If I could give this company minus stars I would! Same as everyone else, comedy in the park cancelled despite being planned for dates outside of potential lockdown restrictions and even so , when it’s an outdoor controlled event anyway!!! This is not exactly an unforeseen situation is it, as they are trying to say to enact on their clauses. Jokers. The lockdown is supposed to be completely lifted with zero restrictions by this date. Even if not, this wasn’t the case at the time of cancellation by then. The June ease of restrictions date hadn’t even been extended at this point either! Can’t make the new dates due to my job and my party’s jobs being public sector key workers-offered a credit note but I live in the north of England and most events they hold are southern uk incurring yet more travel and hotel booking costs for me, when I was adequately sorted for the tickets I booked for and agreed to at the time I paid for them!!!!!! Laughable is not good enough to described this company. Utterly selfish money grabbing scam artists. A refund should be offered to all. Disgusting customer service. Disgusting morals. They’ve cancelled on us for reasons outside of covid, that was it as not a present issue at the time of the arranged event. Do not ever purchase from this company, they will shaft you instantly. So very disappointed in a Uk based company. I feel sorry for their staff having to deal with the decisions made by such greedy, unemotional and frankly short sighted company owners. I will never ever book from this company again, ever. I will also advise all of my friend never to book anything with this company. Hang your heads in Shame.

Refusing to offer refund for event that was rescheduled. Like many others we cannot make the rearranged date and should be offered a refund.

Event moved and can’t go but no refund as they claim it was clearly stated at the time of booking (it wasn’t) that COVID affected events don’t get a refund.

Offer of credit note not good enough.

Comedy in the park cancelled and I can’t go next year so e mailed and tried to call Easyticketing with no response so I put in a chargeback claim with bank who have temporarily refunded me. Just received e mail from easy tickets saying they will offer a credit note or to transfer the tickets over. This is not acceptable as I want a full refund. This company are not to be trusted

Requested a refund for tickets for Comedy in the Park rescheduled from 2021 to 2022. Was refused refund despite statement on their website in FAQ's that refunds are "given for cancelled or rescheduled events" Have taken it up with event organisers. Disgusted with this company.

As with many others, event was rescheduled from a Saturday in August 2021 to a Thursday in June 2022, when I will be unable to go. Refusal to refund the cost. Will be going to small claims.

Booked UB40 tickets and show cancelled now they say back on for next year which is no good and can't get a reply or money back Beware

Event rescheduled (using unfair and spurious covid clause) and no refund offered as per government guidance. Please don’t use this ticket agent !!!

If this happened to you then report them to the CMA and they will investigate.

Trading Standards report made too (we all should do this) to trigger an investigation into business practices.

NOTE: Melissa Austin (director of simple ticketing ltd trading as easy ticketing was until May 2021 a director of M B Promotions - the organisers of comedy in the park event - so more evidence it’s a scam.

Wouldn't even give 1 star but had to just to write a review.
They have cancelled tickets due to'Covid-19'and won't give refund just reschedule for next year. Can't make the date given. Won't respond to emails and disconnect the one phone number advertised. Absolute thieves!!

I would give zero stars if possible. Rescheduled an event that was supposed to be in July 21, it has now been moved to July 22. No offer of an exchange or alternative and they claim Covid means they do not have to give a refund. Like others I will pursue this with my bank and/or the small claims court. If McFly read these reviews they would steer clear of being associated with these promoters.

Would not even give one star but had too to leave review. Horrendous service will not give money back on rescheduled gig. They do not have the right to hold onto my money for well over a year. Not only this I have emailed numerous times I cant make the new date. Do not book with this company ever! I am having to take legal action now to get my own money back.

Shocking customer service after they have cancelled and reschedule a comedy in the park from a Saturday in July 2021 to a Thursday in June 2022 they are now refusing to issue me a refund saying they are allowed to do this stating this is because of COVID-19 when in fact the date in July this year will allow the festival to go ahead. Shocking, awful and disappointed as everyone is going through financial issues at the moment and for them to keep my money when they have rescheduled.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! Absolute scam artists! They will take your money, cancel an event and refuse to give you a refund on the basis that they are rescheduling the date for the following year! I dont want to go next year, therefore give me back my money!!!!!!

Quoting Force Majeure as a reason not to refund. To be Force Majeure, it has to be unforeseen, but of course this was always a strong possibility with COVID when taking our money.

So easy Ticketing promoters of party in the Park event at Ketterings Wicksteed Park have cancelled gig but have refused to refund stating it will be rescheduled for next year. No-one has any idea of line up so don't have an option or a say. Apparently it's in the small print! Postponed an event until next year, and won't give us a refund under "force majeure". Absolute joke of a company, not even a STAR member, so be careful who you choose to purchase from. You cannot guarantee or even expect everyone who purchased tickets to be able to go next year, and there was absolutely no reason to postpone - was this your plan all along? Give people their money back. We won't be using you again, and we WILL be going through the bank or small claims court to get our money back.

Edit to add: they're still advertising tickets for postponed events through their website. Very deceptive.
