Bad delivery bad communication
Placed an order 16th December it’s 6th January and I still only had half the doors delivered to me!

3rd party suppliers selling goods on behalf of another
I placed an order with doors supplies, they didn’t give me any information at all their supplier had non in stock, they charged me the full price and delivery which was meant to be 1-5 working days. Order was placed on 15th December and Upto 2nd of January I’ve still go no concrete information from them.
Not happy with them at all, not professional enough and not willing to even admit their fault rather playing the blame game with their supplier and not actually looking after their customer.
Will not be using them again extremely disappointed

We do apologise for the delay with this order, the supplier showed this as in stock but had an arror on their system and this was delayed until more stock was received as we had mentioned.This was due in over the Christmas period when we were shit and then we got this out on an express delivery to ensure there were no further delays once we came back on the 5th and delivered this on the 6th of January for you.
Again, we do apologise for the issues faced with a technical glitch this was an unforeseen circumstance and we have tried to resolve this as quickly as possible for you. With the Christmas period this has also delayed this until we were back.

Ordered 3 doors. Was a slight issue as the driver could not get his lorry down our street. Customer service were fantastic in rearranging the delivery. Great communication.

Bought two oak shaker frosted glass…
Bought two oak shaker frosted glass doors in the Black Friday sale.
They were just about ok as there were quite I lot of rough areas with little nicks out of the wood as well so a lot of sanding was required to get rid of the imperfections.
They were not listed as seconds but they were definitely not perfect

So far, unimpressed
Enquired about a door via customer service and was encouraged to purchase as it was on a Black Friday offer. The website did (and still does) offer next day delivery for this door (at a price).
Many emails and missed deadlines later after promising my builder that the door will arrive ASAP I am told that the door is on back order from the manufacturer until the new year. This company do not hold stock and pass any manufacturer delays onto you. This isn’t clearly stated on the website. Other websites are upfront about lead time but likely lose the sale to Door Supplies Online who are offering “next day delivery”.
No gesture of goodwill was offered, not even a refund of my 3-5 day delivery fee! And now I have to pay my builder to come back in the new year.
I’ve contacted customer service again and if no suitable resolution is offered I will cancel the order.
I would proceed with caution if ordering from this company. I certainly won’t use them again.

We completely understand why this situation was disappointing. While we do stock a large range of products, some items are supplied directly from manufacturers, and in this case the availability changed after your order was placed. That doesn’t change the fact that our communication and expectation-setting fell short here, and we hold our hands up to that.
We’re also sorry that you feel a suitable gesture of goodwill wasn’t offered at the time. That’s not the experience we want any customer to have, particularly when plans and additional costs are involved.
We appreciate the feedback and will be using it to improve how lead times and stock positions are communicated more clearly going forward.

Can't actually comment on door quality as my doors are on an 18 week delay for delivery however my dealingswith customer service have been spot on.

Had a great experience after being let down very badly by another company who left me waiting for 7 weeks and little to no communication. I then went to door supplies and they had my doors delivered within 10 working days as promised and was such a stress free process thanks to the sales team who kept me up to date every step of the way. I can see from the correspondance we have had with yourself, the reason for not accepting the return was due to the door no longer being in it's original condition and the packaging being ripped so we are unable to sell this as a new door anymore.

Really bad made doors
It’s not a company thing it’s a product made by an employee thing
When doors are poorly made or rushed to be made by employees and the buyer e.g Me has a lot of work to try and make good of what you supplied as I cannot inspect all on delivery is the problem
I had 4 shaker doors in light oak but the internal panels don’t meet the framing of the door leaving a 1mm gap which is visible and looks garbage
So it looks like I’m going to have to buy 4 more doors from someone else and waist hundreds of pounds
I will be leaving feedback on trustpilot as well

Communication is non existent you have to chase for delivery updates and even then it took 2/3 weeks.
I had to return 1 door due to wrong size still haven’t received a refund or any communication about return. Its been over 3 weeks.

Reliable Service
- The customer service responded quickly to my emails when I had queries and were quite helpful.
- The items arrived on time and were as described.
- In contrast to other websites, they list the availability of the items correctly. I had the experience in other stores where I ordered something only to get an email the next day about that the item was not available. This was not the case here.

It pays to be exact in what you want.
The 2 shelves I ordered were made of beautiful wood .
The colour is rich as I had them oiled.
I was disappointed that for £260 they weren’t one piece of wood, they were pieces glued together, you can see the stripes.
I had the shelves put up and I am also disappointed that the edges are so different, one is just faint lines, the other is squiggly patterned wood.

I purchased 3 LPD Doors and was pleased…
I purchased 3 LPD Doors and was pleased to finally see that i could get delivery for £60 to the Isle of Wight. Imagine my disappointment when i received a phone call informing me that this was actually not the case and Isle of Wight delivery was in fact not possible and there was an issue with the web site. The service i received from this point was excellent with communication and the full refund being received in a timely manner.
