for delivery within ten minutes and the Deliveroo App said the same. But Deliveroo delivered ONE HOUR AND TEN MINUTES AFTER the order was ready. The order arrived STONE COLD. DELIVEROO TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY, DELIVEROO WILL NOT REFUND my losses. Kimberly from Deliveroo Team said "...unable to provide you with compensation..." This means Deliveroo were comfortable in taking our money in return for delivering the pizza order cold and more than an hour after it was cooked. Clearly, Deliveroo have scammed me. Who knows, they might scam you too.
rider went to the wrong building
rider went to the wrong building, then pretend to wait for 10min call me and just left! customer service refusing refund because their policy says no more than 10min wait. but what a about rider went to the wrong building and didn't bother knock on the door, could even deliberately steal the food? where is customer protection? GPS clearly shows they are on the wrong building yet customer service deny it. poor service....I spend lots with you and this is how you treat your royal customers?
Deliveroo doesn’t have enough drivers but they’ll take your money anyway!
Deliveroo:
(1) Don’t take orders if you don’t have drivers available, (2) Don’t refuse to refund your customers 100% if the pizzas they ordered arrives over an hour after it was prepared, inedible, luke-warm and soggy!
At least Uber Eats warns their customers of limited availability when their drivers are staying out of the rain! This is now the third (and final) time you have done this! At least there is competition... hello Uber Eats and Menulog!
