Do they have one small child working in…

Do they have one small child working in a cupboard with an etch-a-sketch processing customer queries such as processing my refund??

If they are short of staff I'll happily apply for a job. I need the money since I lost my job a year ago, which is about the time I paid for tickets to the Russell Kane gig that was rescheduled and should have gone ahead a fortnight ago but was cancelled the day before.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid this company at all costs.. They refuse to give me a refund for a comedy in the park gig that they have moved from a weekend this year in August to week day event next year. Paypal can't help as it has been too long, trying to recover costs from credit card and I have reported to action fraud police.. google it to report if you feel you need to. Also reported them to government around unfair around covid rules.. when reporting to action fraud their address came up as a legal and insolvency office...

Terrible customer service. AVOID!!

Shocking company, can't contact them by phone and they just send standard template email responses!

Comedy in the Park rescheduled and they refuse to refund, claiming section 46 (force majeure) of their T&Cs applies.

Comedy in the Park website states that the promoters (M&B Promotions) have rescheduled as they can’t get Covid-specific cancellation insurance. Force majeure is meant to cover unforeseen events outside of their control. Tickets originally went on sale during the pandemic and presumably without Covid-specific insurance in place, so how is this an unforeseen event now?

I have asked both Easy Ticketing and M&B Promotions for an explanation – no response. They share the same registered office and clearly the companies are linked.

Unless Easy Ticketing do the right thing and offer refunds I will contact my credit card provider, report them as acting unfairly, and take them to the small claims court if necessary.

Just a scam!!!

Just a scam!!!!
Same template email response to customers, telephone number disappeared off the website. Dates totally changed … genuinely bamboozled at the lack of understanding or communication from this so-called company!
Hope but doubt we will all get refunds .

Tips to claim your money back

Tips to claim your money back - did you pay using PayPal? You can raise a payment dispute via the dispute resolution centre.

Did you pay using a credit card? You can contact your bank and raise a section 75 dispute which will mean the bank will contact the seller to investigate your complaint.

Did you pay via debit card? Contact your bank and ask them to initiate a chargeback.

You need to follow these steps before commencing legal action which is set out in the civil procedure rules on pre-action conduct and protocols.

The clause they are trying to enforce point 46 “force majeure” is to cover them for what would be considered “unforeseen” circumstances, the tickets went on sale in March 2021 during the current pandemic so it can be argued this was not unforeseen. The reason for cancellation is due to the company not being able to obtain the suitable insurance for themselves. Unfortunately responsibility is on this company YOU decided to sell tickets for an event prior to sourcing insurance so it’s YOUR responsibility.

Good luck everyone 🍀

A poor level of customer service

Absolutely criminal. In the biggest financial crisis in history, and these criminals think it’s ok to withhold customer money to line their own pockets and have the audacity to release a statement blaming the government during a worldwide global pandemic. They think that their business and livelihood is better than anyone else’s. Too many unhappy people at the moment, and the movement to expose them will only gain traction if they don’t do the right thing.

Refusing refund

Refusing refund for comedy in the park. Very poor customer service and not in line with Gov advice for cancellations due to covid. Other companies are. Will never use again. Can't make the re-scheduled dates. Will be reporting. Telling me is in line with section 46 of their terms. This should have been made clear before purchase.

Do not use this company

What at joke of a company….do not deal with these people. I like most people booked the Comedy in the Park event at Wicksteed Park, and received an email stating the event had been cancelled and would be rescheduled for next year…which I can’t attend..
They cancelled the event before the new pending restrictions were announced! They have refused a refund….can anyone advise what they are doing to persue the claim?
I don’t know how they think they can get away with it.. I booked another event at the same venue with another company. Emailed them this morning as that too has been rescheduled, and they emailed straight back saying the refund would be with me in the next 5 days. So can’t understand why Easyticketing are not doing the same…. Cross is an understatement!,,,

Small Claims letter

After being told no refund for the change of date for the Comedy Festival, I have now taken advice from Martin Lewis, found the Company Director on HMRC and sent a signed for letter giving them 28 days to sort things out before it goes to the Small Claims Court. Do note - there is association between Easy Ticketing and Simple Ticketing Ltd, both are mentioned on the invoice. The pre-court letter I downloaded from the Martin Lewis money site.

One of the worst customer service…

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Firstly it was stressful to get tickets. Then they refuse to give refunds and reschedule a weekend date to a Monday night. Who wants to go out on a Monday night?!?! Also it's impossible to get hold of them. Put me off going to events at Wicksteed Park ever again because of this awful company.

Every one, report them to the CMA and have Easyticketing investigated.

BEWARE..Bogus Company

BEWARE... I'm currently talking with trading standards about this company as they cancelled the Craig David concert which was supposed to be this September "apparently due to Covid" but they refuse to give me a refund and they are still selling tickets for the event this year even though they have emailed me saying it's been cancelled, so in other words they are selling tickets for an event that doesn't exist.

Do not buy tickets from this company!

Awful awful awful company, no refund for comedy in the park event even though I am unable to attend the rescheduled date, they are not following the rules and are sending generic response emails once in a blue moon, very very poor service!

Comedy in the park

We, like most people on here, booked for comedy in the park in Leeds, for July. My partner sent them an email asking for a refund as we ste unable to attend the one rescheduled for next year. They have replied and state that in their terms and conditions, section 46..yes, 46..no refunds will be given out for reasons of pandemics etc etc
This, in my opinion, should have been visible on the front of the booking form, therefore giving you the option of purchasing a ticket or not..People need to be aware of scrupulous organisations like "Easy ticketing"..they are a disgrace and should hang their heads in shame

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
As others have stated Comedy in the park rescheduled for June next year.
REFUND REFUSED advised probably wouldn’t get PayPal refund as covered by section 46 in their T & A.
No need to cancel as outdoors event
New date is a Thursday not Saturday
Customer services poor standard replies
Explained like others that if it had originally been advertised as Thursday I wouldn’t of booked. Other sporting events are taking place before this date some to full capacity stadiums.
Other companies are obliging in refunds
Credit note offered - hardly any other options available and of those I wouldn’t go.
