This company is totally misleading. Don't use them. All they seemed to me to be interested in was selling you an insurance policy and the hard sell comes right at the end

We apologise that you felt our advisor was trying to sell you an insurance policy. At Employers Direct we don't have any products or services to sell, giving free advice as you will see from our other reviews. Based on the reason for your call an advisor may have offered a free consultation with the company that fund our free advice centre but it's not something we can provide. Again, we apologise for any mis-communication during the call.

Doesn't sound like the independent advice their company name and advert inferred. I'm guessing that Employers Direct-uk.org is a wholly owned subsidiary of Peninsula Business Services Ltd and let me also guess, Peninsula Business Services Ltd. would have sold or brokered me the insurance policy that I was offered at a cost of £20 per week?

The more I hear the more this company strikes me as a hole digging duck!

I've rang a couple of times and had free advice from these guys. They are great, friendly and professional perfect for my small business. I would recommend in a heart beat.

This is an amazing service and the follow up advice was second to none. The adviser was friendly and very knowledgeable - I would tell anyone who has an enquiry to get on the phone and ask these people. A massive thank you.

I was a bit emotional after speaking to Darren as the issue I had was causing me a lot of stress and he was so kind to me, as I'm not sure I even made sense at times! I felt like I was talking to a friend, as weird as that sounds, and the info he gave me was spot on. The chance to recommend employers direct is my pleasure, without our account manager there, we, would be simply staff less or in some trouble regarding staff holiday/annual leave calculations. With their advice and ACAS support we in a good position in terms of HR management.

I never imagined the amount of time and resources we would need to manage employee sickness, holiday or annual leave, but it turns out employers direct always have it covered.
