Waiting for a response from customer…
Waiting for a response from customer services after hiring a car from Madeira Funchal. My grievance is being charged 1800 euros taken from my security deposit after the hire had ended for a damaged couch. I’m an experienced driver and no way was clutch damage caused by my driving - it’s normal wear and tear. No responses to my email have been received from Drivalia Portugal or UK so I’m posting here about my disappointment and feeling of being conned by this company. It’s in the hands of the credit card company as a dispute because mechanical failure (clutch damage) is not covered under excess insurance.

Took over half an hour for the bus…
Took over half an hour for the bus transfer then 90 mjj in mutes to get the car.
Drop off took 20 minutes then another half hour wait.

Good work, Koby!
Had a good recent hire from their Fulham Broadway branch, handily above the tube station. They changed the time of hiring by an hour at no extra cost. When I arrived Koby, the excellent manager, gave me an upgrade, fought their slow IT system to register me, then was present on my return 4 days later to check the car over. All in all, an easy and cost-effective hire.

Never book this if ur under 23
Absolutely rubbish experience not worth it at all. Some young driver fee trashed my whole trip. Never expected this fee. Tried Switch Car Rental before nothing like this happened. Never happened this before. They had all my birthdays and details. Should have mentioned to me BEFORE the booking. Called asking for help some old had kept telling me about t&s absolutely horrible experience.
