The item was damaged and the socket…

The item was damaged and the socket already had burn marks as well as a used remote control. Appears I was sent a used/returned item rather than a brand new item, so much for quality control. So I never got to actually try the heater, sent it back for a refund as unsatisfied with the service I received, no apology or anything from Devola.

Great value extractor, easy to install.

The extractor was quick and easy to order, came very quickly and was a great price. Installation was ok as it was a simple replacement but I did struggle a little with the very small power line connection terminals. The extractor is not as quiet as my previous one, from a different manufacturer, but not too noisy either. The fan is working well and easy to adjust the timer from about 2 to 30 minutes, though I keep it towards the lower end.

heater looks like its been kicked and crap customer service

I have ordered heaters from Devola, specifically the wifi electric heaters and 4 of them in total, after seeing that they had decent reviews and that they connect to the WiFi fairly well.

I had been ordering these heaters for my new home, which I am due to move into relatively soon.

Come the day of the heaters arriving, I was quite excited, as this is quite an important part of any home. I was quite quickly frustrated, angry and annoyed by what I had received. 3 of 4 heaters were, in my opinions not fit to have even left the warehouse.

The first had a footmark across the book where someone had either kicked it or stepped on it, and this had gone through, causing a dent on the heater.

the second did not have a foot mark on the box but the section of the heater that was connected to the glass panel was bent

the third had wiring exposed which was pressed between two metal plates and could not be moved.

I had contacted Devola, who were quick to get back, but to be completely honest, were not much help.

They had initially refused to take the heaters back and offered me 5% off the value of the heater. I did not accept this. They have then agreed to give me 10% for the dented heaters and agreed to replace the heater with the wire exposed - they have warned me that I could end up having to pay a £25 fee for the replacement process should they find that the heater works.

The care team have been awful, instead of offering to replace, they have offered me a minuscule amount for goods I had purchased brand new but were not in a brand new state. They have been difficult at best, and I still remain in the dark about whether I will have to pay for the replacement, which would still leave me out of pocket more if you take into consideration the 2 damaged heaters i have been reimbursed for.

The £17 i have been paid back for two damaged heaters could easily be offset for the £25 fee for replacing the other heater. Getting the team to do anything helpful was a challenge and they were quite difficult to get anywhere with.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about the condition of the heaters you received — that’s absolutely not the standard we expect, and I fully understand why this would have been disappointing, especially when preparing for a new home.

Regarding the heater with the wiring concern: the wire wasn’t exposed in a way that would make the product unsafe, but it was visible between two metal plates when it shouldn’t have been, and I agree that this isn’t acceptable on a brand‑new item.

To clarify a couple of points, we do replace faulty or damaged items, but with all returns there is a standard inspection process. The £25 fee mentioned only applies if the returned item is found to be fully functional and undamaged — it is not a charge applied automatically.

I’ve reviewed the correspondence on your order to understand the situation clearly. The offers made by the team were based on the level of damage identified, as two of the units had cosmetic damage only, which would not have affected performance. In these cases, a discount was offered, as cosmetic damage may not be visible depending on the placement of the heaters, and many customers prefer this option. The partial refund was offered as an alternative to returning them, not as the only solution. If you had preferred to return all items for replacement or a refund instead, that option was of course available.

I completely appreciate how this may have come across from your perspective, particularly given the number of units affected. Damage in transit is rare, but when multiple items arrive in poor condition, we absolutely agree that it needs to be looked into, and we did raise the matter with our third party courier.

I’m sorry if the communication from our team felt unhelpful — that’s not the experience we want for any customer, and we will be reviewing the handling of this case internally.

Great dehumidifier with air purifier

Next day free delivery,£10 cheaper than the same unit from B and Q and Amazon. Extended free additional 1 year warranty. Great service,easy to use unit and fast and effective. The air purifier with HEPA filter is an excellent addition. Highly recommend this british based company and dealing direct was simple too.

Outstanding air purifier – great performance for the price

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from Devola. The air purifier/dehumidifier has exceeded my expectations. The device is powerful and works brilliantly. It does exactly what it promises and does it extremely well. It's easy to use and good looking too. Price also sets Devola apart. I spent some time comparing similar products and nothing came close in terms of value for money. This later has been solidified by excellent performance - confirmed by a frequent, 2-month usage now. On top of that, Devola is a British company, which makes the purchase even more satisfying. It feels good to support a local business that clearly delivers quality products. And delivers them fast - next day delivery, without paying for one!
Highly recommended! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Devola again.

Great customer support and great product

I received a DVPW1500G Glass Panel Heater that was faulty right out of the box, this can happen to any company.
I contacted Devola Customer Services and was put straight through to a real person, Jess, who explained the process for the return.
1 week after returning the heater at Devola's expense I received the replacement. I consider this a quick turn around for shipping, receiving, testing, confirming the fault and sending a replacement.

As for the heater itself. I have never had an easier smart product set up before. Turned the heater on and opened the SmartLife app, SmartLife found the heater straight away without prompting. Once SmartLife had setup the heater, Alexa found the heater straight away without prompting as well.
We have this heater in the kitchen dinner and set via Alexa routines for on and off times and temperature. It works like a charm. I will say that the heater will stay heating for a degree (or 2) past the set temp, but I just tweaked the target temp down a little.

Overall great customer service and great product.

The heater is excellent value, a neat unobtrusive design and easy to wall mount.
It is keeping my living room warm and cosy though the January storms.

Quick delivery of unit thanks but the Filters were sent separately- which I wasn’t told about and delivered by another courier without even a card to say where they’d left it.
I only found out when I phoned to say I’d received the unit but not the filters.

The heater arrived on time and well packed in stout boxes. The heater itself operates as I had hoped and , once I had mastered the control app, is easy to operate from my mobile.

I purchased this lovely panel heater…

I purchased this lovely panel heater for my massage studio soon to open. It is great, not only to look at but to be able to control it from my phone is so useful. I love the temp display.It doesn't bother me that it is fairly bright but the dysplasia can be turned off. It does take a wee while to reach temp but is fine for my needs.

Good heater works well and looks smart. Negative, the lead is so very short and you are advised not to use an extension lead so limits where you can place it.
